This is a series of letters from Swara to Sanskaar - seven of them, in total - and closely follow the serial canon, covering the time period from the moment Swara realises how wrong she was to suspect Sanskaar till a few moments before the wedding. All the letters are my attempt to write down what Swara would be feeling and cover a gamut of emotions; angst, hope, love, and a bit of humour in one....

By a strange quirk of destiny all four found themselves at a point where they had a chance to continue on the path of self-destruction or to stand still and introspect, to find where it was that one went wrong and then seek to make amends.Would they take this chance to introspect? And if they did introspect, what would they find?

Euphony of the Elements
A summation of the events leading Swara and Sanskaar's wedding; as each of the four recalled their actions leading to this event. A recollection of their journey dealing with:Ragini's transformation from a sweet girl to a woman with bitterness, willing to go to any lengths to get what she wants, till she realises that she has lost everything, including the one person she loves above all.Swara's ordeal as she learns that those whom you love are never there for you and it is foolish to push away the only man who had always been by your side; Laksh's realisation that though it is easy to blame Ragini for her manipulations it was his inability to trust that destroyed his love and happinessSanskaar's acceptance that revenge is cold and unhappy and is never a solution, that love, as oft told, does heal old wounds and create new hopes.It is a tale told in the form of a ballad with each element symbolising each of the four protagonists.
The Sword's Song
ONC#2019 Long List The legends spoke of it, the myths whispered of it too; tales of a sword, forged in hope and wrought in despair, drawn out in light and quenched in darkness, made by a simple blacksmith, yet a blade so powerful that it could even destroy the Gods. It is believed that the swordsman worthy of lifting this sword was a true warrior, one who would be rendered invincible. And those who survived the battles fought alongside this warrior, swore that they could hear the blade sing.It was during the darkest battles, where the very existence of the world was threatened, that the blade would find its blade master, the warrior who would need it to fight the battle, to hope for a chance at victory. At least that is what was believed, for no battle seemed dire enough to have the blade appear in the last four thousand years.Four thousand, one hundred and sixty five years after the last recorded tale of the battle,where the blade had appeared, sixteen year old Aindri, much to her shock and delight, discovers that the legends are true and the myths are facts. But then what the myths guarded was a fearsome secret; for the sword to be rendered powerful, it needed a sacrifice, a price to be paid, willingly...Completed.

Disclaimer - Though the title is in Mandarin, the story is in English and is set in an Indian cultural backdrop.Now that it is out of the way, what is the duology about? This is a story about how giving up the dream of eternal love sets the lovers on the exact path to each other.It is a tale or rather a set of two tales, one an adaption of a O'Henry novel (An Unknown Romance) and the second is a take on what could have happened after the twisted ending of the first tale.
As I Write This Letter...
Sanskaar Maheshwari was a methodical and meticulous man, who always had a plan, a couple of backup plans and maybe, a backup backup plan. It appeared that the Universe approved of his meticulousness, for his life went as he planned, like clockwork; till one fine day, there is a blip in the Universe which causes a disturbance in his life, one for which he had no plan.For one full year from that fated day, Sanskaar received them daily, come rain or shine; a bouquet of six flowers and a note. The flowers varied, the words differed, the timings were irregular but the bouquet and note were constant. They were so constant that soon Sanskaar accepted the same as part of his daily routine and never paid much attention to them; till the day they stopped, as suddenly as they had started. Once the notes ceased, their absence became a disruption and Sanskaar starts to miss them. Unknown to him, those notes, unplanned and unexpected, had become a part of him and his life. The onset of the notes had been a minor aberration but the cessation threatens to steal his peace of mind, as he realised that those notes somehow brightened his days.A part of him also worries about what could have happened to the writer and finally, unable to bear the ordeal of not knowing, why the notes started and why they stopped, he decides to seek out the anonymous letter writer. With nothing but the 365 notes to help him, he sets out on a quest to find the letter writer, one that leads him to a unexpected encounter; for he would meet chaos, a perfectly put together mess which would change his life and turn his world upside down.Update Schedule - Erratic - apologies for the same
