The students stood frozen on the spot as they watched Y/N's hand tighten around Wu-jin's neck, his face growing red as he gasped for breath. Even Cheong-san found he couldn't move, watching his sister's eyes grow bloodshot and unfocused. It was as if she was no longer in control. Could it be she was turning into one of the monsters outside?

"Y/N!" Su-hyeok exclaimed, causing her to flinch.

He surged forward a moment later, placing his hand on her shoulder, as Wu-jin's eyes rolled into the back of his head, losing consciousness. Su-hyeok squeezed Y/N's shoulder, watching as her fingers loosened a little on Wu-jin's neck. Su-hyeok winced as he heard her bones snapping along her arm as if she was fighting against what her body wanted her to do.

"Let him go" Su-hyeok insisted, as Y/N's brow furrowed.

All of a sudden, her palm was opening and Wu-jin was flopping to the ground, collapsing in a heap by her feet. Y/N stumbled back a few paces, appearing to have come out of the aggressive trance, her eyes returning to their normal colour almost instantly. She felt relief course through her as Wu-jin sucked in a deep breath, clutching at his sore neck.

"Are you okay?" Cheong-san questioned, rushing over to his sister.

"You're unbelievable, Cheong-san! She almost killed Wu-jin and you're asking if she's okay?!" Ji-min shouted, as Dae-su rushed to Wu-jin's side, helping him to sit upright.

"You attacked her first! You tried to push Y/N out the window!" Cheong-san spat out.

"And you should have let me" Ji-min muttered, as Cheong-san's face contorted into rage.

Su-hyeok could see the change in his friend's face and rushed over to him, just in time to stop him lunging at Ji-min. He wrapped his arms around Cheong-san, dragging him away from the girl, knowing how protective he was of his sister.

"Stop fighting. We're friends. We need to work together!" On-jo told them, as Dae-su nodded.

"Y/N didn't mean to hurt Wu-jin, did you?" Dae-su pointed out, as everyone turned to the younger girl.

"...No. I was just...I was angry..." Y/N murmured, not understanding her own actions.

"People don't usually strangle others when they're angry" Wu-jin scoffed, pushing himself to his feet.

"You hit Su-hyeok. You shouldn't have done that" Y/N stated, in a warning tone.

"So, you'll try to kill me again if I touch Bare-su?" Wu-jin gaped, as she gave a small shrug.

"No one's killing anyone" On-jo interjected, pushing herself in between the two.

"...We should throw her out" Ji-min announced, as even Wu-jin appeared surprised by her words.

"She should be out there with the other zombies" Ji-min went on, as Cheong-san began fighting against Su-hyeok's grip on him again.

"You try to hurt Y/N again and I'll throw you out the window myself!" Cheong-san exclaimed.

"Shit, I can see where your sister gets her aggression from" Su-hyeok huffed, struggling to keep his hold on Cheong-san.

"You'll help me throw her out, won't you?" Ji-min suggested, turning to Hyo-ryung, whose eyes went wide.

"What if she bites us?" Hyo-ryung questioned, in a scared tone.

"She won't be able to if enough of usโ€”" Ji-min's voice was cut off by the loud sound of glass smashing.

Everyone turned in shock to find Nam-ra had thrown a chair out of one of the classroom windows. Every time she tried to speak, to make them see sense, someone had talked over her. But not anymore. Now, she had their full attention.

"Y/N didn't bite Su-hyeok. She didn't even try. And Ji-min and Wu-jin attacked first. If anyone is in the wrong, it's both of you" Nam-ra explained.

"I did think about biting him. I...I wanted to" Y/N confessed, watching as fear flashed over her classmate's faces.

"That's not true. You wouldn't hurt me" Su-hyeok insisted.

"You don't know that" Y/N sighed, looking down at her hand which was still twitching.

"Yes, I do. I trust you, Y/N" Su-hyeok told her, as she gave him a small smile.

