Chapter 6: A Tour Of The Death's Domain (3)

Two Gods were being killed by another party on the same day.

"Normally, Gods cannot die. But we can enter a state called 'temporary death' when the forces are enough to make our body stopped working."

Zarvan hissed. He then took a deep breath before continued to speak.

"It is not easy to make a God die temporarily. But somehow, on that day, a group from the Demonic Race managed to make a God die, eternally."

The group from the Demonic Race had broken into the Divine Realm somehow. They were attacking the Gods, the Exceptions,... everyone in the Divine Realm. Zarvan's master, the previous God of Time, had been stabbed right in the heart, in order to protect Zarvan and the others.

His master's soul shattered into pieces right in front of Zarvan's face.

Zarvan was also been stabbed after that. But maybe because he wasn't being stabbed by the same person, his soul managed to stay intact, but he had died temporarily. Fortunately

"After that incident, my soul was sent to Alberu Crossman's body."

In order to kept his soul stable and let it regenerated by itself, the Gods had to sent his soul into a mortal's body. That also meant that Zarvan couldn't use his divine power freely when he was in that body. Because it would cause the world became more unbalance.

Kim Rok Soo covered up his mouth and let out a groan after hearing that. That wasn't a very pleasant story. It must have been awful to see his guardian die in front of his face. Both Kim Rok Soo and Cale Henituse knew how that felt.

Seeing your loved ones die is not some good memories at all.

"We still can't figured out how those bastards managed to kill a God. But we will definitely killed them if we see them again."

That Demonic Races group had escaped. Kim Rok Soo could see the furiousness in Zarvan's eyes. He must have been really close to the previous God of Time.

"... What, when, and how?"

What exactly is the Demonic Races? When did Zarvan became Alberu Crossman? And how was this connected to the White Star?

Kim Rok Soo didn't say that out loud because he had a feeling that Zarvan could understand him.

"I became Alberu Crossman at the same time you were born as both Kim Rok Soo and Cale Henituse. I'm also the one who is responsible for reseting the time at our world. In the end, I also lived as Alberu Crossman twice."

Zarvan let out a mockery chuckle. Even though he had lived as Alberu Crossman for the second time, he couldn't do anything different. Because of, again, the balance of the world.

"For the Demonic Races and the White Star part, we will have to spend another day. It's a long topic. And also, I'm running out of time."

"Ah..."

Zarvan then looked at the tall pile of paper that had been sitting in the corner of the room. Kim Rok Soo immediately realized that he had paperworks to do. It seemed like Zarvan had purposely ignored his work for a while.

"Beside, Azazel, it's almost time both of your subordinates come back. You should make this tour faster. I think they will be very happy to see our new member."

Kim Rok Soo wondered who were Azazel's subordinates. Why did Zarvan said that they would be happy to see him?

Were they someone Kim Rok Soo knew?

"Yeah, you're right. We'd better get going. See you later, then."

"Ah, wait."

Just as Azazel and Kim Rok Soo were about to stand up, Zarvan held them back. The God of Time then approached Kim Rok Soo.

"Kim Rok Soo, we will be working together for a while. I hope that we can get along. Let's try our best to save our world."

Zarvan held Kim Rok Soo's hands. His voice doesn't sound fictitious at all. Kim Rok Soo could feel the sincerity in the Time's words.

"Of course, my lord."

'I was planning to do that anyway.'

Kim Rok Soo was going to get revenged for him and his family. He had already gotten a vision about what to do in his head.

'I'll get my slacker life after that.'

Kim Rok Soo had decided to live leisurely after everything had been solved.

"... Just call me Zarvan."

He quickly let go of Rok Soo's hands. It wasn't necessary to call him so formally. Even if he was a God, Kim Rok Soo and Zarvan had become 'comrades' from the moment they decided to work together. And also because Zarvan didn't like being called a lord.

'Comrades, huh...'

Kim Rok Soo guessed that was true. Zarvan wasn't the crown prince Alberu Crossman of the Roan Kingdom at that moment, and Kim Rok Soo was not Cale Henituse of the Henituse territory anymore. The Gods also treated him equally as he was also one of them.

Kim Rok Soo nod his head to tell that he understood what Zarvan had said.

"I'm glad that you understand. Then of you go. I'll see you in a while."

Zarvan pushed the two outside of his room and shut the door.

'... He's really in a rush.'

Kim Rok Soo's felt Zarvan was a little childish, putting his work aside like that. Never he would have thought that the Time had this side. Kim Rok Soo felt weird after he had met and talked directly to Zarvan for the third time.

