Second Life

I saw the memories as if they were my own, I felt like I was actually her. The memories I remembered of her were last moments mostly. A murder had taken place a year and nine months before my birth. They didn't what to qualify it as, a murder or a brake in. They deemed it a brake in, they found the woman's body by a man dressed in black. They assumed he killed her son, her, then took his own life. That's not what happened. The man had broken in to kill the woman, the boy had started scream when the child had seen the scary man. The man grabbed the boy and pressed a cold knife to his throat. The woman came into before this just before the death of her son. She witnessed the cold knife slit into her son's warm flesh, blood covering the boy completely. She felt no emotions to her son's death, no anger, no grief, no nothing. Next, the man charged at her, to kill her as well. She got ahold of the knife the man had, and stabbed him twice in the gut and once in the heart, spilling his blood all over herself. She still felt nothing. She looked at the two bodies, she knew she'd be caught even if she ran, so she slit her own throat, she didn't want to live anyways and used as a chance to die. She left no regrets, no will, and no kin. It was as if she never existed. I saw this and some of her childhood memories at a very young age. I was seen as a child prodigy, I knew how to do everything as an adult would, because of her memories.