"And that's why I shouldn't stay with you anymore. Because I can't trust myself" Y/N explained, as Su-hyeok shook his head, vehemently.

"Hey, stop that. Don't let them get into your head. You're...you're fine" Su-hyeok told her, despite the fact he could see one of her eyes still appeared bloodshot.

"She's not like the things out there. Y/N still knows who she is...maybe like Gwi-nam..." Cheong-san trailed off, with a frown.

"In the movies, there are always people who are immune, right?" On-jo nodded.

"Still, she tried to bite him. She could have turned him into a zombie" Ji-min insisted, crossing her arms.

As much as Y/N hated to admit it, Ji-min was right. The fact that she had been so close to infecting Su-hyeok made her feel sick. She couldn't take that risk. Not with the people she cared about. She was a danger to them now.

"Leaving will solve everything...I'm sorry" Y/N mumbled, before she began walking toward the door, coming to a sudden halt when she felt someone grab her arm.

"No! I won't let you leave. You're my sister! We have to stick together no matter what" Cheong-san pleaded, his grip strong on her arm.

"I'm already dead, Cheong-san. I died as soon as I got bit" Y/N argued, when Su-hyeok reached out to grab her other hand.

"Your hands are still warm. Everyone else who turned was cold. You're not like them" Su-hyeok stated, running his thumb over the back of her hand.

"We need to focus on how we can get to the roofโ€”" Nam-ra announced, but she was immediately cut off by Ji-min.

"No! She may be fine now, but she could turn at any time. Guys, say something! This is a mistake! She said she wanted to bite him, remember? She has zombie blood in her veins! Zombies killed my mom and dad..." Ji-min argued, as Y/N looked away with a guilty expression.

"Y/N hasn't killed anyone. She saved me" Su-hyeok muttered, crouching down to tear off some red fabric from one of the nearby curtains.

He then marched back over to the younger girl, and took her hand in his. She frowned as he started tying the red fabric around her wrist, wondering if he was planning to bind her hands together. Her eyes snapped up to his when she watched him tie a knot around his own wrist, binding her to him.

"Stop it. Stop!" Y/N insisted, trying to push his hands away.

"Y/N. Just...let me help you" Su-hyeok exclaimed, reaching up to cup her cheek for a moment, causing her to go still under his touch.

"Hold still" He soothed, pulling his hand back, before finishing the knot around his own wrist.

"Happy now? This way, she can't get to you if she turns. She'll bite me instead" Su-hyeok stated, holding up their bound wrists, as Y/N shook her head from side to side.

"You're the craziest guy I've ever met" Y/N mumbled, as Su-hyeok's lips twitched into a smile.

"I'll take that as a compliment" He grinned at her, as Y/N felt her heart skip a beat.

----------------------

Su-hyeok and Y/N sat by the broken window, staring at the bright sky outside, wondering what they were going to do. Even if they did manage to get out, how would they hide Y/N's infection? If any soldiers saw her bite marks, would they just shoot her on sight? Y/N's head snapped up as she heard Dae-su's singing from the other side of the classroom, having to suppress her laughter when she realised he was talking about fried chicken.

"You should keep singing, Dae-su. Maybe it'll be enough to scare the zombies away" Y/N teased, as she turned to her friend.

The others all but flinched at the sound of her voice, causing the grin on her face to immediately falter. They were still terrified of her. But Dae-su didn't appear to feel the same, simply rolling his eyes at her.

"Ah, I thought becoming a half-zombie would help your hearing" Dae-su retorted.

"Half-zombie?" Wu-jin frowned.

"Half-bie? No...Hambie?" Dae-su shrugged, trying to figure out what the best name was.

"She still has zombie blood in her veins" Ji-min muttered, turning away from Y/N, who pursed her lips in response.

"Give it a rest, Ji-min" Su-hyeok exclaimed, glaring at his classmate.

"I don't need you to stick up for me. I can handle myself" Y/N scoffed, crossing her arms.

"Yeah...I noticed" Su-hyeok mumbled, with a small grin.

