Just when you think you've put something behind you for good, you look back and find it trails you like your very own comet's tail, lighting a path through the dark. Reading through these pages, you'll come across a book within a book, what I call the "Waterfall Poems". Each poem speaks to an image etched in memory, as I recount a very long, terrifying, and important dream. The kind of dream that slays you, then rebuilds you one tiny piece at a time, over a period of many years.Overall, "Express baggage and all" maps a deep psychological journey, undertaken as a healing transition from one difficult life passage to another. Behind the poetic words and vibrant wordings, the story trapped in it's daydreaming but filled with bizarre inhumanity will be covered up as greed, ignorance, meaningless welfare take over the seemingly pretty story.
