Luca and Tracy were still working on their invention for our communication so we would decide on a date when they had a good enough for use prototype.

..•~Eli POV~•..

Three ciphers left, one coffin, two perfumes, zero owls, one elbow pad, two of us injured, one chaired, two decoding and one kiting upwards from the right side of the church.

"Eli!! I'm sorry, get out of here!"

I failed my calibration snapping out of my autopilot like mode of thinking. When I felt my heart  beating abnormally fast I knew it was already too late to leave. Naib kited into my cipher again, he never changes does he? The same familiar boy with a sack tied on his neck ran after Naib before taking notice of me and chasing me instead.

Naib- "The hunter has changed targets beware!"

Vera- "Don't move I'm coming!"

Eli- "Focus on decoding!"

I ran the opposite direction of Naib who was going to the walls close to the shack, a pretty good route, when it actually has all the pallets that is. The first one to kite dropped the majority of the pallets early and Robbie destroyed most of them. Right now I would only be able to take one more hit since I had body blocked after rescuing Vera.

Barely making it behind a wall I avoided Robbie's swing and ran to the walls in front of me beginning to push one so it would be ready to fall next time I touched it. I froze when hearing the sound of air being vacuumed inwards, the resentful souls. without looking behind me I pulled myself to the right behind the second wall hoping it wouldn't hit me. Thankfully it didn't but that sudden movement of mine must have opened up the wound on my back, the adrenaline was making the pain manageable enough for now but I'd need help back to the manor. I looped Robbie around the weak brick walls dropping the one I had prepared from earlier on him when he was getting too close. I didn't really like doing that but I didn't have any other resources right now.

"Sorry Robbie! "

"Don't worry mister! I'm glad you are lively again you're always so gloomy lately!

Gloomy huh?  The thought of  the past two months saddened me a bit but the adrenaline didn't  let me think about that for too long, I seriously had to to thank it for keeping my mind off that stuff.

"Cipher machine decoding 38%"

"Come on keep it up!"

Last cipher, Vera and Aesop would decode it in no time and Naib would most likely go wait at the exit or come to me and help out a bit. I crossed over to the sturdier gray wall to the left, the only pallet in this area was still there if everything went right I should be able to buy enough time.

"Focus on decoding"

I would most likely be fine on my own so Naib wouldn't have to help me, there was no need for him to waste time coming all the way here. I looped around the walls trying to trick Robbie into hitting the pallet so I could drop it but he wouldn't badge, he tried to get me with a soul and I tripped over my feet falling onto the pallet trying to dodge it. Robbie took his chance to swing his axe, if there was anything more terrifying than this I don't know what it would be.

"Cipher machine primed!"

Just in time, Robbie hit my shoulder in an attempt to not hurt me too much and the siren went off allowing me to get up again, stun him with the pallet and get the hell out of there. I knew it was a matter of time before I went down again, I wouldn't escape but the other's would have enough time to leave.

I went into the church as my my heart beat ever so loudly complemented by my shaking gasps, jumping the from the back window of the church all I saw in the place of the rundown shack was only blue with a purple hue behind it. another soul. Just when Brooke had mustered up enough energy too. I shut my mouth and tried to resist some of the force with my arm but it wasn't like it would do much, in the end I still flung back into the window hitting my back yet again.

I thought that Robbie would pick me up and chair me but to my surprise as I was hanging on the window shoulders I saw black clay forming on me. Aesop resurrected me. After I came back to the manor whenever I'd spectate any match with him in it he wouldn't try to cooperate much and would never embalm anyone but himself anymore, so why did he just save me?
