The Crimson Bow: And the Eagle Insignia

Seven hundred years of writing the tragedies of the world have taken its toll on the otherworldly chronicler, the Timekeeper. And as the year becomes 700, it is time for mistakes of the past to resurface as it does every century in the form of the race for the Crimson Bow - a legendary cursed weapon of the gods.

For this purpose, twelve youths are selected to succeed the gods with the endgame of being the first to claim the Crimson Bow. They cannot die of mortal ills and wounds, so all that motivates their quest is to survive their new-found immortality's fatal flaw: the Crimson Bow has the ability to strike down a god, and whoever is the first to reach it may use that power for whatever they desire.

A former knight all too eager to get in over his head.
A blind half-blood who lets crimes of the past lay heavily across his shoulders.
A tormented dragon that faces a thousand enemies.
A young half-blood that lets vengeance rule her heart and force her hand.
A tattered polar bear who fights despite the icy claws that cage his heart.
A skeptical elf who has long lost faith in the lives of others and has no qualms in ending them.
A cheery squirrel drawn by duty, and her smile hides a storm like no other.
And a crippled girl whose strength triumphs all others and embodies a likely leader.

However, a dark cloud seems to loom over the twelve youths, shrouding over their futures. They take shape as a group of insurgents, each bearing the insignia of an eagle with an arrow through its head. As a mysterious plague begins to stretch its spindly fingers to all ends of Asasia, it becomes clear to the Timekeeper that his story is about to take a turn. A young woman cloaked in black aims to rewrite the world's laws, and hopefully, tell a different tale.
