Marala village, a small village that is located at a small distance from the city of Gujrat and one of the most beautiful and peaceful villages in Punjab. Endless fields of wheats, valleys, plethora of sunflowers, beautiful lush green fields, crystal clear sky and deep blue river. It was like you were living inside a fairytale book.

In the middle of a vast valley, there was a haveli, and it was called The Raqs Haveli.

Raqs meant dance and the reason why is because from a very young age the women of the house teaches traditional dances and they have been doing it for decades. They believe that dance shapes who you are and how do you feel. You can convey your feelings through dance with its flow and rhythm. That's why almost every woman of the house has such a good posture and the grace in their body comes naturally.

Yalda was no different. Her mother taught her kathak and other dances. She loves dancing and painting, these two are her passion. When you can't convey what's inside your heart your body shows you the way. The way it feels and the way it should be conveyed. It tells you the unspoken abs when the familiar strings of familiar chords falls into her ears, it's as if she goes back to her childhood.

Her father was the ruler of the village, thus this meant she just couldn't do whatever the hell she wanted always. He has always been an absent father in her life. Her mother was always busy with her and her big brother who was merely 3 years older than her. Dhir Hasan. An excellent older brother who was her anchor. She used to go and play hide and seek when she was little with him. Some boys don't like playing girly games because it looks odd to them but she doesn't remember one single moment when he denied her of anything.

There was times when they would fight but then he will make it up even though sometimes it was her fault. Their mother was a quite person who loved them both dearly. Her world used to revolve her brother and mother. Her father Mahendra Hasan would always be out of the town for business. They were not crazy rich, but they were well off.

Slowly she went from a baby to a teenager and then slowly just as she was about to celebrate her 19th birthday, the most beautifully destructive day came upon her, disrupting her whole life.

5 years ago, 2nd February, 2015. (Day 1)

Her bare feet adorned with payal was clinking as she ran, her pearly white teeth showing as she laughed loudly, her laughter was so contagious that the boy running along her behind the wailing pet was also laughing. Her lips curved into one of the most beautiful smile. She has been told she had a smile that could melt anyone. The joda she was wearing was a bit heavy but she was used to this. The black color making her bright brownish color skin glow as the golden hour was setting. Her waist length black hair pulled up in a soft braid that was swaying from left to right as she ran with carefreeness that she looked like a wild little woman chasing behind a pack of wolf with a smile on her face.

The boy beside her was tired as he slowed down, panting slightly. Nobody could win against this girl! He grinned seeing his younger sister throughoutly enjoying her day. She was always someone who could turn his dark days into a bright and happy one. She is his dove.

"Chotti rukh ja!! Mera dam khatam hogaya." He laid down on the lush green grass and closed his eyes. His ears hearing the sound of her anklet as she came closer as she copied him. He didn't said anything as he subtly smiled. She unconsciously copies whatever he does. From the way he speaks to the way he addresses some people.

"Keya bhai!! Itna toh sirf bhaga hai baas." She whined.

He chuckled as the silence fell upon them. The kind of silence that comes after a peaceful day. The kind of silence that makes a room in your heart forever.

"Tu toh bari ho gayi hai. Kuch din baad Mujhe chod kar chale jayegi haina?" He asked teasingly.

She made a face and pouted.

"Kabhi nahi!! Mein aur apko chodunga?! Huh keep dreaming."

As they both laid there, they both saw a chopper flying over them. It was black matte and there was a sign she couldn't read. It was relatively flying low so she figured out this will land somewhere here soon.

"Kaun hai isme?" Her brother asked, staring at the retreating scene of that thing.

Her eyes lingered as she mumbled something softly, "pata nahi."

But for some unknown reason her chest was getting heavier, the peaceful silence now almost fading and the feeling was as if it was the silence before the storm.

That Evening:

She and her brother entered the road that would lead to their haveli. They were walking side by side. The sunset that caused a hue of red and yellow falling over them like the earth spreaded a red blanket over them. They were laughing and talking. The road was covered with huge trees from each side. Their haveli was a little far away from the town so they loved walking here. It was peaceful.

When the haveli came into their sight they both slowed down. Dozens of black cars with tinted glasses were outside the road. Standing orderly. Some were SUV, jeeps and cars she didn't knew the name of. They both looked at each other and frowned. Sure they had security in their house but it was not to this extreme measure.

There were some guards outside with guns and all, and if anyone ever sees them like this they are going to think some sort of celebrity is here.

