"Thank you so much Haniya!!! Tumne toh meri
jaan bacha di." She said shaking her hands with the shop owner who was also a very close friend of her best friend. And by close friend she meant bhabi.

"Don't worry Warda." Haniya nodded and soon she left the boutique.

She came out of the shop to see the gentleman from earlier talking with someone on the phone. When he noticed her, he came forward and grabbed her bag from her hands. She blushed and looked down following him to see if he's a safe hand to give her dress.

She doesn't trust anyone with her dresses and perfumes.

"Ok email me the rest of the details." He said and then gestured her to sit inside. She nodded and went to sit down.

The sky was pretty when they were coming here but now it seems like the sky is going to cry soon. The black clouds started filling out the spaces where sun lights were. And she wondered how long it would eventually take to start pouring.

Her thoughts were cut off when the driver seat opened and he sat inside. His warm scent filling the spaces of the car and she was almost on the verge of asking him the name of his cologne.

Starting the car he reversed the car and soon they were on the highway. All these while she had to literally fight herself to look ahead, and not to stare at the man beside her like a shameless person.

I mean you can't blame her when he looked so hot when driving and the fact that he was using just one hand to drive!! Wallah!!

"Umm can I turn on some music?" She asked, hesitation clearly displaying by the way she was clenching her small fists.

Mir stifled a smile and hummed.

Her eyes lit up and she turned on the Bluetooth. Connecting with her phone she played her go-to playlist. Her most favorite one.

Soon Drake's new album was blasting through the speakers and she resisted the urge to bob her head and do some weird gestures that she usually does.

Soon the rhythmic sound of rains came down pouring onto the car roof, making the environment too soft for them. The whether was very romantic and she just wanted to smack herself on the wall. The man beside him was driving swiftly.

"Thank you." Her soft melodic voice with a hint of smile, reached his ears and he felt his heart twitch at how innocent she sounded. He took a glance at the girl sitting beside him with a petite frame and smiled. Her hair was blocking the view but he could tell she was shy.

"No need to thank me, may I ask what is your name miss?" His deep voice send a shiver down her spine. It was deep and authority was ozzing from his voice.

"I-Umm Warda Khan."

He hummed and she blushed at how deep it sounded.

Suddenly the car stopped and she turned her head toward him to see him trying to get it start.

"Blo... The car broke down." He quickly realized he was about to curse and turned it around. How come this car broke down just when they were about to enter the highway?

"Woh I'll call someone they'll send someone here." She was about to call her mother when she realized that the phone was dead. So much for playing games for hours and hours.

He looked at her expectedly, but when he saw her laughing nervously he raised an eyebrow.

"What happened?"

"Woh woh why do I need to call!! You have a phone right? Go ahead and call your pehelban!" She shrieked not admitted that her phone was dead.

He had a confused face and judging by his facial expression she was sure he was contemplating her mental health state.

"My phone don't have charge." He admitted truthfully, and even he was surprised to see him explaining something to her.

He lost his mind.

"Chiiii!! How can you be so irresponsible?!" She made a gagging face and he raised his eyebrows on the audacity.

"Ok fine stop taunting me! Let's go ahead and walk maybe we'll find someone here to help." She said and got down.

He signed but got down anyway. And when he came beside her to walk she was once again reminded of how tall he actually is. She was pretty tall to but his one is towering.

Waking side by side, the rain that now turned into drizzle seemed to make things more chilly. She was on the verge of being frozen.

Just when she thought it was the end, a sudden warmth engulfed her entire form and she startled looked up at the man walking beside her. He gave her his jacket.

She blushed and the flipped off her hair dramatically.

It was looking dark and she was scared. No matter how loud and bold she is, darkness scares her like no other. She was slightly shivering.

"You know you can walk beside me if you are scared. No need to walk that fast." He said in a casual manner.

She whirled around and glared at him.

"I'm not waking fast." She huffed folding her arms under her chest.

"Si, you're running." He nodded as if that was one of the most easiest thing in the world to figure out.

But he didn't knew Warda yet. When she's in a foul mood she's gonna roast you alive.

She turned around and charged at him, her eyes throwing fireballs at him. Just when she was about to punch him in his chest, he grabbed her small fists in his big ones and pulled her toward him. He turned her around so that her back rested against his chest.

Maybe it was her shaking or the body behind him shaking that snapped her once again. This battamez aadmi was laughing at her. Trashing against his hold came out to be futile because he was way powerful than him in every aspect.

"Choro!!nahi toh.." She hissed. Getting angrier second by second.

He smirked and leaned down to her ear level and his smirk widened when she felt her shiver. She pouted angrily and her eyes was full of tears. Angry tears.

He never knew the prim and proper girl was hiding such a wild cat under her facade.

Wild cat suited her personality, calm when it's not disturbed but if you poke her she try to scratch you with that soft fur claws.

"Aur nahi toh keya?"

His voice deep and masculine. The arms around her made her realize how strongly built he was. He was casually holding her but it seemed to her that he was crushing her.

It felt weirdly safe and warm?!

What the heck?!

They were too lost into their own world to notice that they have moved away from the road to a deserted one. And almost 10 people standing before them.

But Shehzad was known to be quick witted and a intelligent for nothing. As soon as he noticed them he whirled around and hided Warda behind him. He was not letting her come out as he stood straight as a pole.

All the humor and emotions getting erased from his face in a split second and the ruthless face coming back with full force. He didn't even knew he was smiling until he realized.

"KEYA KAAR RAHE HO TUM DONO?!" An elderly looking man screamed at them. His eyes narrowed and the way he was standing told him that he was the main person between them.

They blocked their path and surrounded them.

Shehzad kept quite. He was observed them and their eyes. His stance not wavering for once and his face giving away nothing.

Not getting an answer infuriates the old man even more as he took a step closer.

Just as he was about to speak Warda peeked her head out and widened her eyes comically seeing people with knifes and guns standing before them.

But she couldn't move anything else as the man of steel before her was gripping her hands tightly.

"Keya rishta hai tum dono ka?" The man asked. His accusing glare was slowly making him angry.

"That's none of your concern." Came his cold reply.

The voice sounded so foreign to Warda who thought he sounded warm all the time. The voice was frighteningly cold and dangerous.

"English mein baat maat kaar baadtameez!! Yeh ilaka mera hai Aur yaha koi bhi gaandi harlate nahi mana jaiga!!" He shouted and signaled one of his men to grab him.

He glared at the man so hard that the young man was forced to stop and hesitate.

"We are friends now let us go." He said calmly.

"Yaha koi friendships itna kharaap nahi lagta. Mujhe paata hai tum dono ashik ho!! " He screamed.

"Hame chod de." A meek voice sounded and his hold tightened on her. For the first time in his life he was somewhat disturbed about a situation. He felt a rush of protectiveness toward the girl who was clutching his shirt in her little fists.

"Wohhh accha?! Kiu? Taki tum dono bhaag sako?" He taunted and she felt tears prickling in her eyes.

"No let us go. You will regret ever blocking my path if you don't let us go now. You don't know who I am and what I can do to you all."

His tone successfully sent chills down everyone's spine but seeing just both of them without any protection the man didn't backed down. The man indeed looked very powerful and someone who has high connections but his ego got in his way.

"Ok. But only you can go, the girl will stay with us." He said knowing he will never agree.

And he was right when for the first time ever since he saw them, he saw a hint of anger in his eyes. The anger was too prominent not to notice and even though he was scared he held his ground.

"Nahi toh le ja sakti ho lekin usse nikkah karna hoga. Ya toh tumhare sath," looking into his furious face the old man continued, " ya phir hamare bohot ladke hai yaha."
