It was just another day coming to an end, raising a new one after the darkness.

You were sitting on the balcony for a while, basking in the warm air that brushed against your skin as you read a book in the calm atmosphere.

From afar though, Ethan quietly shuffled into the bedroom, seeing your figure through the sliding door leading to the balcony. He stared at you while standing beside the bed, taking note of your calm posture and happy-go-lucky expression while you read your favorite book.

He took note of how adorable you looked when your eyebrows were slightly pinched, glasses on, focusing on every word with your eyes flickering once in a while when carefully turning to the next page.

As cliche as it may seem, he genuinely thought you were the most beautiful girl in the world. He'd always adore you with all his heart. No one could light up his world as much as you did and that was such a special quality.

While getting somewhat tired, letting a yawn quietly escape from you, you felt a pair of eyes on you. Resting your book beside you, you looked up to be met with Ethan's gaze. You already knew he was simply paying close attention from afar, making your heart burn out.

You gave him a soft smile as you felt your cheeks slightly heat up. He decided to make his way over to you, having a smile spread across his face as well. Closing the sliding door behind him and stepping towards you, he looked down at your face with stars in his eyes.

"More poetry?" He asked, his deep voice breaking the silence and making your heart flutter even more. For some reason, you wouldn't admit it so easily but you've fallen head over heels for this boy and so has he, returning the love you've been seeking. You nodded in response. "Of course."

You carefully opened the book back up and adjusted the bookmark in it. Ethan watched you, feeling soft inside. He stood closer to you and gently brushed his fingers through your hair, feeling it's softness while staring down at you.

You looked back up at him to look into his eyes. Every time you did so, you always saw so much love and emotion compact in there like never before. Everyday, it seems his eyes just kept softening and softening.

The two of you realized what's happening, connecting the dots. You slightly shook your head at Ethan in sarcastic disappointment. "Wanna know something?" You asked out of the blue. He tilted his head at you. "I kinda hate how you always notice the little things." You knew it and he knew it himself.

Ethan has always had a tendency to want to know more especially about the things he loved, the things he had a burning desire for. He dug as deep as there is to see who you were. That may sound weird but he genuinely wanted to know who you really were and what you were passionate about. All those late night talks weren't for nothing after all. Besides your mentality, he also admired what he could see.

He loved the way you looked and all the things that you considered imperfections. Whether it be acne, beauty marks, maybe even your messy hair, he still found you so wondrous and worth looking at like a painting in a museum. Finally busting out of his thoughts, he scoffed at you slightly and softly dragged you inside. You both sat in bed. You stared at him, waiting for a reply.

"That's the point, baby. I love everything about you. Even the things you don't like."