A guard stopped them. Yalda craned her head up and glanced at him. Gulping at the sight of the huge ass monster looking guy. She only reached till his stomach and she chuckled internally pathetically about how she flexed about her height all these time. Mera izzat ki toh dhachiya uud jaye ga.

She blinked her eyes and chuckled forcefully, her brother following her lead, and in a minute they both were comically chuckling with each other while the guard stood there staring at them like he was watching a lion kiss a bat. You see how pathetic that sound? Yeah, his facial expression made them feel like that.

She stopped and it was as if suddenly she remembered that the house they are guarding is actually her house and here she is the one who was acting like a stranger while this guard stood here like he has been here doing this job for years.

"Hamara rasta chode. Hum is haveli ki beti hai." She said boosting a bit.

"Where's the proof?" He asked, his voice gruff and he sounded like he would rather go and die then stand here and talk to her.

"Proof?! Keya?! Oye bhaisab," she huffed as she aggressively moved her hands here and there trying to prove her point. "Is ghar mein jo aadmi hai na, woh mera abba hai. So move and let us in!!" She screamed the last past, exhausted. It was like she was talking with a brick wall.

Her brother laughed a little and then softly smiled. He has always been a kind and gentle soul. After he talked with the guards a little bit the guards nodded and let them in. Yalda showed her tongue to the huge man and ran inside with her brother.

As soon as she entered the room, the chatter calmed down. Suddenly it was all silence. She froze as soon as she saw what was in front of her. Her abba was sitting in his place as usual. He was dressed up just as he would any other day, but the look in his eyes and face and the way his proud posture was not there made her furrow her eyebrows. A silent gasp left her mouth as she looked around the room. The living room was huge and it screamed minimalism. But it was graceful and homely.

But what surprised her was the men who were sitting opposite her abba. Two men. She could only see their backs because she was standing behind them. But just by looking at their back she could tell they were powerful and important.

They gave off that vibe which made people automatically respect and fear you. One of them had pepper white hair, he was wearing a black suit. He looked like the elder one because god damn, she couldn't take her eyes off of the other ones back. It's just not that broad shoulder, slick black hair that was cut to perfection caught her eyes. It was just the way he was sitting there like a regal. She could see his thick fingers that was drumming the couch handle he was sitting on. The expensive Rolex on his face wrist, the what-looked-like-diamond bracelet that sat on his wrist, and the black ink on the side of his middle finger was what caught her eyes.

Her abba's gaze fell on her and his brother and he brightened up as he stood up and forwarded his hands, and she instinctively started walking toward him. Her steps steady anything but the way her heart was racing. The sound of her payal echoing around them. The smell of a heavy cologne hit her nostrils and as much as she wanted she kept her eyes trained on her father as she walked past the seated guests.

She wrapped her hands around her fathers hands as she stood straight against him. His hand covering half of her body. She could feel their stare. Or should she feel one heavy stare, but she didn't tired to look at them.

"Yeh hai mera beta,Dhir Hasan. My eldest," her baba paused as Dhir passed salam and a gentle smile with a nod of his head toward the guests. The older man smiled slightly and nodded his head back after replying to his salam. However she didn't heard anything from the brute sitting beside him other than a quite reply to his salam.

"Yeh hai meri beti, mera akhri aulad, Yalda Hasan."

It was only then that she turned around to face them. Why would she look desperate even if she was actually, I mean she wanted to see his face. It was as if the time slowed down as she came face to face with what she would describe as only what she would read on books about. Her eyes went to the left first as she looked at the old man first, pepper salt hair, dark green eyes, and an posture she can appreciate. He looked powerful and someone who knows. He looked interesting and intellectual. She said a soft salam.

Her eyes deliberately slowed down when she moved her gaze from the old one to the man who struck her interest. The one sitting just opposite her abba and her standing from.

Her breathe stuck inside her lungs when she laid her eyes upon him for the first time. It was as if time stood still as their eyes clashed against each other. The sounds at the back fading away, she could feel her heartbeat rise as goosebumps appeared on her whole body. She swallowed quietly.

"Assalamu alaikum." Her voice rang through the hall as it was pin drop silence.

"Wallaikum assalam." His voice was so deep but enchanting. It sounded powerful and one of those voice which will force you to look their way. It was husky, straight with no hesitation in their tone.

