Pada Tahun 2023, Tim Futsal SMA STERO mengikuti ajang Futsal regional yaitu Futsal Series Regional Yogyakarta. Tim yang dikepalai oleh Drs.Haryadi selaku Coach dapat menurunkan 14 pemain terbaiknya untuk bermain pada ajang ini. Dengan melakukan persiapan selama 1 semester dan kurang lebih 1 bulan untuk Persiapan Ajang Futsal Series Regional Yogyakarta. Dengan persiapan yang matang tentu dapat menghasilkan hasil yang manis juga. Dan pada akhirnya pada tanggal 10 Oktober 2023 Tim Futsal Stero dapat berlaga diajang ini yang bertempat di GOR Pancasila UGM, Dengan menjalani dua kali berlaga dengan hasil yang sudah bagus, yaitu Seri saat melawan MA IBNUL QOYYIM dengan hasil 2-2, dan kalah 3-2 Saat melawan SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 2 Yogyakarta. Dengan hasil yang demikian Tim Futsal Stero sudah bertanding dengan Sebaik-baiknya dan mendapat dari teman-teman Scream Stero dan Siswa stero yang berbondong-bondong datang pada saat pertandingan yang kedua saat melawan SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 2 Yogyakarta itu jugalah yang menyebabkan Tim Futsal kami tambah semangat untuk bertanding. Walau dengan hasil yang demikian tetapi melalui perhitungan Point, TIM Futsal Stero masih dapat lolos ke babak selanjutnya yaitu 16 Besar.Pada Keesokan harinya, tanggal 11 Oktober 2023, TIM Futsal Stero kembali berlaga di GOR Pancasila UGM untuk mengikuti laga 16 besar. Dengan persiapan yang matang pula, Coach Drs. Hariyadi kembali menurunkan 14 pemain terbaiknya untuk berlaga dalam laga 16 besar, dengan mengerahkan seluruh kekuatan yang bisa dikeluarkan oleh semua pemain Untuk melawan SMA Negeri 1 Wates, dan mendapat hasil kekalahan 5-2 dari SMA Negeri 1 Wates, mungkin karena masih lelah dengan pertandingan babak grup pada hari sebelumnya, maka performa yang ditunjukan belum semaksimal diharapkan para penonton, tetapi menurut Coach Haryadi performa yang ditunjukan oleh anak asuhannya sudah bagus tetapi perlu dikembangkan lagi untuk ajang selanjutnya.
