In the end both of them are searching for a pharmacy "I told you to stay inside the office why would you complicate things?" jeno raised a brow while his eyes focused on the road

"you're the one complicating things I wasn't even bruised that bad" jaemin huffed. He was confused why the CEO was overreacting too much just for a small bruise on his elbow it's very unusual for a man like him.

Jeno really wasn't paying attention since he's focus of searching "Oh! I think I found one" turning the stirring wheel to side "don't go anywhere okay? Just stay here" he said before leaving

"of course I'm not a chi-" jaemin replied but the car door was slammed before he can even finish his sentence

after a couple of minutes "did I take too long?" He arrived , bought a whole medical kit all he actually needed was a ointment and bandaid but no a whole medical kit.

"thank you...?" Jaemin felt awkward about thanking the other and immediately applying the ointment

"woah woah you shouldn't apply that directly you should put some cotton on it first , let me"

Jaemjn raised both of his brows. Why does he care? don't tell me.... am I getting fired today?! "NO!" by that he accidentally yelled making him flinch

"oh okay" the ceo wandered his eyes around the streets trying to make the atmosphere awkward

jaemin grabbed the pack of cotton and putting a little bit of alcohol on it and rubbed it directly to his bruise "ah shit that stings!"

"I told you so , why would you even apply alcohol to your bruise of course it will sting. Stop being stubborn I'll do it just don't move okay?" he sounded like a mother. He takes the the cotton and put the ointment gently to his bruise

his heart is beating really fast like it's about to explode any second. Their faces were too close to each other if he would move their lips might actually touch "is it done yet? it stings" Jaemin said avoiding eye contact as much as possible

after placing the bandaid  "do you have time for a meal?"

"what?" his ears perked. all of sudden a meal? is he going to offer me meal to restaurant and then tell me I'm fired? , Jaemin's thoughts were hovering him

Jeno gazed up to him. His secretary's eyes widened like something bad happened. It's not like he did something wrong or was it too out of context to ask

"Thank you but  I'm not hungry" but his stomach growled after he declined , his stomach says otherwise

"so is that a yes?"

jaemin awkwardly smiled as a reply

jeno just stared intensely at his secretary eating like there's no tomorrow. Is this the same person saying he wasn't hungry. "about last time..."

Jaemin raised his head up to him replying with a "hm?"

In jeno's case the male's eyes sparkled and the fact jaemin was pouting , finding it cute. "as I was saying I think I need your help again"

his knitted his brows "what do you mean?" he replied while chewing on his food

he takes a deep breath "my mom is inviting us  for a family dinner and it seems like she really likes you ..."

"What!?" He chokes reaching for a glass water "So you're saying I'm going to have to pull that act again?" they have already agreed that after that he won't be involved in his private matters "You planned this all along right? No wonder we ended up in a five star restaurant so you're basically trying to convince me?" well atleast nobody is getting fired today

"That wasn't my first intention—" at first it really wasn't his intention but it just went along the way when he needed to.

I've have known you since highschool it's clear to say your tricks won't work on me. "In your situation it's understandable and the fact I'm your secretary but I don't want to get involved with your private life it could cause to a big misunderstanding" jaemin added

"thank you for the meal I'll see you later Mr.Lee" he bowed before leaving

"you need money since you're I n dept right?"

It made jaemin freeze on spot "Yes why?" he answered unsurely

"I'll pay for it" jeno smirked as his aura changed

pay for it? Does he think everything can be solve with money I need to earn money to pay my loan from my hard work so it'll be worth it.

Jaemin only scoffed  "what are you trying to say?" slightly offended

"Not half of it but all of it. I'll pay your for your dept but..."

but what. just say it already time is ticking

"but sign a contract for me"
