The next morning all the passengers were instructed to gather in the conference room.

The head had announced, " Gd mrng dear passengers.. Hope ur having a good time here ..To make ur trip more interesting and exciting we have arranged a small party tonight for u all .. Hope u all enjoy and have fun there. Thankyou !!"

Monami got excited listening to this news and was planning abt her outfit ..
The theme was black 🖤 and she has finalized her dress accordingly.

It was evening time when all the people slowly started entering the party hall and started sipping on their drinks and mocktails..
Karan being least interested stood in a corner looking at his surroundings.
Suddenly then, he heard the sound of fire crackers from outside and walked to the deck area to check it out ..

The area's light had been dimmed out and under the lightening of fire crackers and moon light he could see something /someone making a way out towards him..

His heart skipped a beat and breath hitched for a minute looking at the sight infront of him.
She was looking special, Gorgeous..
Her eyes reflected radiance and he was captivated by her charm ✨
He was just mesmerized by her beauty.

Monami : Hii Karan !!

Karan immediately jolted back from his thoughts and replied her ..

Karan : Heyy..

Monami : What are u doing here Karan standing all alone..? Party enjoy nahi karna hai kya? Chalo andar.. Let's rock this night !!

Karan : Monami woh mujhe parties mai interest nahi hai .. U carry on !

Monami : Ofoo Karan.. plz don't be a spoilsport yaar.. Dekho sab kitne enjoy kar rahe hai .. Vibe toh dekho kitni acchi hai.. Tonight is our night, Let's party and enjoy Karan. Ur joining this that's it.

Saying this much she dragged him
along by entagling their hands together..
While Karan was just looking at her and their entangled hands..
He had to surrender himself in front of her stubborness.

There was dj and the hall was decorated with colourful lights and spotlights on the dias.

The host announced..,

Host : Hey all my dearest ones.. May I have ur attention please!!
To make this party more special we have arranged smtng interesting for u all..For that u need to have ur partners first ..So here we go!!
I request all the lovely ladies please come forward and pick up a chit for ur selves..

Monami picked up a chit to find out that her partner was Karan..
She went to Karan and stood beside him..

Monami : Kitna maza aayegana Karan.. I am so excited !!

Karan : Monami Ik ur very excited..But this is my first time attending any party like this.. So I don't have much idea abt these aspects.. So I think it's better for u to choose any other person in place of mine so that I don't disappoint u .

Monami : Okay if u want to drop out go ahead !! But also plz do inform the host that I am also gonna back out..
Coz ur the only person here , whom I know and the only one whom I can trust upon..
Saying this she turned her face to the other side showing her disappointment..

Karan : Okay..Okay don't spoil ur mood.. I am in !!

Monami : She immediately looked at him with happiness, her face lightening up as 1000 walt bulb ..
Sachiii.. Thankyou so much !!

A small smile crept on Karan's face seeing Monami this happy ..

Host : So buddies..
Party hai toh dance is a must..right ?!!
Here we go pairs.., the stage is all urs..

Monami dragged Karan to the stage and started dancing rhythmically to the music..
She observed that Karan wasn't dancing and asked him to join..

Karan : Monami idk how to dance..
I am very bad at it.

Monami just forwarded her hand and said, "Don't worry! I am with u ..
Saath milkar karenge.. just follow me"

He put his hand on her extended hand and Monami held his other hand and rested it on her waist and her other hand on his shoulder.
She showed him the leg movements and as the music continued they started to sway together to the romantic tunes and they ended it by him twirling her around and pulling her closer to himself..

Their faces were just inches apart..
She looked into his eyes and he looked into hers sharing an eye lock..
Monami was affected by their proximity and her breath became uneven ..

The host and audience clapped for the lovely performance of the participants.., that broke their trance ..
They moved away from each other.

