50.25 Carat Diamond from Gahcho Kué, Canada to be Sold in January

Toronto, ON- October 26, 2016. Mountain Province Diamonds, Canada to sell 50.25
carat gem quality arctic diamond from Gahcho Kué in January, 2017. This is the
largest diamond so far mined from the project officially opened in September
2016. Three fancy yellow diamonds between 3-5 carats will also be on offer,
company announced in a press release.

The Gahcho Kué, the world's largest new diamond mine started its ramp-up
operations on 1 August, 2016. From August 1 to September 30, the mine has
produced 198, 000 carats.
President and CEO of the Mountain Province Diamonds, Patrick Evans says that the
mining project is on track to achieve commercial production in 2017."We are very pleased that ramp-up production commenced six weeks ahead of
schedule. Mining and processing continues to progress well and Gahcho Kué
remains on track to achieve commercial production in early 2017", Evans said.
Canada is the third largest global producer of diamonds by valuable laser inscribed diamond and established its reputation in the industry as the only guaranteed source of conflict-diamonds.
Also, arctic diamonds are often graded as of the finest gem quality diamonds by
certified gemologists and gem labs around the world.