"How're you feeling?" Su-hyeok questioned, a moment later.

"I'm not about to take a chunk out of your neck if that's what you're worried about" Y/N told him, as Su-hyeok reached out to poke the side of her head.

"I meant up here. How're you...coping?" Su-hyeok asked, his hand lowering to rest on her shoulder.

"On the verge of a breakdown, but...I guess I'm lucky someone keeps pulling me back from the edge" Y/N said, with a shy smile.

"Ah, they do sound pretty great" Su-hyeok murmured, sharing her expression.

"...Why do you care so much about what happens to me, Su-hyeok? You don't even know me" Y/N couldn't help but question, seeing a small blush rise over Su-hyeok's cheeks.

"I thinkโ€”" Su-hyeok's words were cut off as they heard the faint sound of cheering from across the room.

Y/N's gaze fell on Ji-min who had picked up a discarded camcorder, playing the last footage caught on the device. She soon switched the video off, instead choosing to make her own farewell speech. Y/N listened intently as a few stray tears rolled down the girl's cheeks.

"Hi, Mom. Hi, Dad. I'll stay alive and get revenge. I'll kill all the zombies...all of them" Ji-min announced, her eyes darting over to Y/N for just a moment.

Y/N grimaced at Ji-min's words, wondering just how far the teenager was prepared to take her threat. Would she actually try to kill her? What about the rest of the group? Was she expendable to them now? She was grateful when she felt Su-hyeok's hand squeeze her shoulder, feeling his comforting warmth through her school shirt.

"I should say something" Su-hyeok suggested, watching as Ji-min passed the camcorder to the others.

"Like what? Don't worry about Y/N, she's one of the good zombies?" Y/N huffed, looking down at her hands.

"We should be throwing her out instead" Su-hyeok muttered, still glaring at Ji-min, making Y/N snort.

"You never would. You're too good" Y/N stated, poking him in the ribs.

"I wasn't always" Su-hyeok admitted, causing her to frown.

"You wouldn't hurt a flyโ€”" Y/N started, but Su-hyeok cut her off quickly.

"I used to be friends with Gwi-nam" Su-hyeok blurted out, watching her reaction intently.

"...Ah, it all makes sense now. You have really bad taste in friends. You wouldn't be hanging out with me otherwise" Y/N mocked, surprising him.

"You're not mad?" Su-hyeok frowned, the secret having been on his mind all day.

"I think after all the shit of the last couple of days, we all deserve a clean slate. But...if you really want, I can hit you?" Y/N grinned, raising her hand up in the air.

"Maybe later" Su-hyeok laughed, nudging her arm with his elbow, in a playful gesture.

Y/N opened her mouth to tease him further when she heard her brother's voice echo across the room, surprised to see him giving his own farewell message. The thought of anything happening to her brother had something painful twisting in her chest.

"Mom. It's me. I hope you're okay. Dad, too. Stay inside, don't come for me. I'm...I'm good. I'm with Y/N, don't worry I'll look after her..." Cheong-san trailed off, dropping the camera to his side, as a sickening realisation hit him.

He hadn't looked after his little sister.

She had been bitten. And he hadn't protected her. His eyes snapped up to Y/N, who had a strange expression on her face. Something akin to panic.

"Y/N?" Su-hyeok exclaimed, noticing how her shoulders had gone rigid.

"Mom..." Y/N mumbled, under her breath.

Oh, God. She had forgotten about her Mom. Where was she? Still, in the school? Had she made it out? Wouldn't she have found them by now? Unless...

Y/N scrunched her eyes shut, trying to control her breathing as panic coursed through her veins. She had left her mother out there. If Cheong-san found out, what would he do? As if on cue, a hand clasped Y/N's shoulder, as she looked up to see her brother looming over her, the camcorder in his other hand.

"Do you want to leave a message for Mom and Dad too?" Cheong-san inquired, oblivious to Y/N's panic.

