Prologue

Alexandria

'”He was meant to die Alexandria” a dark, foreboding voice echoed through my dreams

“But Mark said that I was destined to save him” I cried out

“No you weren't, it was Tutankhamun's destiny to perish in the hunt”

“But he's only an innocent young man, he deserves to live his life out with the twins and I. Please, I beg of you, let Tutankhamun live” I sobbed

“Why should I?”

“Because I love him” I cried out “I love him”

“But does he still love you?” the voice asked, and I remained silent as tears dripped down my cheeks “You really think he loves you Alexandria? Well he doesn't, do you understand now why Tutankhamun had to die?” the voice snarled.'

“No!” I screamed as I sat up in my bed 'Why do I keep having the same dream over and over again?' I asked myself as I lied back down in the bed. It's been a week since Tutankhamun, Ankhesenamun, the children and I had returned from Ancient Egypt. I knew this dream well since I've been having it since we arrived, and I never really knew who kept telling me that Tutankhamun didn't love me, when I knew that he did.

Shortly after Tutankhamun and Ankhesenamun had moved in, they took on the names of Nick and Sally, while the children, Thutmose, Tiye and Kiya kept their names. Tutankhamun and Ankhesenamun have quickly learned our ways, though they still struggle with somethings, like clothes, beds and some kinds of food.
