5 years later – Somewhere in New OrleansπŸ•ŠοΈ

Nat hurried out of her class after her last student. Today was a beautiful day, announcing summer, her favorite season. The glimpses of sunlight left goosebumps of delight on her skin as she hopped on her bike. She was relieved to be a kindergarten teacher, so she had the rest of the day to herself and for Noah. She met him in front of the clinic and jumped into his arms.

"You're on a break?" she finally asked after he was done capturing her lips. "Actually, no, I'm done for the day," he smirked as he kissed her again. "What do you mean?"

He took her hand, leading her to the park near his work. "I have a surprise," she smiled as they entered through a small entry surrounded by trees and greenery. It felt intimate, secretive. Nat loved this place. This park was actually the reason they decided to move to this city as they had both fallen in love with it during one of their travels. "Follow me, sweetheart."

She gasped when they finally arrived at their usual spot. A big picnic had been set up on the grass, with flowers and champagne. She moved forward to the blossom tree, pink flowers snowing above her head. "When – how? Why?" she had lost the ability to speak, and when she turned around, she realized she had also lost the ability to think clearly.

Noah was resting on one knee, a little box in hand. "Noah...."

"Nat...," he mimicked, opening the box. "I love you. You're –" as he was beginning to declare himself, Nat realized she couldn't wait any longer and ran into his arms, both crashing onto the grass. "Yes, yes, yesβ€”YES," she kissed his face without missing a spot.

What Nat didn't know was that, by coincidence or fate, Kat and Wally happened to be passing by this specific park on that specific day, and they witnessed it. "It's perfect," smiled Kat as Wally nodded.

And everything was.

Nathalie and Noah lived happily ever after, and when, decades later, it was finally time to go, they moved on to the other side directly, as they both lived a happy life and had no regrets about it.

Katherine and Wally saw it all, every little spot on earth. They embraced it, and no matter what, they never left each other's sides. They were forever young and in love. Until one day, they both knew that it was time to go.

And no matter what happened, they would face it. Together.

So, this is it. All done. I feel really weird every time I finish a story, especially this one, as this is the second time I have had the courage to post it online. And this is the first one that has so many views, likes, and comments. You don't realize how much this all means to me. I always believed my writing was bad and my ideas not worth writing for. But I think I might write more :).

I have actually written three more stories (not fanfic but out of my imagination). I might begin to post them as well. If you are interested, let me know.

One is a summer love story and thriller: a straight A student as to form an alliance with her all time nemesis in order to found out what happened to her best friend and why nobody (even her parents or the police) seems to care about it.

The other is a horror-thriller (and romance ofc)Β  set in a rainy town (with more mature content): a 23 year old author is forced to return to her small town after the body of her older brother is finally found after vanishing 8 years ago. She might be the only suspect and she needs to found out the truth, and to remember what happened the year she turned 15.

The last one is the first part of a fantasy world with two sisters falling into a rabbit hole and four evil princes waiting for them on the other side... ( kinda Alice in wonderland dark rewrite)

Well, I love you all.

Thank you for reading this story.

Bye
