Julia sat outside on the hood of the car with her knees pressed to her chest, staring warily at the grave stones all separated through out the grassy field, she got a good view of Max from where she sat reading the letter she wrote to Billy.

The wind blowing through her hair made her feel relaxed missing the peaceful days of Hawkins, Steve leaned back against the seat, keeping his eyes on her flowing red hair, remembering how he'll run his hands through it and sometimes braid it, smiling to himself at the memory.

"You should go talk with her." Dustin hinted, keeping his own eyes close resting them. "Boring your eyes into her head won't help."

Steve tapped his fingers down on the steering wheel, knowing the young teen had a point, with a scoff he got out the car shutting the door getting Julia's attention, Steve muttered softly underneath his breath hoping onto the car sitting beside her.

He cleared his throat, before saying. "What did you mean when you said, "the things I've done or seen" what does it mean?" Steve brought his legs to his chest rubbing the side of jaw.

Julia bit the inside of her cheek, glaring down at her hands, they turned a full shade of black nothing could change it unless she destroyed the darkhold and she knew that.

"You know there's other worlds beside this one." Julia turned her head, letting their eyes bored into each other's, Steve snicker nodding.

"Yeah, there's a whole solar system." Steve tells her, now it was her turned to laugh throwing her head back, dropping her legs to lay flat on the hood.

"Gosh, you're adorable." Julia returned back keeping a grin on her face. "But I meant like, universes, I actually visited one."

Steve drew his eyebrows together, he didn't understand what she meant by that. "It was quite an experience, but also really, really beautiful." Julia smiled remembering Billy and Tommy along with little baby Betty.

"Yeah?" Steve cocked his head to the side, wanting to hear more about this universe she was talking about. "Tell me about it."

Julia on the other hand didn't want to tell him anything, she felt like it wasn't the right time especially when they had to keep an eye on Max. "Maybe another time." She smiles softly.

Steve hummed shortly nodding, he reached forward pushing a stray away from her face behind her ear, cupping her cheek glazing his thump over the soft skin, she smiled nuzzling her face into his palm.

"Gosh, I love you." Steve says softy, his eyes stared into hers with nothing but pure love and adoration, he promised he'll marry her if she came back to him and she did. He never breaks his promises not when it comes to her.

Julia lips trembled as her eyes welled up with tears, sniffing letting a tear trail down her warm cheek, Steve wiped her tear with his thump.

"I don't think I deserve your love." She whispered quietly, turning away from him, her vision stayed blurry for a moment but slowly returned to normal, Steve furrowed sliding off the hood standing in front dragging her forward closer to him.

"Of course you deserve my love, you deserve more then my love, Julia." Steve cupped her cheeks as she let the tears stream down her cheeks wetting his palms. "I love you, okay."

Steve brought her head into his chest, letting her tears soak his shirt not caring at all about it. Julia hands wrapped around his torso laying her head flat against his chest, as he leaned down pressing a kiss to the top of her head before laying his head over hers.

"I've missed you Steve." Julia whispered pulling back away from his warm embrace, Steve smiled down at her rubbing her cheeks, wiping away the extra fallen tears from her face.

"You have no idea how much I've missed your presents." Steve eyes dilated while smiling down at her and toying with her hair, Julia only scrunched up her nose leaning into his soft, yet rough hands.

"Just kiss already." Dustin Henderson groans getting out the car, he was feeling like the third wheel around them, missing his oldest friend Eddie.

"How long have you known Eddie?" Julia turned to him reading his mind. Dustin crossed his arms leaning against the side of the car.

"Since the beginning of the school year, Mike and I were all alone seated in the far back of the cafeteria and Eddie noticed us and invited us to his table were he told us about Hellfire."

Dustin explained wishing he was back in that basement playing D&D with his friends. Julia furrowed glancing at Steve then back at the young teen. "Who else is apart of this club?"

"Lucas, Mike— Obviously Eddie, me, and some other friends you don't know." Dustin explained, Julia smiled thinking about Will.

"You know, I'm still play D&D." Julia mentions pushing Steve away from her and making her way to Dustin, his eyes lip up as a toothless smile appeared on his face. "Really?"

Julia nods. "On Saturdays Will and I will go into the backyard and play, sometimes it lonely with just us and so El will join us, but she sucks at game." She giggled at the memory. "She'll get mad when she has to start over."

Dustin snickers clapping his hands , Steve watches with his hands on his hips, Julia waved her arms around as she explained more about the game, while Dustin just listened with a smile on his face.

"— but then I come in and slay them all down." Julia finished her story with a proud grin, Dustin hummed applauding with a small bow.

"Eddie will definitely love to challenge you." Dustin tells her, knowing how competitive the Munson teen can be. "Maybe one day he'll get to meet Will if they ever come back to Hawkins." Julia nods.

"Yeah. Definitely."

Steve glanced down at his sliver watch seeing the time, he looked over at Max she hadn't moved from her spot in over thirty minutes, he grew worried about her and began to make his way to her.

"Steve, just give her some time." Lucas said from his spot on top of the car, Steve turned back facing him as he walked backwards. "I have, all right? Sinclair."

"I'm calling it. She wants to get a lawyer, she can." Steve says making his way into the cemetery, calling out the girls name not getting a reply back, kneeling down shaking her shoulders, noticing the color in her eyes. "Max!
