"Stella, when you asked us about Scola, what was the reason behind it all? How and when did you come in contact with these people?" King Radius questioned his daughter, as he, Stella, and Bloom walked through a small crowd of people down the path that had stalls and markets surrounding them. "Did they rather, reach out, or were you in control of coming into contact with them?"

Stella slightly shook her head. "They were actually students a few years younger that us. They were on a fieldtrip studying about fairies"

"And they so happen to be Scolacians?" Radius raised an eyebrow, feeling unconvinced.

Stella nodded her head, looking at Bloom walking beside her. "That's right."

The King looked rather unsettled. After a few people saw two of the royals out the castle, they soon made their way and allowed them to pass, despite Radius not mentioning a word. Earlier, he had requested his guards to keep an eye on the castle and Queen Luna, who was still asleep, just so he and Stella could have some privacy in conversation.

"I'm sorry, Stella. It's just that, I just couldn't shake off this vile feeling off my back. It's too much that I have to keep this to myself and your mother." King Radius said.

"Keep what?" Stella curiously asked her father, who showed a slightly unnerved and uncomfortable expression on his face. "You can tell me."

"Being that you've already mention to have met the Scolacians, they perhaps told you about the rulers of Scola?" King Radius slowly said in a low voice. Stella nodded, feeling eager to know what her father wants to say.

"That they have been the reason to why Scola has been created.."

Stella and Bloom stopped walking just as King Radius stopped right in his tracks as well. He did not continue his sentence.

"Dad?" Stella called out.

"Stella..." Radius slowly turned to face his daughter and Bloom. "Do you...feel that?" He said, in a more unnerved tone.

Stella and Bloom were now quiet as the three of them, and a few other people feet away from them listened and felt their surroundings. Something was...off. There was a slight vibration to the ground, every time Radius or anyone else would look around.

Abruptly, an explosion broke the entire silence and it was soon filled with shrill screams and yells of the people. The citizens who were with them were now panicking and running away from where the explosion had possibly came from. Followed by another explosion, the sound of bricks and rubble caused the ground to shake as the pieces broke into smaller chunks, crushing land as they fell.

Stella looked at Bloom, then at her dad, with worry in her eyes. She and Bloom got ready to transform, but a cry for help and frustration interrupted them. A few castle guards were leading a whole crowd of people away, the opposite from where Stella and Bloom were facing. King Radius grabbed a guard roughly and interrogated him with questions.

"An explosion erupted near the castle! We had to evacuate the citizens immediately!" The guard said, in a desperate voice.

Stella's eyes widened. "What about mom!?"

Bloom and King Radius turned to Stella in complete shock. "We need to find her quick! Dad, go help the rest of the guards in evacuating the people! Bloom and I will go look for mom!" Stella cried out, just as she and Bloom transformed into their Bloomix form.

---

"MOM!" Stella's voice cried out in the near empty castle ruins. She and Bloom flew directly over the rubble, searching for the queen of Solaria desperately. Stella had tears in her eyes by now. She landed on the ground, the sound of her heels clicking on the ground filled the empty silence on the grounds, with Bloom following after her.

"MOM!" Her painful cries were now just echos, with no answer back. "Check under the debris!" Bloom suggested, running after her blonde friend. Their footsteps darted towards the castle's entrance that had been blown to pieces.

After another desperate call from Stella with her already strained voice, they saw someone underneath a large piece of marble that had been destroyed and had fallen from one of the pillars.

"Mom!" Stella immediately recognized that person as her mother, making her way towards the large rubble that had fallen on top of her.

Queen Luna strained her eyes as she weakly opened her eyes to see the sun shine bright into her face. It was soon blocked out by Stella, who had tears streaming down her face. The solar fairy grabbed onto the large piece of fallen marble, and strained herself to pull it up to no avail. Bloom had one look at Queen Luna and her crushed lower body, biting her lip.

"Stella!" Bloom saw Stella struggle lifting up the marble, with her arms at their breaking point. "Bloom..! Quick!"

Grabbing the other edge, Bloom tried with all her might to help Stella lift up the debris that was crushing her mother. But with nothing, they weren't strong enough to lift it and the debris fell back down, crushing the legs and hipbone of Queen Luna once more. She let out a cry in agony and hysteria.