"I don't really have anything to say" Y/N shrugged, not meeting his eyes.

"You should untie that now" Cheong-san suggested, reaching out for the red knot that was connecting Su-hyeok and Y/N.

His brow furrowed when she pulled their joined hands away, still refusing to look at him. Cheong-san tried and failed to hide the hurt that flashed across his face, before handing the camcorder to Su-hyeok. He opened his mouth to ask Y/N what was wrong, but Su-hyeok shook his head, giving his friend a pointed look. Cheong-san let out a long sigh before walking away, his shoulders slumped.

"You're scared of hurting him?" Su-hyeok guessed.

"According to my Mom, I'm pretty good at hurting people" Y/N stated, fidgeting with her free hand.

"I don't want to leave a message for my Mom either" Su-hyeok confessed, dropping the camcorder onto the table behind them.

"You really don't think she'll be worried about you?" Y/N queried, earning nothing but a shrug in response.

"And there's no else you want to leave a message for?" Y/N pushed.

"Everyone I care about is in this room" Su-hyeok admitted, as their eyes connected, causing Y/N's heart to falter for a moment.

"...I think there is someone I want to say goodbye to..." Y/N trailed off, grabbing the camcorder, holding it up to her face, and pressing play.

"Su-hyeok. Thank you for not giving up on me. I'm sorryโ€”" Y/N began, when the boy in question grabbed her wrist, pushing the camcorder away.

"What are you doing?" He gaped.

"You can listen to this when I'm gone. So, you won't forget me" Y/N explained, as Su-hyeok's eyes softened.

"You don't need to leave me a message. We're staying together. No matter what" Su-hyeok insisted, taking the camcorder from her hand, and turning it off.

"Even if I try to bite you?" Y/N frowned, as Su-hyeok gave an earnest nod.

"Why?" Y/N couldn't help but ask.

Fear flashed over Su-hyeok's face, as he chewed on his bottom lip, clearly conflicted with something. He slowly turned in his chair so he was facing Y/N, his eyes firmly on their bound hands.

"...I like you" Su-hyeok confessed, in a small voice, as Y/N's mouth went slack.

"You don't have to say anything. If you don't feel the sameโ€”" Su-hyeok stuttered, trailing off when he felt Y/N wrap her hand over his.

Before he had the chance to say anything else, she was suddenly leaning forward, her gaze on his mouth. Y/N's heart was beating so fast she thought her chest would explode when her lips finally touched Su-hyeok's. Everything around them melted away for a moment, as butterflies erupted in her stomach, and her lips tingled. She pulled back an inch, finding Su-hyeok's eyes wide and his cheeks reddened. An apology was on the tip of her tongue when his hand suddenly reached for the nape of her neck and their lips crashed together. Su-hyeok's mouth was warm and firm against her own, as he pulled her closer, tilting his head to deepen the kiss. Y/N brought her own hands up to grip his white school shirt, able to feel how fast his own heart was beating. The pair were breathless when they finally pulled apart, foreheads still touching, eyes still closed, lost in their own little world for a few more moments.

"I like you too" Y/N exclaimed, with a small smile.

"That's good to know" Su-hyeok mumbled, eyes dropping back to her lips, closing the distance between them once again.

Y/N returned the kiss for a few moments, before reluctantly pushing him away, gesturing to her brother, who appeared oblivious to their actions. Thank God. Zombie apocalypse or not, Cheong-san would still throw Su-hyeok out the window for touching his sister.

"After this is all over...maybe we can go to Hyeon-ju together?" Su-hyeok suggested, causing Y/N to grin.

"Like a date?" She questioned, as Su-hyeok gave a shy shrug.

"If we survive this, we can go anywhere you want" Y/N mumbled, a hint of sadness in her voice now.

"We will. We're both going to make it, Y/N. I promise" Su-hyeok insisted, squeezing her hand.

