She's my girlfriend.I always found it odd that you could possess someone- that a person could belong to another human being. All my life I've been taught that to own someone was called slavery and to control someone bordered on abuse. So, the phrase, domestic affair, made sense to me because to ever be able to condone this 'belonging' of each other was if we, as humans, were broken down until we'd lost our wild nature and became malleable to a higher being's will.
