Algunos dicen que crueles son
Otros, que en ellos no hay maldad
No sé que será cierto
O cual es la verdad
Yo sólo sé que sus abrazos
Traen calma y tranquilidad

Con sus juegos y monerías,
Con sus risas y gestos
Alegran cada día
Rejuvenecen al resto
Trayendo recuerdos de adultos
Que un día fueron como ellos

Con su luz de inocencia
Aclaran toda angustia
Su energía no decae
Con sus tiernas ocurrencias
Se llevan la amargura
Que el ser grande a veces trae

Ojalá siempre tengamos
La mirada llena como ellos
De luz y esperanza
Que de paz y amor al resto
Vivir con su gran alegría
Y corazón sincero
Aprender a caminar
Con su hermosa transparencia
Y su falta de prejuicios
Ojalá nunca matemos