Y/N suddenly twisted around in her chair, hearing a strange noise echoing through the corridor. She was on her feet a moment later, dragging Su-hyeok toward the window by their binding. She frowned, trying to concentrate on the sound, and figure out what she was hearing. The others came to crowd around her, Y/N's behaviour putting them all on edge.

"What the hell?" She muttered, eyes narrowed.

"What is it? Do you hear something?" Su-hyeok inquired, as she nodded.

"I think...I think someone's puking" Y/N replied, pushing her hair back behind her ear, listening closer.

"Y/N...your ear..." Nam-ra trailed off, noticing thin red lines were protruding from her ear toward her cheek.

"What if she's finally starting to turn?" Hyo-ryung whispered to On-jo, as Y/N whipped around to face her.

"What does that mean?" Y/N snapped.

Hyo-ryung stuttered over her words, taking a step back as she noticed the way Y/N's eyes had darkened, as if expecting the girl to jump across the room and bite her. Y/N felt her hands ball into fists at the clear lack of trust.

"Are you scared?" Y/N asked, able to hear how Hyo-ryung's breath had quickened.

"Stop that" Hyo-ryung retorted, crossing her arms over her chest.

Y/N's brow furrowed as she found she could now hear Hyo-ryung's heart beating, even metres away from the girl in question. It was getting louder and louder, almost deafening her. Y/N's eyes darted across the classroom, landing on Ji-min who was breathing heavily under her watchful gaze.

"What?" Ji-min exclaimed, defensively.

Her eyes then moved to Joon-yeong, who was playing with the zip of his bag, the noise grating on Y/N's nerves. A farting sound caught her attention, as she looked to Wu-jin, who blushed, his hands fanning at the air around him. Y/N bit her inner cheek to hold in her laughter, knowing it would only freak people out if she suddenly started giggling. Maybe she was losing her mind...

"What do you hear now?" On-jo inquired.

"The noise has stopped now...but I don't think we should stay here. We have no defences, if the zombies get in...we're fucked" Y/N explained.

"We should have gone to the roof when the music was playing" Dae-su sighed, flopping down onto one of the chairs.

"...Music. Music!" Y/N suddenly cried, rushing toward the camcorder, an idea having formed in her head.

"Shit, your sister's really lost it" Wu-jin muttered to Cheong-san, who slapped his shoulder, roughly.

"We can play the song on the camcorder, and get the zombies to come to us!" Y/N suggested, as Ji-min rolled her eyes.

"And then what? We all turn into zombies like you?" She scoffed, as Nam-ra took a step forward.

"No. We use it as a distraction like before. We lure them in one end of the room...and run out from the other" Nam-ra announced, as Y/N nodded, excitedly.

---------------------------

The group got to work with connecting the camcorder to the television in the room and creating a barrier to separate them from the hundreds of zombies they planned to lure toward them. It was a dangerous plan, but it was the only chance they had. Y/N was about to help the others, when Cheong-san came to stand in front of her, his arms crossed.

"We need to untie that" Cheong-san told them, reaching for their joined wrists, but the pair pulled away.

"No one will trust you like this. Because you're making it clear you don't trust yourself" Cheong-san explained, as Y/N bit her lip.

"He's right. You haven't hurt anyone and it's been hours since you were bitten. We just need to help the others trust you now" Nam-ra went on, as she touched Y/N's wrist and slowly began to untie the red knot.

"I can see why they made you Class President now" Y/N said, giving her a small smile, which was quickly returned.

"Ah, why do you listen to her and not your own brother?" Cheong-san pouted, as Y/N reached out to ruffle his dark hair with her fingers.

"Because I never listen to you, big brother" She grinned.

"So annoying" Cheong-san muttered, despite the way his lips twitched into a smile.

They had soon managed to create a large barrier, with the chairs and desks that had been dotted around the room. It was difficult to tie the objects together, but they worked as quickly as they could. Y/N even surprised herself by picking up a table all by herself, wondering whether the adrenaline of the day was causing her to appear stronger.

