"Little Women" follows the lives of four sisters – Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March – and is loosely based on the author's childhood experiences with her three sisters.

Eight Cousins, or The Aunt-Hill was published in 1875 by American novelist Louisa May Alcott.It is the story of Rose Campbell, a lonely and sickly girl who has been recently orphaned and must now reside with her maiden great aunts, the matriarchs of her wealthy Boston family. When Rose's guardian, Uncle Alec, returns from abroad, he takes over her care. Through his unorthodox theories about child-rearing, she becomes happier and healthier while finding her place in her family of seven boy cousins and numerous aunts and uncles. Little Men: Life at Plumfield with Jo's Boys
Little Men, or Life at Plumfield with Jo's Boys, is a novel by American author Louisa May Alcott, first published in 1871. The novel reprises characters from Little Women and is considered by some the second book in an unofficial Little Women trilogy, which is completed with Alcott's 1886 novel Jo's Boys, and How They Turned Out: A Sequel to "Little Men". It tells the story of Jo Bhaer and the children at Plumfield Estate School. It was inspired by the death of Alcott's brother-in-law, which reveals itself in one of the last chapters when a beloved character from Little Women passes away. Jo's Boys
Jo's Boys, and How They Turned Out: A Sequel to "Little Men" is a novel by American author Louisa May Alcott, first published in 1886. The novel is the final book in the unofficial Little Women series. In it, Jo's "children," now grown, are caught up in real world troubles.The book mostly follows the lives of Plumfield boys who were introduced in Little Men, particularly Tommy, Emil, Demi, Nat, Dan, and Professor Bhaer and Jo's sons Rob and Teddy, although the others make frequent appearances as well. The book takes place ten years after Little Men. Dolly and George are college students dealing with the temptations of snobbery, arrogance, self-indulgence and vanity.Cover by the lovely @-gozi- .
Amy and Laurie
Honestly I used to ship Jo and Laurie but then I saw the 2019 version of Little Women and I fell in love with Amy and Laurie and realized that these two are perfect together. They compliment each other so well and they're so adorable tbh Laurie and Jo would never work they're only meant to be best friends so I made this story because of how underrated Amy and Laurie are.

What if Laurie didn't love Jo? What if all along since childhood it was Amy? Would they confess their love sooner? How does Jo feel about it? Does she actually have feelings for him? This story is based of the Greta Gerwig movie adaptation and partially the book and I also have made Laurie and Jo two years older than Amy instead of three because I want their love story to start earlier and three year age gap seemed to big for what age I plan for it to start. I really do love this ship and Jo and Laurie just is a no. So sorry to any Jo and Laurie shippers this isn't for you.
