Golden Feather
Mariana, a fierce archangel, stops to stalk a human. The doctor is amazing at his hospital, but he wonders if the recent death of his patient is a result of life events that distracted him. He eventually comes face to face with danger. Joe and his coworkers are drunk and out for revenge. Mariana abandons her duties to save this man who is a good father and role model. Getting involved causes them to fall in love, but at what consequences? She sets out to discover the real reason he is in danger. Mariana meets Dasia and adores her. They get along just fine, or so it seems.Chief Reginaldo believes Dr. Anthony is way overdue for a vacation. He assigns nurse Mariana to take care of the doctor's wounds and broken arm while on vacation. Dasia is given freedom to use dad's credit card to plan and pay for the vacation to Florida and then California for a four-day, three-night cruise.Mariana knows the threat of danger is present and the only way to protect the doctor is to be near him while still getting her duties done. By this time, he is deeply attracted to her, but is trying not to show it. Dr. Anthony starts to reveal his feelings, delicately, since he and his daughter were recently grieving. Despite the urge to give into her feelings, Mariana knows she is a divine warrior angel with a duty to protect mankind from evil. AN old flame arrives and gives a three-day warning that he will kill the doctor. But this was just a distraction. Mariana is caught off-guard and knocked out. Dasia is kidnapped, and the doctor wants answers. Dr. Anthony gets help from the most unlikely source. A small battalion of fallen angels are battling the doctor. During this time, he has an unlikely source of help, plus Mariana and they prevail and save Dasia. In the process they lose Joe, the father of the girl the doctor could not save. The Same Joe who attacked him in the alley. Now Joe has saved his life and died in the process, leaving his canine to watch over the new family.
Cispicion
Follows a few characters working at a touristy fair when some freaky supernatural shit goes down. Vaughn (he/they) is a bubbly student. Mara (she) is cynical and punk. They don't know it yet, but like half their coworkers aren't human. Soon, they probably won't be either. And there is a prophecy about them. Heavy swearing, heavy snark. It's the LGBTQIAetc supernatural comedy horror I've always wanted. Trigger warnings for common triggers will be provided at the beginning of relevant sections, although I should give you a heads up that this whole thing deals with the daily life of MOGAI folks and there are microaggressions (mainly cissexism, heteronormativity) that will be throughout. Representation-wise, aside from what's already implied there's POC folks, some disabilities, and one of the minor characters is severely deaf. (They are friends with a lot of the main cast though and thus a lot of those folks use versions of sign language when they are around.) NaNoWriMo/novelization of a webcomic I've been planning. Setting is an AU of Ottawa, Canada. (Similar city layout, based around Centretown, Glebe/Lansdowne, Chinatown. Fair is based on the SuperEx but I've never been to that so it's totally hypothetical, and this version of the fair is based from May to September or so. There's also an LGBT+ shelter and transitional housing in this version of the city and there isn't in real life. *Hostile looks towards the municipal government.*) I don't know how much this is going to be updated honestly. It will probably be based on the attention I get for it.