"Alright. I think that's good enough" On-jo announced, as the others nodded, and began to make their way over to the safe side of the barricade.

"Why aren't you coming over?" On-jo frowned, when she noticed Cheong-san hadn't moved.

"Well, someone has to stay to open the door" Cheong-san pointed out, making Y/N cringe, having forgotten about that part.

"Couldn't you have come up with a better plan?" Dae-su complained.

"It's okay. I'll be quick" Cheong-san insisted.

"Wait. I'll come too" Su-hyeok announced, jumping over a cabinet to stand beside him.

"It's fine" Cheong-san retorted, as Y/N was quick to follow.

"It's not fine. And neither of you are opening the door...I am" Y/N informed them, as both boys raised their eyebrows.

"No. No way" Cheong-san exclaimed.

"Not a chance" Su-hyeok added, as Y/N placed her hands on her hips.

"I'm already bit, idiots. Those zombies can't hurt me. But they can still hurt you. I'm not letting that happen" Y/N stated, grabbing them by their school shirts and dragging them toward the barrier with a surprising amount of strength.

"Y/N, just because they won't bite you, doesn't mean they won't hurt you if you get in their way. Just let me do this" Cheong-san pleaded, as Y/N shook her head.

"Don't make me throw you over there, Cheong-san" Y/N warned, as her brother cursed under his breath, but reluctantly jumped over to the other side of the barricade.

"Be quick" Su-hyeok told her, reaching out to link their hands together for a moment, earning a quick nod in response.

Before she could say anything else, Su-hyeok leant down to press a kiss to her lips, causing her eyes to flutter shut, any worry about what she was about to do, fading away momentarily. Y/N brought her free hand to clutch at his shirt, pulling him closer, not wanting the kiss to end. With a shy smile, the two slowly parted, as Su-hyeok ran his thumb over the back of her hand, in a comforting gesture. He turned around to jump over the barricade, coming to a halt when he saw how Cheong-san's face had paled, his jaw dropped open.

"Did you know they were dating, Cheong-san?" Dae-su whispered to his friend.

"What?" He exclaimed, when Cheong-san gave him a deathly glare.

Y/N bit her lip to stop her laughter as Su-hyeok hopped over to the other side, coming face to face with her brother's angry expression. If looks could kill...

"If we survive this...I'm gonna' kill you" Cheong-san muttered, with a shake of his head.

"Worth it" Su-hyeok shrugged, cheekily, causing Cheong-san to purse his lips.

"Ah, can we open the doors already?" Ji-min complained.

"Get ready" Y/N announced, as she turned around and made her way to the wooden door, taking a deep breath.

She regretted her choice for a moment, as she reached for the handle of the sliding door, before shaking her head. If it kept Cheong-san and Su-hyeok safe, that was all that mattered. Tensing up, she pulled the door open, eyes growing wide when she found a zombie only inches from her face. It was racing forward a second later, falling over a chair that had been placed in the doorway, as she Y/N sprinted toward the barricade. She made it over just in time, grabbing a table and shoving it into the gap she had jumped over. In mere seconds, dozens of zombies had entered the room, able to hear the classmate's panicked voices immediately. Joon-yeong began to play the choir sound on the TV, causing more and more zombies to pile into the classroom. The zombies were stronger than they had expected, causing parts of their barricade to fall apart. Cheong-san ducked as a chair almost struck him on the head, but was quickly caught by Y/N. She placed her hands out in front of her, steadying the bookshelf at the foundation of the barricade with ease.

"Dae-su, you need to make some noise!" On-jo cried, seeing that there were still dozens of zombies along the corridor.

"Die, zombies! Fucking die!" Dae-su yelled, almost deafening Y/N.

He continued shouting as more than a hundred zombies sprinted into the room, all clawing at Y/N and her friends. She wasn't sure how much longer the barricade would stand. On-jo then began banging on a set of drums, as most of the girls followed suit, trying to create more noise with the musical instruments in the room. Y/N grimaced at the sound, clutching at her head, her ears ringing painfully. God, it hurt so bad.

