It's been two years, and by then everyone in Japan lost contact with him. Izuku accidentally broke his phone, and wasn't able to alert his friends in Japan that he had gotten a new number, but his mother called and explained but a month later they lost contact again and just gave up to get contact a second time. So what happens when 3-A gets a class trip, including 3 teachers, to go to California to check out S.N High school, one of the top 3 best hero schools in all of America? What happens when they see their old friend/Boyfriend/Son figure with a group of 7 people, acting not like the little cinnamon roll he used to be? What happens when they see the glowup on the kid and the way he matured in certain ways? What about when they notice he moved on from Bakugo and actually has someone else? Someone more better and fun?
