i looked at social media after i left amara and what i found was devastating . why do i still care so much?

the media posted about her and joão and she was there with him , hugging him and he kissed her forehead . again .

she told me there wasn't anything going on with them , while the hours before she probably kissed him and told joão that she loved him .

when i came down , i saw amara on the couch with pedris hoodie and her cereals , talking to my best friends who were focused on the screen with their eyes .

„there is my hoodie! you have stolen it!"

when the game ended pedri jumped next to amara and tickled her .

„it's mine i don't know what you're talking about pedri"

she smirked sneakily , her eyes shining . god , don't even let me start on how fucking beautiful her eyes were . i could get lost in them all day , all night and all of my life .

„mhm i see how it is amor , you're getting back for that"

„yeah yeah"

she ruffled his hair and stood up to put her now empty bowl into the dishwasher .

„gavi what's up with you?"

alejandro spoke up and looked at me , concerned .

„nothing , i'm fine . don't worry"

i can't stop to think about amara and it's driving me crazy .

„guysss i'll leave now-"

the her phone interrupted us , it was somehow laying next to me , so i handed it to hear and the contact name said „lindo 🫂"

„thanks"

she thanked me and looked suprised when she saw who it was .

„lindo! already missing me?"

she then chuckled at his reply and i clenched my jaw .

„yeah yeah ... of course not! ... okay , bye , love you lindo"

she slightly blushed at his answer and hung up .

„what was that about?"

„oh just the articles that are on all possible social platforms , joão asked me if he could post a statement on his story , saying that we're just friends and both got our eyes on someone else"

i felt so dumb right now .

„i was wondering!! so you both are just friends?"

alejandro was curious and amara nodded at him , then left .

i don't know why i've been so angry , i could've just talk to her .

„alright guys , i'll get going , see you"

we were on a break right now , i have 1 week until training starts again .

after alejandro left , i sat down next to pedri , thinking about amara .

„you still love her huh?"

„i never stopped loving her "

he nodded and seemed to remember something .

„what's wrong pedri?"

„what me? no , nothing i'm good . you've been acting different today pablo , what's wrong with you?"

„i... i was jealous because of these pictures from amara and joão because she told me the other day they don't have anything going on anymore... but pedri , please tell me , how was she with him? was she happy? or unhappy? i need to know!"

„well she didn't tell me at first , but she seemed way happier when we called than before , then she told me and was telling me that she doesn't know if she loves him or if she's able to move on from .. you ... amara told joão everything about her past in much detail , according to her because she wanted someone to care for her in ways „friends" couldn't . in a way only jude , jamal or you can"

„so she was happy with him?"

„yeah until one day she started to act different and i still don't know why , but i am assuming that it caused them to break up"

i silently nodded .

„what should i do pedri? do you think she'll ever take me back after all i've said?"

„i don't know . she might will someday , maybe tomorrow , maybe in 2 months or maybe never , i seriously have no clue brother"

„why does loving someone you can't have hurt so much?"

he sighed and shook his head .

AMARAS POV

when i arrived home , i packed out all the presents , every of them were so perfect and i wrote everyone a message , thanking for these gifts .

i thought i was already finished , but then i saw another present there . it was a small one , but looked pretty from the outside . i guessed that it was jewelry .

looking for the name , i spotted a name on the back . „p. gavira" . pablo .

i unwrapped it and gasped .

FLASHBACK

„do you want this bracelet?"

pablo asked me while wrapping his arm around me and kissing my hair .

„no , i'm fine thank you"

i smiled at him . i indeed wanted that bracelet , it was one with the infinity blade , but it was way too expensive .

„whatever you say hermosa"

he lightly kissed my shoulder and i blushed .

FLASHBACK END

it was the bracelet with the infinity blade . i nearly teared up because it was months ago since we had that conversation about the pretty jewelry which he now gifted me .

i did send him a text after that , wanting to be nice . i really don't know what there was between me and gavi . i don't know if i still loved him and every situation where we had those ... moments , one of us needed help . i don't know if i'll be able to touch him , these past days it was the adrenaline , but now? i don't even know how he feels for me , or if he was only trying to be nice the whole time .

everything was just so ... sad and confusing today and in that moment i didn't know it was going be even more sad and confusing in the evening .
