Set in the 1960's Georgia, Eighteen-year-old Betty Smith lived with her two loving parents and her five-year-old brother, Steven. They loved each other more than words could account for, but on a late and cold November night The Smith's received the grim news that Eliot Smith, the father of the close knit family, was murdered. With grief in their hearts and no money in the bank they were forced to move to a lower part of town leaving their always green suburbia. There they meet new and nicer people, but a certain family neighboring theirs will help solve the murder and fill Betty's heart with joy and love: The Phoenix's
He came back. It had been almost five months since Cameron left me stranded in our hotel room. I'd memorized how he looked so tired, hungry, in pain. And there was blood slipping off his neck and into his T-shirt. Almost a year ago, Cameron found me in my weakest state. He originally was the boy I made-the boy in my dreams-but I never thought he'd become real. Ten months ago, my mother was taken, and despite me pleading to save her, Cameron wouldn't let me leave his sight. I'm not going to deny it; I fell in love with him. I almost died, but he did something that I'd never think was possible. He bit me. That was when everything I once knew was gone, and I became this atrocious monster in need of blood, and even when he told me he'd save me. He left. But now he was back. In my senior year of high school, Cameron showed up at my birthday party. Little did I know that at that very moment, my life would change, once again. I was no longer a snow angel, I was a vampire-werewolf-angel hybrid; something impossible. And you know those sayings of vampires never drinking their own blood? I'm an exception. In fact, my blood smells so delicious to them, and I have to constantly avoid walking past beings on the streets. But Cameron came to take me, once more, and his craving for my blood was unimaginable. Little did I know that I wasn't only his victim, but he was my savior.
*SLOW UPDATES* When a cheer stunt goes wrong and ends with Evie in critical condition, her boyfriend Doug and her friends find themselves mentally paralyzed. The outlook on her state is seemingly dim, until an unforeseen recovery brightens everyone's life. But the sunshine only sticks around for a moment before the details are revealed. As the VKs and Aks cope with the emotional distress of the rest of their senior year, things don't seem to be getting easier. Learning how to deal with past memories that ultimately mean nothing will test the limits of Doug's heart. C O M P L E T E D Previously called: They Met On A Sunday ☙❦❧"Beautiful," he mumbled to himself as he studied the way her hair fell down her shoulders. How her cheekbones sat. How her eyelashes brushed her brow bone. Everything about her."Hmm?" she sounded out. She heard what he said, but refused to believe he was saying it about her. She was probably hallucinating. She shook her head to try and clear her mind. He watched her in amusement. "Um sorry," she mumbled, "I think I'm hearing things."She laughed awkwardly, letting her eyes stray from his face and look at anything else she could possibly look at."No you weren't," he corrected her. "You heard right."She lifted her head in surprise and he was already smirking. The glint in his eyes told her that he wasn't lying either. Her heart swelled and she bit her lip instinctively. He groaned. "Fuck Delilah don't do that," his eyes darkened as he admired her plump lips, waiting for the moment he could kiss them. "For my sake." ☙❦❧A story about a girl who thought she loved a boy; a story about a boy the girl didn't love. ☙❦❧#1 in the Bouquet Bunch Short Story.Cover by @xtruebeautyxCopyright ©