It was as if the lord has blessed with everything one can ever imagine. His black sleek hair, his fair complexion that was a striking contrast with his light pink plump lips and the stubble he had only topped his looks. And his eyes! It was green with a hint of hazel. His thick eyelashes that made his eyes look dreamy but the look he had enhanced his rough features. His face was blank as he didn't reply to her father.

His eyes assessed the girl who was standing in front of him at the moment. From her long thick black hair that was very long, to her eyes that was in a shade of color light brown with thick curly eyelashes. The girl looked like a forbidden fruit to him. She had an oval shape face, not long and full of bone as he was used to seeing. His eyes went toward her lips as they were coated with a dark red lipstick and unknowingly his jaw clenched.

His eyes went from her eyes to her mouth to her slightly exposed cleavage due to the top that ended just above her naval. Showcasing her sexy midriff slightly. He noticed how she had some fat there on her belly that only made her look more irresistible. She was thick slim. Her small waist and ample amount of flesh that she had on her backside earned her extra point. She was tall, not taller than him but tall in general.

Her face had slight makeup and the bangles on her hands that clanked together as she moved her hands were melodic. Her nose pin gave her a look of exotic beauty. She was a rare beauty, a beauty that is hard to find and somehow they are simple but you just can't take your eyes off of these kind of beauties.

He stood up and her head craned toward him, he was very tall. And suddenly her own self flexing her height to others came to her mind. She made a face, well karma's a bitch.

Did you thought you are the only tall person in this world Yalda?

"Yeh hamare khas mehman hai Yalda," her father looked at her warning present in his eyes, as her heart sank. Did he thought her incapable of taking care of herself in front of his khas mehman? Wait, she knows the answer already.

"Khayal rakhna hai tumhe hmm?" He asked and she halfheartedly nodded. She glanced at the man to see his eyes already trained upon her, she frowned and glared at him when her father turned toward his father to talk.

His eyes remained like before but it flashed with displeasure and he glared back. She looked like a little mouse in front of him. Afraid of his father but thinking she can intimidate him. Huh pathetic!

"Yalda chalo jao room mein apni." Her brother's soft voice pulled her out of their glaring session. And even though she pulled her eyes off he didn't. He didn't even for once broke the eye contact with her and it was staring to make her feel flustered and scared.

His dominating personality and the fearless persona he was showing was making her feel weird in her stomach, her father looked at him while he was staring at her. She gulped seeing the interaction and she expected him to look away. But he didn't. He fucking didn't. How shameless!

A soft hand pulled her up with the owner as her eyes locked with her brother's gentle demeanor and eyes and she smiled softly. Why was she getting worked up?

She started walking behind him, the feeling of holes that was drilling into her back was felt but she didn't turned toward it to acknowledge him. He can go and die for all she cares.

He's just a guest anyway, few days more and he'll be out of her life for forever.

Fate smiled from upstairs seeing their interaction and it began pulling its strings. When someone is written in your destiny no one can stop them from being in your life. It was as if the red knot was tied thousands of years before. It was only a matter of time that they will find themselves entangled into this game of fate and destiny. And even if they decide to fight against it, they should know Allah's plan and what he has written for you is the greatest of all players and the master of fate.

Present:

That was the first time they met. From the first time she laid her eyes upon him, she know he will be the one to create havoc in her life.

Her ingenuous heart never listened to her. It only listened to itself no matter what. Maybe that was what got her into this situation.

Her eyes started at his beautiful green eyes, much like their son. So much familiarity, she often thought of how Feroz looks like a carbon copy of his father. And that makes her wonder will he only turn out to be like him when he grows up? She will not let that happen, she will bring him up to be one of the most gentle, loving and understanding person she can. She will not let them know of his existence.

He still wanted her only for his carnal desires. As he did before.

The sides of her lips slowly pulled upward into a smile. Her body remained unmoved as his grip didn't flattered nor tightened. He felt her body go cold and numb. She was not responding as she smiled that looked more of a...... something he didn't know.

"Pata hai, kabhi bhi koi bhi bhulne na dΓa ki..." she removed his arms and stood at a distance where she can see him.

"Meri shohar Mujhe hamare nikkah ki ek hafte ki andar chod ke chala gaya." His eyes widened and he stood there staring at her.

"Nahi karni thi nikkah toh mein tha na? Mujhe ek dafa bol dete. Kabhi kisi ka bojh na banni thi mujhe." She whispered, a tear gliding down her cheeks as his heart clenched.

"5 saal mein bohot kuch badal gaya, mein, aap, mera dil. Maine toh jene ki wajah kho diya tha. Par there are moments where I pity you. You don't even know the whole truth. But I had to become strong, pata hai kiu?"

