Fallen Angel
Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Jason Todd have been best friends since they were little kids, before Jason fled to the streets of Gotham. Both raven-haired kids grew up with identical pasts and backgrounds, and both connected with each other because of it. The two honorary siblings quickly became adoptive siblings after Jason fled to the streets after his dad went to jail and mom died, thanks to Sabine Dupain-Cheng adopting him at Marinettes begging and pleading, much to Tom Dupain's anger. Jason had Sabine and Mari's hearts and love for him, and the two had his, but never had Tom's, not that he cared. He hated the man because of the way he treated Mari and Sabine, which was like his bio father did to him, and Tom hated him because he'd lived in the streets and wasn't biologically part of the Dupain-Cheng family, so he got treated the same, but the abuse was 10x as bad. All Jason and Mari cared was that they had each other, and that they would be ok if they had each other by the other's side.But everything changed when Tom had finally had crossed the line, and that was the line that would change the siblings forever.10 years later, Jason was adopted by billionaire Bruce Wayne aka Batman, has 7 other adoptive siblings, and is Red Hood... whenever he isn't traveling the world, looking for his beloved Pixie Pop. Marinette thinks her older brother is dead, and she lives alone with Tom. Hawkmoth is defeated, and the young Gothamite is broken beyond imagining. Can Jason, and maybe the rest of the Wayne family, bring the light back into her eyes and help her? Marinette Dupain-Cheng is your typical 16 year old girl: has a loving family, friends in school, good grades, and has two careers, and is the daughter of Paris's two famous bakers. At least, that's what everyone sees on the outside. On the inside, behind the closed doors of the bakery and her life. In reality, she gets abused by her parents. The only friends she has is the mayor of Paris's daughter, a DJ, and an athlete, a singer/guitarist, and a fencer. Mari is Ladybug and the Grand Guardian, defeator of Shadowmoth and Cat Noir. And on top of that, Mari is broken, thanks to her parents and Lila. So when she wins a trip to Gotham for 3 months for her class and meets Jason Todd, what will happen when Lila finally goes too far and makes Marinette finally snap? Will the Wayne family be able to help her, or will the ravenette try to turn everyone away? Note- none of these characters or photos are mine! I do not own them, sadly. Mari eventually has had enough with Paris, so she runs away and leaves the country, running back home to Gotham, where she lives on the streets and is quickly having people hunting her for money and her fur. Will Marinette find Jason and be saved? Will he be able to help his little sister, or will they both have to depend on the Kent family for protection against Gotham and Paris?There is no hawkmoth or kwamis. Clark adopts Mari and Jason, Mari and Jason need a hug, protective Wayne brothers, Chloe and Nino, class salt, depression and cutting warnings, Mari and Jason need a hug and love
