The police put cuffs around the boys wrist and put them in the car going to the jail station.

"Man I didn't even mean to do it" Jah said.

"Yeah I know X did it not you" Stokeley said referring to Jahseh's "other half". Jah let out a sigh.

"What is my mama going to think when she see's her son in jail" Jah said.

"Man same but let's stop thinking about it" Stokeley said.

When they made it to the jail station Jah could already see his mom at the front desk. He walked in still with the handcuffs on. When he tried to get closer to her the officer stopped him.

"Sir this way" He said. Jah let out a sigh and was about to do what he said until stopped by his mother.

"Jah baby are you alright" She said trying to get closer to him.

"Sorry ma'am but you can't see him right now until court" The police said.

"No I don't want my son there" She said while a tear ran down her face.

Jah looked away because he couldn't stand seeing his mother cry. He was put into a cell with Stokeley and some other people until court the next day.

"What did your mom say" Jah asked Stokeley.

"She cussed me the fuck out and started yelling at me talking about "I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO END UP JUST LIKE YO DADDY" and "YOU A DISAPPOINTMENT STOKELEY" like damn chill" He said while laughing a little bit.

"What about you"Stoke asked.

"She didn't get to say much but she did cry a little bit" Jah said lowly and putting his hands through his black and blonde dreads.

"Damn man, we really fucked up this time" Stokely said.

"Yeah I guess, he lucky I didn't have enough time to kill his ass" Jah said making them both laugh.

....

"Jahseh Onfroy and Stokeley Goulbourne, it's time" One of the guards said.

The boys didn't get much sleep because there weren't any beds.

"Here you guys go" The officer said handing them some black slacks and a white button up shirt. The boys looked at each other in confusion.

"What we have these for" Stokeley asked.

"It's for a good impression for the judge" The officer said.

"Where we going to change"Jah asked

"Right here" The officer said pointing to a small room. Jah nodded and went inside to change then Stoke went in after.

"Is Mr. Onfroy here today" The judge said with a boring tone.

Jahseh walked up to the desk that was facing the judge. He looked back in the crowd and saw his mother and Stokeley's mom.

"Im sorry" Jah mouthed to his mother. She just looked down.

"So Mr. Onfroy you are here for assault.  Javion Moses has several injuries but your lucky that he didn't press charges against you" The judge stated.

"Do we have anything to say before I tell you your options Onfroy" He asked Jah.  Jahseh shooked his head.

"Well ok then. Since you didn't kill anyone we will send you to a Juvenile Mental Center. There they will help you with your mental state and hopefully you'll get better. But if I ever hear anything from you again you're going to jail." He finally said.

Jahseh was relieved that he didn't have to go to jail. Maybe juvie was the best thing for him.

"You will be going right now" The judge said. Jah walked back to the officers where they took him and put handcuffs back on him.

"Let me see him first" Jah's mother said fighting with a guard. They finally let her go and check on him.

"Jah I don't have much time but be safe and stay out of trouble, it's for the best" She said before walking away.

Jah wanted to cry but he couldn't something in his body was taking over.