"We shouldn't bother him anymore. Let's continue our tour, shall we?"

Kim Rok Soo nod his head. Both of them then quickly head off.

Meanwhile, in his workplace, Zarvan sat down on his sofa and looked at the empty plate of cookies.

"I guess he really like sweets, after all."

Kim Rok Soo had a sweet tooth. Zarvan chuckled as he took a note in his mind. He found out some interesting facts today. Zarvan then quickly returned to his desk and started working on that pile of paperwork while humming to some melody.

"We will be heading to the first floor next, as the third floor is just bedrooms. Is that okay with you?"

Kim Rok Soo nodded in response. He didn't need to see other people's bedrooms.

As both him and Azazel walked down the stairs, Kim Rok Soo could see a huge kitchen with a lot of modern kitchenwares and utensils, a big dinning table and chairs

"Woah..."

Everything looked shinny. Both the table and the kitchen was made by white marbled stone. It was very fancy, but very minimalist at the same time.

"As you can see, this place is the kitchen, and it's also the dinning room. It's kinda great, right?"

Kim Rok Soo nodded. This place was adequate. He would be very happy if he could cook in a place like this.

"You like this place?"

Azazel asked Rok Soo as he saw his boy looking at this place with amusement.

"Yeah. This is amazing."

Kim Rok Soo was touching everything. From picking up the utensils, to opening the fridge,... He was looking at them like a child who discovered something amazing.

Azazel giggled as he watched everything. Kim Rok Soo haven't really changed, even if he was mentally 76 years old now.

'I really hope he can be just like this in the future.'

The God of Death smiled fondly at the one whom he had considered as his child.

"The living room is behind that door."

Azazel started speaking after a while. Kim Rok Soo turned his head. The door was in the opposite side.

Click. Kim Rok Soo opened the door. It was the exact opposite of the kitchen. The living room had a soft black and grey tone, making it felt very comfortable. There was a big sofa, enough to fit 4 sitting people, two armchairs, another table,...

'They even have a TV and a fireplace!'

There was a massive TV and a very cozy fireplace. Kim Rok Soo could imagine laying down on that sofa and watching TV all day long.

'Is that the exit door?'

This was the first floor. Does that mean the exit door is over there?

"Have you ever wonder how this place would looked like outside?"

Azazel's sudden words made Rok Soo flinched a bit. He had never thought about it.

The God of Death got close to the door. He then opened it up. Kim Rok Soo stepped outside.

It was a beautiful blue sky with white fluffy clouds. Beneath him was green grasses. Kim Rok Soo realized that the God of Death's Domain was on a floating island. The ground beneath him was sturdy. He could see some other floating islands far away.

It was a beautiful scenery.

"You see, each Domains and places have a separated island that is floating in the sky."

Azazel sat down at the edge of the ground.

"The Divine Realm is a place that is separated from other Dimensions. You can say that this is an outside place."

The God of Death continued to explained as Kim Rok Soo sat next to him.

"Each Gods can manage a maximum of 2 Dimensions. But there is a loophole to this."

Azazel let out a grin.

"As long as Gods work together, they can support their co-workers by manage each others assigned Dimensions."

"Right now, Angelina, Zarvan and I are managing 4 Dimensions. That includes the Unknown World, Earth 1, Earth 2 and Earth 3."

Apparently, the Unknown World was the Dimension that Cale Henituse used to live, while Earth 1 was Kim Rok Soo's.

"The gates to the Dimensions are floating around this Domain in small separated island. Look to the left. That island is the Unknown World's gate."

Kim Rok Soo turned around. He could see a golden gate. The inside of it had a galaxy black hole. It felt unreal.

"Is that why you three merged your Domains together?"

"Yes. It's more convenient this way."

Azazel paused for a while before he continued.

"To get to the other islands, we turned on the bridges like this."

As the God of Death snapped his fingers, a golden bridge appeared from this place to the Unknown World's gate.

"But we don't usually use those things. Normally, we would just use our teleportation power. It's how we get to further island."

Azazel turned off the bridge.

"So, how do you think of my Domain so far?"

The God of Death looked at his child.

"Honestly, this place is amazing."

Kim Rok Soo, who was listening and looking around the whole time, commented. He told Azazel that the Domain was very convenient and comfortable.

'Should I ask him to let me stay here for a while?'

Kim Rok Soo still had to find a stable job to pay for the price. He doubted that he could afford a place to live at that moment.

"Then... Do you want to stay here?"

Kim Rok Soo's eyes opened wide. The God of Death was offering him to stayed at his place.
