After having the greetings done, his father pointed them to sit in front, leaving Mingyu just in front of Wonwoo.

Mingyu vividly remembers Wonwoo's frozen expressions when his eyes landed on him and his brothers. He knew they weren't expecting them to be here, in the same way they weren't expecting anything that happened. If it was any normal situation, the brothers would already have been on eachother's throat, ready to kill the one in front but right now, the situation was more related to their fathers than them.

And on the top of that, they didn't wanted their fathers to know the fact that they knew the three from University and have met them already. When their most of the meetings were definitely not friendly and that thing definitely wouldn't please the fathers of both sides, they ought to keep that little secret inside them. It was their personal problem anyway, something that has nothing to do with business if not marriage.

But Mingyu could still see Wonwoo glaring at him while sitting in front, as if pointing at him for all the chaos that happened. He was baffled, but his frustration didn't left out from the fork he threateningly pointed at him while glaring back, something he learnt from Vernon over years.

Suddenly his older brother leaned towards his side, indicating him to lean too as Mingyu did the same. Even Hansol leaned in when he wasn't even invited, all that just to hear his brother whisper, "If it's the older one you are getting married, you have very few moments of happiness left. I am not even joking that he will make your life hell without any day as exception."

Mingyu gulped hard, looking at front just to find Jeonghan glaring at him from all his might. Suddenly, Mingyu could see no otherwise in his hyung's sentence. He was definitely going to strangle him to death on the very next day of their wedding, if that really happened.

"Or even worst that you got married to the youngest." Mingyu heard his younger say in his other ears, "The younger one will definitely put poison in your coffee in the very next day of your marriage."

Mingyu glared at his younger brother, a way to tell him to shut the fuck up since he was already very scared. Before few moments, he wasn't feeling anything perticular, but now he felt every little emotion he didn't felt in long while, panick, fear, frustration, agression, disbelief, dismay and other fifty shades of grief.

Even Boo Seungkwan looked threatening to him at that point. He couldn't help it. His eyes then automatically settled on Jeon Wonwoo as he couldn't help but whisper back to both his brothers, "I don't see any bright day ahead even if that's the middle one I am getting married to." He turned his head one by one to his both brothers, pleading, "Give me a nice grave once he kill me on the same wedding day."

Vernon retreated back, patting his back as if saying that he would. Seungcheol on the other hand shook his head in discrete manner, showing off his disapproval. It was the time when Wonwoo's father finally decided to speak when Mingyu's father asked him to introduce his sons to his.

As if they didn't actually know eachother all these while.

Their father but was glad with that offer, "Meet my sons." He point at Jeonghan, "His name is Yoon Jeonghan. He is the oldest." He then pointed at Seungkwan, "He is Boo Seungkwan, he is my youngest." And Mingyu saw their father releasing a sigh, first time in a while that someone's breath made him hear his heart palpitations loud and clear, "And he is my middle child, Jeon Wonwoo. The one I was- no, the one who is willingly ready to be your son-in-law."

Mingyu could gag as that word definitely when it wasn't even said to him. He knew something like this would happen, he always had that feeling inside him. If it was Wonwoo he was about to marry, he rather stay single.

But he can't back off now, atleast not after he said he could do it when his father was taking his opinion. It will be like insulting in his father's decisions specially when he was the one who said that he had to ask his sons before saying anything about the marriage. He did his part and now Mingyu wasn't supposed to back off, the same way Wonwoo didn't even when he wasn't exactly pleased with the marriage.

Mingyu could see a small smile spread on his father's lips as he nodded, looking at Wonwoo briefly for few moments before the warm smile changed into fond one. Sure his father looked pleased, by what? Mingyu couldn't pin point.

"He is my oldest son, Choi Seungcheol. He is my youngest son, Hansol Vernon chwe, and this is my middle son, Kim Mingyu, the one, i suppose, is going to marry your son, Wonwoo."

