Cameron Johnson was a 15 year old boy that was blind. His favorite thing to do was to run. He goes running every other day with his dad. They do that by his dad leading the way and Cameron holds on to his shoulder so he knows where he's going. Cameron has recently been wanting to join the Cross Country team but everyone doesn't want him too because they think that he won't be able to do it and he will get hurt. His father was the only one that believed in him and he was the only one who believed he could do it. So one day Cameron's father went to talk to the Cross Country coach and asked if Cameron could join the team but in order to do that, his dad must find someone from his son's school that runs, isn't on the team already, and fast because the team has their first meet coming up soon. What if the boy Cameron's dad finds is a criminal that is so fast that he can even out run the cops? What if the boy is the most known kid in school? The two boys don't like each other so what will happen? Will Cameron be able to make the team? If so, what will happen after he get's on? I guess you'll just have to read and find out ;) (Inspired by the movie 'If I Had Wings')
