Gulliver's Travels (1726)

Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World. In Four Parts. By Lemuel Gulliver, First a Surgeon, and then a Captain of Several Ships, better known simply as Gulliver's Travels (1726, amended 1735), is a novel by Anglo-Irish writer and clergyman Jonathan Swift, that is both a satire on human nature and a parody of the "travellers' tales" literary sub-genre.

How Mia Met Gulliver

In April 2020, Gulliver washes up on Cozy Beach for the first time. There, he meets the Resident Representative, 28-year-old Mia McAllister. This prequel goes into depth about Gulliver's situation (mostly how he got into a miserable life) and how he and Mia became friends.Disclaimer: I do not own Animal Crossing. All rights to characters, other than my OC's, belong to Nintendo. Like my other fics, this one is an AU, but it also contains some headcanons about Gully. Gulliver's Travels (Completed)

Gulliver's Travels is a famous satirical novel by Jonathan Swift, first published in 1726. It was originally banned because of the politically sensitive references the author makes in the novel, but the work has also been censured for displays of madness and for being "wicked and obscene, blasphemous, filthy in word and thought". The story recounts the dystopian experiences of Lemuel Gulliver, as he sees giants, talking horses, cities in the sky, and much more.

Gulliver Swift is-was-an archeologist-adventurer who traveled the world in search of lost tombs, temples, and treasure. But his last expedition was attacked by a tribe of feathered fire-breathing monsters out of the Cretaceous. His financial backer was killed. The legendary artifact they'd come to find was left behind along with the evidence of its discovery. His story debunked, Swift became a pariah reduced to teaching Archeology 101 to freshmen. It is now 22 years later. And the serial killer suddenly terrorizing New York City may be one of those monsters. The Police Commissioner wants Gulliver's help. And he wants no part of it. What he saw on the island was the figment of a fevered imagination cracking under pressure-but does a figment leave a trail of charred bodies torn apart by what could only be non-human hands? It is only when the beast strikes too close to home that Swift is forced to wonder whether he could have been right in the first place. If he was-is-how did it get here? Or, rather, who could have brought it?

Cozy Beach Adventures

Gulliver gets thrown overboard by his crewmates and washes up on the island of Cozy Beach. This is told from Gulliver's perspective. This also contains non-canon characters and a non-canon relationship. Pretty much G rated except a very brief mention of alcohol. Many thinks that Gulliver's travel has done yet. Until one day, he landed his ship to the mysterious island. Surprisingly, the island was not located anywhere on the map. This raised question mark to Gulliver. Even more shocking when he arrived at a village called Masvialy. Everything littered and full of scratch was marks. The people there also look injured but still doing their day like nothing happens. What happened in the island? Is Gulliver capable to solve the mystery?