"Y/N?" Su-hyeok cried, his hands suddenly on her shoulders.

"I...I'm fine. We need to keep the barricade up" Y/N groaned, shoving her body against the cabinet, still trying to help.

Her eyes grew wide as she spotted a zombie was crawling over the top of the barricade, its hands only inches from Nam-ra's head. Grabbing a nearby chair, Y/N chucked the object toward the zombie, gasping when she found she managed to cut the creature's head off with the chair. She grabbed Nam-ra's arm, pulling her away in case any other zombies tried to jump over.

"It's not going to hold! We need to go!" Dae-su insisted, as they all looked to Wu-jin, who was looking outside the window.

"We can't. Just hold on a little longer" Wu-jin pleaded, seeing more zombies racing down the hall.

Minutes later, and more of the zombies were crawling over the top, as Y/N and Su-hyeok desperately tried to shove them away using whatever they could. The barricade was falling apart from the weight of the creatures, as the rope holding it all together started to snap.

"Clear! We have to go now!" Wu-jin suddenly exclaimed, opening the back door.

The girls were the first to run to the doorway, apart from Y/N, who stayed close by Su-hyeok's side. On-jo called Cheong-san over, who reluctantly went to join her, but refused to go any further until his sister was beside him. Dae-su stayed where he was holding up one of the cupboards until everyone else had left the room. Su-hyeok and Y/N then grabbed his arms and dragged him out of the room, just as the barricade finally fell.

Su-hyeok stayed at the back of the group, making sure everyone else made it to the stairwell before him. Thankfully their plan seemed to have worked, as they sprinted up flight after flight of stairs. Su-hyeok was so busy looking after everyone else, he tripped over one of the steps, falling to his knees. Y/N was by his side instantly, grabbing his hand and hauling him upright.

"Don't let go" Y/N insisted, as Su-hyeok gave her hand a squeeze, before they were running again.

Her heart dropped as they finally made it to the doors that led to the roof...only to find they were locked. The boys tried desperately to open them, running at them, using all their strength, but it was no good. They'd never be able to force them open.

"They're coming" Y/N gulped, hearing the zombies frantic footsteps.

Cheong-san and Su-hyeok gripped onto the metal easels in their hands, standing at the foot of the stairs, readying themselves for a fight. Y/N came to stand in between them, taking her pocketknife out of her pocket, feeling how her hand twitched. She felt strangely excited for the fight. She wanted to rip something apart.

The zombies appeared all that once, lunging at the three, who tried their best to fight them off. Su-hyeok's easel was quick to fall apart, leaving him defenceless. He would have been bitten if Y/N hadn't sent her knife into the head of zombie who was inches away from his face. Using all his strength, Su-hyeok sent three zombies flying down the stairs with nothing but his hands, while Cheong-san knocked one out using his easel. Suddenly, Cheong-san was thrown onto his back, as a zombie clawed at him, only to be thrown off by Su-hyeok. Y/N grabbed a zombie who had snuck behind him, gripping onto her hair, and shoving her head into the wall, shattering the creature's skull. But still, it wasn't enough.

"A little help?!" Y/N shouted, seeing the others standing uselessly on the stairs.

"Throw this over them!" Nam-ra exclaimed, grabbing some blue tarp and unravelling it.

The group worked quickly to throw the tarp down the stairs, covering the zombies who grew confused and disorientated. Y/N let out a sigh of relief, looking over Cheong-san and Su-hyeok, relieved to find they hadn't been bitten. The sound of footsteps suddenly grabbed Y/N's attention, eyes growing wide with fear.

"Oh, shit" She mumbled.

"What's wrong?" Su-hyeok frowned.

He soon got his answer as Gwi-nam pushed his way past the blue tarp, holding a female zombie out in front of him. A horrible smirk grew on his lips, as his gaze fell on Cheong-san and his sister.

"Ready for a re-match?" He grinned.
