Narae's pov

"Well okay then, but I need to see Jungwoo and Taeil first, to make sure that I'm-" and he cuts me off.

"Jungwoo and Taeil, I need you to check Narae's health, we're going to medic unit now" he hung up the phone and got up.

"And where do you think you're going?"

"Well, just follow me, quick!"

"Geez fine"

We stepped in the elevator and went down. The door opened and this floor smells like medicines.

"Am I the only one that smelled medicine?"

"This is where the medic team work, that's why it smells all medicine"

"Oh okay" We went in the room that was labeled "Medic Team Leaders"

Taeyong went in the room without knocking and sat on one of the chairs.

"Hurry, check her now" He casually said

"What the- first, you didn't knock the door, and then you just casually sit down like that? Yah! We're the leaders here!"

"And then? I own this building and I'm the leader here"

"Well, that's true but you need to knock first!"

"Fine fine, now, check her"

"What's wrong? Is she hurt or something?"

"No, I want her health update. This is for work"

" *Sighs* Okay, just wait for a bit"

They examined me, asked me some questions and all that stuff. Few minutes later, they told us the results.

"She's in a pretty good shape. Her scars are not giving her any soreness and she can go back to training if she wants to"

"Great! Now, what would you say?"

He looked at me with high expectations

"Well, I accept your offer"

"Good! welcome to NCT"
"welcome to what now?!"

"Go get some rest, okay?" I went up to my room, closing the door behind me.

It was evening and I decided to take a nap after a long day. Few hours later, I woke up and felt something warm embracing me.

Or should I say someone.

I opened my eyes and met with his sleeping face. His cheeks pressed on the pillow, lips pouting. I poked his cheek and he shuffled a little.

" *Chuckles* Hey, wake up.. it's almost six"

" *Groans* Just a few minutes more"  this boy.

"Come on, let's go downstairs"

"Fine.."

He turned around, laying on his back. I got up and turned on the lights.

"Let's go~" I pulled him up and both of us went out the room.

"Oi lovebirds! Conference room now" Renjun walked away after he said that.

" *Sighs* I don't know how many meetings I've attended today"

"That's what you call working"

He opened the door and we went in. All of them were there already and they looked at us, smirking and wiggling their eyebrows.

"What? I was taking a nap"

"Yeah right.."

"Yah!"

"Okay stop it, go take a sit the both of you" I glared at them and sat next to Johnny.

"Having a good nap?"

"Shut up, I know you're just teasing me"

" *Chuckles* You know me"

"Alright, I know it's almost six but I can't wait too long to tell you this" he showed something on the screen and it was my profile.

"Why are you showing us Narae's profile? We knew her already, four months of living with her"

"You tired seeing my face everyday, Haechan?"

"No, I'm sick of it"

"Yah, you- ugh.."

"Cut it Haechan, Narae. So as you can see, it's not just that. Let me show you something interesting"

"Join what? Isn't she part of our family already? What is there to join?"

"Wow, there's a lot of work to do"

"Fighting and shooting are basically the same but we decided to divide it into two units, like, if someone can't shoot then they can just, fight, uhm, how do I explain this"

"It's like if you can't do this, then you do that" Doyoung said.

I gulped at how many trainings I will be doing. So this how it feels like to join a gang. But that's okay.

"The ones that are not labeled as the Aces doesn't mean they're not skilled, it's just the Aces are like, the underbosses" Doyoung explained as Taeyong nodded at the statement.

"And the trainers are chosen in their best position to train you, like, my best position is hacking, so I'll be the one that train you, you understand?"

"Yes"

"Alright"

"That's the end of explanation. You have any more questions about this?"

"No"

"Alright. Then we'll start the training tomorrow"

"What?! Tomorrow?!"

"Yeah, why?" But why so sudden?

"Can't I start next week or next month?"

"Oh, no honey. This is NCT" Johnny said, flipping his non-existent long hair.

"But it will be scheduled, don't worry, like five hours with hacking, five hours with spying, and then the next day hours with investigating"

"Aight guys! I'm going to bed now since tomorrow I'm going to be busy for a whole ten hours"

"Yah where do you think you're going huh?"

After the meeting, I went to my room and took a shower. I went downstairs after wearing my PJs and joined the others.

I took a sit next to Jaehyun and watched the tv. Something came up to my mind and decided to just ask him

"Is hacking difficult?"

"Hm? Well, at first, yes, but as you get used to it, it will be easy. Don't worry, your brother will help you *smirks* "

"Aish look at you, full of yourself" he chuckled and continued watching the tv.

"We'll go to the headquarter tomorrow, Narae will train there and the ones who aren't involved during the training sessions will be given a task or a mission" Taeyong said as he jogged downstairs

"Don't wake up late Narae"

"Did you just make fun of me?" He smirked and skipped his way to the kitchen.

"He's right tho" Jaehyun said, focusing on the tv.