Host : Wohh!! That was a kick start to a beautiful party night ..
Let's proceed with the next game :
The men will have to lift up their partners and make them sit on the chairs and with each successful placement, the chairs will be added on by one to the previous and then you know the drill . It has to be repeated again !! That's about the game..
Let's see who places their partner at the highest height !!
We have 10 pairs here and each pair has got 20 chairs ..
Here u go guys !! All the best ..

Karan : Monami , as I lift u up , just jump and sit on the chair.Okay ?

Monami : Okay.. be careful..

All the pairs have successfully completed the task till 4 chairs were placed upon one another..
And the next round, (2 pairs) dropped out.
At a placement of 7th chair, (3 pairs) dropped out
And at a placement of 10 th chair another (3 pairs) dropped out

Now there was a tough competition bw Moran and an another pair.

The 11 th chair was placed on either sides..
The host announced, "Okay the competition is going tough.. So let's have a change..along with the highest height the one who completes the task first will be the winner !!"

Monami : Karan u don't have to rush ..
It's completely fine with how much we r able to do it ..

Karan : Yep 👍

So here u go pairs..
Ur time starts now!

Karan lifted up Monami by her waist and put her on the chair..
He helped her get down and immediately placed an another on top and made her sit..

The other pair was also giving an equal competition..
Karan thought -'' The only way now to win this task is by finishing it at the fastest..''

Thinking so he placed an another chair in Swift of a moment and being lost in his thoughts, he threw the chair on his hand and due to the speed with which he placed, his fingers got pressed beneath and started to bleed.. He felt pain but hid it immediately and lifted up Monami again continuing the game..

Monami was so impressed by Karan, the way he was lifting her up..
the way he was placing her carefully on the chair..
the way he was supporting her get down ensuring she doesn't hurt herself and most of all ..
the way he was playing the task just for her as he was least interested in this party..

In all of her thoughts she didn't notice Karan's bleeding hand.

The 17 th chair was placed and the other pair gave up accepting their defeat..
And here our Karan lifted up Monami and placed her on the 20 th chair..
THE TOPMOST CHAIR.
Marking them as the clear winners !!
The crowd cheered for them !!

Monami's happiness knew no bounds and she instantly jumped into Karan's arms from the height and hugged him tight by encircling her arms around his neck and legs around his waist.

Monami : Thankyou..Thankyou so much Karan !!
I am so very happy..
She exclaimed liked a joyful kid !
Karan hugged her back,"I am happy too that I didn't disappoint you!"

Monami pulled back herself from the hug but they still stayed in each other's embrace..
Karan's forehead had sweat and Monami wiped it off with her handkerchief and passed on a water bottle to him.
He forwarded his hand to hold the bottle that's when Monami's eyes fell on his wounded hand shocking her to the core and she asked him immediately..

Monami : Karan..!! Tumhe yeh chot kese lagi ? Bohot khoon nikal raha hai..

Karan : Monami choti si chot hai..Teek hojayegi.

Monami : Ur mad or what.. Fingers got pressed and they are bleeding..
Did ur fingers get pressed while placing the chairs? Why didn't u tell me ? Ur just unbelievable Karan.. Y did u hide ur pain ? She scolded him
Chalo mere saath, First aid karti hu ..

She took him to the medical room and started dressing his wound..
He hissed in pain !
Monami in a tearful voice : I am sorry !
Karan : Sorry kisliye?
Monami : ( With tears in her eyes ) - U got hurt because of me and I didn't even know that u were hurt . *Sobbing* I am so sorry.. It's all my fault.
[She finished bandaging his wound]

Karan lifted up Monami's face , wiped her tears and told her : It's not ur fault Monami. Stop blaming urself..
U were very much excited for this party and I didn't want to disappoint you.. I am totally responsible for my carelessness.. I was lost in my thoughts when I threw the chair on my hand and hurt myself.. U have ntng to do with it !!

Monami was still unsatisfied..
She knew that it's because of her stubborness that Karan had to participate and had hurt himself..

Karan : Okay leave this now., come let's go have our dinner.

Monami : Hmm ..

Saying so, he went towards the door to open it.. but to his surprise , he found that the door got locked from outside .