"MOM!" Stella cried. She refused to give up. She refused to leave her mother.

A violent shake on the ground interrupted them, followed by more every second. Stella and Bloom looked up in horror, to see with the blinding light in their faces, they could make out extremely tall figures making their way towards the castle. Soon that was followed by sounds of cackling laughter.

Stella snapped her head back to the helping her mother out of the rubble, scolding and yelling at Bloom to help her. Bloom tried, but she couldn't even make the thing budge anymore.

Queen Luna looked at Stella, blood smeared on her forehead. "Stella. You need to get out of here."

Stella shook her head, droplets of tears fell on broken wood and cement. Bloom felt a sickening drop in her stomach.

"It's too late, Stella. You and Bloom have time to get out of here. They won't get you, if you just go. Now." Queen Luna said, her voice croaked from the pain she felt on her legs, with their bones no doubt broken.

"I WON'T GIVE UP ON YOU!" Stella screamed, her voice cracked at that statement.

Queen Luna narrowed her eyes at Stella. "YOU JUST HAVE TO BE A STUBBORN GIRL, DON'T YOU?! JUST LISTEN TO ME ON THIS ONE FINAL REQUEST!"

Stella shut her eyes tightly, crying and sobbing as she still continuously tried lifting up the heavy rubble. "BLOOM, MAKE HER..!" Queen Luna's attention was now directed at the dragon flame holder.

Bloom felt tears spring up in her eyes. "...I..!" The sharp edges on the debris started to cut through both Bloom and Stella's hands.

"Those things will soon reach us...!"

The sound of another set of footsteps broke the thick atmosphere. King Radius came running towards them, sword in hand.

"Radius!" Luna cried out. "Get the girls out of here, and don't look back!"

"Don't be like that, Luna" Radius said, wielding out his sword, facing the threats that came before them. "This time I'll protect you. And our daughter" He looked at Stella, then at Bloom.

He then took off running, leaping over the debris, and seemingly directly towards the threats.

"Stop!! Don't get near them!!" Luna cried out loud.

"She's right. The last time I got near those damned things, there was a price I had to pay. But today's different. I won't let the same mistake happen again. I won't lose you again, Luna" Radius said to himself, just before he paused and stopped himself just a few meters away from the beast that stood in front of him. He stared up in terror to see the beast staring down at him.

Taking a step back, Radius turned and ran back to where Stella and the Queen were, only to order Bloom to grab Stella.

Stella gasped in shock, only to have her father forcefully grab her arms. Bloom reluctant got up, and with her slightly blood covered hands, she also grabbed Stella by the arms and both of them dragged the blonde away from the castle's entrance, much to Stella's anger and desperation.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Stella cried, and screamed, and kicked, all she could do did nothing, as her father and Bloom had pulled her far enough just to see the beast that Radius was about to face reach up to the castle's entrance. "MOM'S STILL TRAPPED!! HELP HER, GODDAMMIT!!"

Queen Luna shot up and with tears in her eyes, she let out a cry, "STELLA..!!"

Stella watched as her mother was left behind, alone, and vulnerable.

"I LOVE YOU, DO YOU HEAR ME?!" Queen Luna screamed out to her daughter. "PROMISE ME...!"

"PROMISE ME YOU WILL NOT DIE!!!"

Laughter filled the room, with Queen Luna and King Radius smiling at their newborn daughter. Stella's eyes were blue as the sea as she giggled inside her crib. The window was shining bright with Solaria sun shining through. A figure stood far in the distant.

As the tears finally dripped down her face, Queen Luna shakily covered her mouth, whimpering and silently crying to herself.

"..Stay....alive.."

Stella gasped in horror just as the beast grabbed hold of the rubble with ease. It raised it up, and in a matter of seconds, it slammed the rubble back down, with droplets of blood splattering everywhere.

With its mouth, it pulled out the limp and mangled body of her mother, causing Stella to pull away from King Radius and Bloom.

"MOM!!" She was held back by the two, only to see the giant devour her mother in seconds.

It was happening all to soon.

Tears were pouring down nonstop. Stella finally gave in and her knees gave up on her weight as she fell on the ground, tears dripping on the grass they stood on.
