"my name is komi shousuke. nice to meet you."

here we are again, at the scene where we let off. komi seemed to have spoken just now in front of both l/n and hitomi.

'he sounds refreshing,' they thought.

l/n hadn't expected komi to speak up so among the two, they were the most surprised. hitomi, on the other hand, had no idea he was the quiet type so her face stayed neutral. that was, until a smirk once again graced the features of her face.

"so you're into quiet guys, huh?"

"hitomi, what are you talking about--"

"oh, you know exactly what i'm talking about."

"wha-? no, i don't--"

she then said in a sing-song manner, "oh, innocent shousuke-kun... don't you realize it?~ my dear n/n here has a little interest in you~ yes, that's righ--"

l/n abruptly placed a hand over hitomi's mouth, silencing her. an awkward silence fills the air; the only sounds being heard were the school bells ringing and the muffled voice coming from hitomi's covered mouth.

"awh, look at what you did, hitomi! we missed lunch!"

"hey, at least i know who you like now!"

"wha-- hey!"

it was dismissal time, and l/n couldn't stop thinking about what hitomi said to them.

'who does she think she is? assuming who I have an interest in. how bold of her to-'

l/n wasn't watching wherever they were going and ended up bumping into someone. feeling everyone's stares at them, they immediately knew who they bumped into. 'are you kidding me-'

"oh, hi there, komi-san. i'm sorry i bumped into you, i was just thinking of some things--"

"...it's fine."

"oh."

bearing a calm expression, komi walks past l/n as they grab their things in a hurried manner since they had to pick up their sister from school.

instead of doing their homework, l/n decides to watch the last few episodes of Assassination Classroom [belongs to Yusei Matsui]. they were just crying over koro-sensei's death but they heard their parents' car outside. they immediately turned the tv off then ran upstairs to start on their homework. 

"we're home!," their parents notified their children before going in. their sister ran downstairs excitedly and greeted their parents. l/n followed shortly after and went back upstairs to do their homework. 2 hours into doing her homework, they leaned into their chair and sighed. they checked the time. 10 o'clock in the evening. "maybe i should stop here and continue tomorrow," they sighed to themself. l/n let herself fall into their bed and slowly drifted to sleep.
