It has been many years since the times of peace in the world of Coa. Those who are brave enough to express the desire of the common people now are suddenly disappearing, never to be seen again. Such is the fate of Roahan Ferus' parents. It would have been his fate too if it was not for their last words to find the Jurishaon Mentors, a group of people whom the all-controlling Orsed military is hunting down with a strangely odd obsession. When almost by accident Roahan meets Anadis, Queen of Ner-Vand, his homeisland, he is thrown into a conflict in which many are suffering. Including the ex-Jurishaon Sear. Though almost blind, Sear has made it his mission to fight for Coa's peace and freedom, and inspires Roahan to do the same; guiding him with the wisdom of the Great Truth the Jurishaon strongly believe is in control of the situation they are in. Teamed up with Anadis and Sear, Roahan is launched into an adventure with a host of others who desire for the freedom of Coa, and the Great Truth to be told once again to all. Fighting against the Orsed might almost be impossible; however, something is stirring, something supernatural...

People and their views are changing, and suffer from pressures beyond their control. The majority of people are blind to what is better and best for them. Everyone has goals and aspirations, but our flaws and imperfections hinder us. However there is hope as we come to better understand ourselves and overcome our faults, we can achieve our ambitions. There are those that strive to improve themselves for the better. This allegory renders this human struggle for healthy success and overall advancement in the world today.

The Allegory of the Merchant

The Allegory of the Merchant tells the tale of a young apprentice that leaves his master's home to find his way in the world. Always mindful of his master's teachings, the young apprentice methodically applies them to his trade and seemingly "makes it" on his own. But was there something more to his master's teachings? Do "time" and "value" correlate to money? The story is intentionally written simplistically, in what I view as an "old parable" format. Typically, I'm a very vivid writer and I wanted to experiment with this new style. The first draft of The Allegory of the Merchant was actually written by me to a friend via 30+ text messages when I was tripping on acid one night.

The Life of Oscar Otter: An Allegory of the Russian Revolution

This story follows the life of Oscar Otter, a Russian soldier during WWI as he observes and takes part in many of the events that made Russia what it is today. Oscar watches as the Tiger is dethroned and is replaced by Moon as the animals of Russia try and figure out how to save themselves from their terrible mess. When it comes down to it Oscar wonders: was it all worth it?Disclaimer:This is a project that I did for my World History class that my friend said I should publish. I am still working on fine-tuning it and have yet to edit it very thoroughly. I will also be working on expanding the story more. The assignment was to write a fable about what happened in a revolution of our choice and I chose the Russian Revolution. It was required to be a minimum of 2,000 words and mine ended up being more than 12,000.
