If nobody can get in nobody can hurt him again. This is the prequel to Starting Over so if you read it first you won't miss anything but there may be a few spoilers. I mean the clawed helpfulness) and something like an involuntary flatmate. Which was not what Jasper had expected but hey, you've got to take all the help you can get when you're trying to get rid of a curse whose sole purpose it is to kill you. Jasper should be glad he survived it til here. And if dealing with a wayward demon was the price to pay, he had nothing against it. Especially when said demon had the annoying tendency to make him laugh and blush all the time.