Mingyu could hear a small gasp from seungkwan's side, something he would have laughed about if it wasn't for him being on his absolute peak of mental breakdown. He looked at his Hyung for a little consolation, not even trying to have any type of eye contact with the three in front.

His Hyung hugged him from side while trying not to make it obvious. Mingyu in the other hand himself felt like a girl that was asked to strip dance in front of people. He was embarrassed, agitated and felt every emotion that girl would have felt for literally no reason. This was the end of his life, he didn't even have a single doubt about it.

The conversation started with Mingyu hearing few praises from Wonwoo's father and the latter hearing the same from Mingyu's. He sometimes wanted to laugh at the formalities done right in front of him but he knew he should not for the sake of his sanity. The conversation was long, mainly about business and other things which would come after the marriage, but Mingyu couldn't make himself feel as excited as the two old men.

He heard his father say, "I was thinking of letting Wonwoo live with us, not as like the traditional way where we gift them houses or other things, it's like with us, as whole."

The only conversation they had in while that made Mingyu a little less restless. He was relieved thinking atleast his dead body wouldn't rot in his own house and have to wait for someone to find it out. Atleast he don't have to be around the suffocating man all the time. His brothers will be there, he was happy with that thought.

Even Wonwoo's father agreed to it, much without Wonwoo's opinion being asked. There was no reason for it, Wonwoo was supposed to live alone in a big house if they lived by the traditional way, something Wonwoo was really uncomfortable in according to his father. It was genuine of him to agree to it.

The conversation went for a while with Wonwoo and Mingyu purposely ignoring eachother. Well, not until they heard their fathers add, "We should let them have a little chat, no?"

A chat? Mingyu looked at his father in disbelief while the man smiled awkwardly at him. It was the point Mingyu was sure his father was the first one wanting to hear his middle son being thrown off the same balcony they were sending them to have that little chat of theirs.

He could see Wonwoo hesitating from front, standing only when Mingyu did after receiving a glare from his father.  None of them were interested, neither in eachother, nor in the chat they were supposed to hold but Mingyu found himself walking towards the balcony of his own hotel, Wonwoo following him from behind.

The night was clear and breezy, stars twinkling in sky while soft cold air landing on the small patches of skin Mingyu was showing right now. He suddenly felt a little better after having the fresh air while he watched the other man settle on a good distance from him, probably on the other corner while his hands were folded on his chest.

Unlike Mingyu who was in proper attire of dinner, Wonwoo was wearing a white shirt and black pants beneath. Mingyu faintly remember Wonwoo wearing the same type of coat he was wearing at the moment, but he was not wearing it anymore. He supposed Wonwoo left it to his seat.

None of them spoke something for good few minutes, and Mingyu could do the same for the given full fifteen minutes for their little chat but he had something to convey to the man in front.

"Back off." He stated blankly, finally earning Wonwoo's attention who looked at him feeling dazed. He repeated again, "I know you don't want to stay with me so back off."

He heard the shorter chuckle, "You don't want to stay with me too, why don't you back off?"

Mingyu was amused by the statement made, "Would that even make a difference?"

"Yes it would." Wonwoo admitted, "You know very well, in between the two families sitting there, the backing off one would have the blame of betrayal. I know if you could, you would have already called this off. Obviously when you are as interested in this as I am."

Mingyu felt his fist tightening. Atleast Wonwoo wasn't as stupid as he thought but he needed him to back off. Specially when the sudden idea that if he really backed off, Everything will become alright stricked him hard.

Their little chat ended them up in nothing but in argument and nothing else. They went back, grabbing their seats and sitting nonchalantly, realising this was less of a marriage and more of a competition of let the one in front lose his patience and tell his parents to call off the marriage. Mingyu wasn't going to lose in, he never lose.

He heard his brother ask, "What did he say? Is he backing off?"

His brother was desperate, maybe because he still have hope in himself while Mingyu was hopeless, "He said no. He wants me to back off."

His both brothers looked questioningly to him when he stated those words, "I will make him back off." Mingyu decided. "By hook or crook, doesn't matter."
