"g𝗼𝗼𝗱 m𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 me!"

l/n y/n. they're the type of person who would greet themself whenever they'd wake up in the morning. before they start their day, they like to energize themself with positive thoughts every morning. 

l/n goes off to start their day by rolling around their bed before taking a bath. after a few minutes of bathing and changing into their uniform, they go down to eat with their family. then, they go back upstairs to their room to brush their teeth. they walk towards the genkan and puts on their shoes; only then can they bid their parents goodbye.

they usually walk to school since both their parents have work and they have a younger sister that needs to be taken to school by car. they didn't want to be the cause of her parents going late for work so they told their parents they'd walk.

it's another day at kisai high school and as always, boys would surround l/n with compliments, not that they were comfortable with the suffocating space. they awkwardly raised a hand, waved, smiled then walked away.

they walk over to the genkan and opened their shoe locker. they takes out their uwabaki and put them on (they took off their outdoor shoes, of course). they picked up her bag and saw Tadano Hitomi, their best friend.

"good morning, n/n!"

"oh, good morning, hitomi. how are you?," they said with a smile. "oh, i'm doing great. the thing is, i can't seem to remember where i put the candy you gave to me yesterday."

it is now lunch time, and hitomi went to their usual place (the school gardens) earlier since l/n had to bring the notebooks to their chemistry teacher who was in the faculty room. on their way there, they noticed a huge crowd peeking into the cafeteria door. out of pure curiosity, they pushed themself through the crowd while trying to balance the notebooks. once they reached through, they met the eyes of a ravenette with dark purple eyes. they haven't seen him before but they thought they'd try to introduce themself and show him around.

"i'm l/n y/n. what's your name?"

there was no response to the introduction and the mood turned tense with anticipation. 'maybe he's shy? Or maybe he doesn't really speak much? Yeah, that's it.,' was all they thought so they understood.

"would you like a tour of the school?," they asked. still no answer. they sighed, "you know what? i'll just give you one. come on, then. i'll just drop these notebooks off at the faculty room then we'll start the tour."

"...And yeah, that's the entire school! hopefully we didn't miss lunch break... ugh, it would totally suck if we did..." they dragged komi to the school garden where hitomi was waiting on a bench with both their lunches, boredom and hunger written all over her face. when she spotted l/n, her face lit up.

"N/N!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! I WAS WAITING HERE FOR YOU AND YOU SHOWED UP LA---" she paused. she then had a smirk on her face saying, "who's the new guy?"

"his name is- uhh--"

"my name is komi shousuke. nice to meet you."