Now or never,

"Keya Karu kisika Ammi jo ban gaya tha, toh us din se apni liye nahi, mere beta ke liye jina sikha tha."

His heart stilled, his eyes seemed frozen as he stared at her eyes, searching for lie. His hitched breath, the disbelief flashing in his eyes made her smile. He was searching for the truth.

Her eyes hardened as she harshly as he stared at her, and she thinks it was the longest he was talking time possessing what has been said. He looked like he was not here mentally. She wiped her tears off, her eyes ignoring the shake in his hands.

"Woh mera beta hai, and I will shield him with my life."

"What do you me-" she cut him off, She started walking away, her hands brushing past his, and yet he stilled remained in his place. Eyes staring ahead when he heard her footsteps fading away.

He took a deep breath and turned around, it was as if the realization came crashing down on him hard. His ear was buzzing and there was something inside his heart, the thing that kept him alive, he realized his heartbeat was crazy.

He saw her fading figure running downstairs, she was trying to wear a shirt but that was none of his concern now.

His paced fastened as he started walking behind him, his hard string footsteps seemed angry as he felt an adrenaline rush go through his body. His mind blocking all the unnecessary thoughts and noises as if focused on the thing she just said and left, and what truth?!

Yalda sprinted when she reached the ground floor, and it was as if her day couldn't get any more unfortunate, his whole fucking family was sitting there in the dining table.

His mother looked up from her plate when she heard her. A furrow on her eyebrows as she assessed her and somewhat something like concern flared into her eyes. It was then she realized she was sobbing silently and her dressing was also messy. Seeing their mother's attention not on them anymore all of his brothers looked up and they all stood up. Their eyes widened and confused.

Great, now she was standing in front of everyone with a wrapped skirt, oversized shirt, messy and wet hair and her sobbing face. She breathed deeply and started running when her ears picked up the heavy footsteps. From the way he was almost running behind her, she was sure he won't hesitate to reveal this to them. He was not in his right state of mind. And she was proven right when,

"YALDA!!" His shout echoed in the hall as she flinched looking at everyone who now was standing up and facing them with a frown.

She couldn't concentrate anymore because a harsh grip on her forearm threw her off as the said person pulled her back harshly against him, both of his hands gripping her shoulders tightly as he pulled her closer. The warmth of his chest on hers as he wrapped his arms snaked around her stomach and he pushed her on the walls.

She gasped and her horrific eyes found the almost similar ones of his family members. But that was not what scared her, what scared her was the way he was looking at her. His red trimmed eyes, his clenched jaw, the vein throbbing on his neck, his broad shoulders stiffed and his provocative demeanor, made her heart still.

What has she done?! The hell is wrong with her?!

"Repeat what you said. Now!" He shouted, his mind not working anymore as imaginations were clouding his mind. All he could see was red and think and focus on her. Rest of the world can go lit themselves in fire.

Yalda flinched at his tone and she looked at everyone and stared wiggling in his arms.

"Chode!! Saab dekh raha hai!" She whispered yelled, tears running down freely. He cupped her chin roughly as she winced from the harshness. Their deep breaths mingling with each other. He looked like a wounded lion, the man in front of him was completely something else.

If what she believed till now was the truth then why was he acting like this? Could it be possible.... They both don't know the actual..truth?

"Yazdaan! Chodo usse keya kar rahe ho!!" A warning from his mother fell on deaf ear as his breathing started getting heavy. His father's warning glare, his brother's warning tone and the way they surrounded him, the way his sister started pulling his hand, screaming and threatening, he was just this close to loosing his remaining brain cells and mind if they don't stop.

"Lala chode usk-" Yazdaan cut off Alzad and Azlad backed away. His lala has always been calm and composed so for him to see how angry and in rage he is at the moment meant it was something big. The woman captivated in his arms looked scared and fearful. But it was the kind of fear you knew was not because of the man but what he's capable of doing. She knew what he's capable of doing and she was scared of that. Yazdaan pointed his fingers at him, his eyes harsh and dead serious. The anger clearly written on his face had everyone back away a little. But they knew he will never hurt her, it was just his anger was going Hayware.

"MERE BIWI SE MUJHE KAISE BAAT KARNA CHAIYE WOH MAAT CIKHAO TUM!!"

And with this We're close to the climax!!! It's gonna get interesting and I will update MAAF KARDO tonight inshallah
