Well, this is my first attempt of trying short stories.It is the collection of love stories.

Following this preface I will track my reactions to the story and thoughts on the writing. I am not a professional author, editor, or reviewer. I have read this book before earlier this year, but plan to continue reading the series, so I decided to reread book 1 to remind myself what happens. I remember being intrigued by the cover and description, even though I am not usually one for science fiction novels. It took me a while to get into the story initially but once I was in, I was all in.

But the story is not that simple. Not. Even. Close. Things get complicated when the murders begin. I've never really been into horror / thriller literature, but this book single-handedly made me a fan! The writing style, the level of detail, the suspense, the amount of research that went into crafting the plot and stage for this dynamic masterpiece of a book is STUNNING. And Sean Fisher composed MUSIC for the book. MUSIC! I highly recommend this story to inquisitive readers who want to be simultaneously impressed and disquieted--especially those that crave a great plot twist (because wow).
