Jimmy's POV

jimmy had connected back with his team right after that little run in with tiffany and he felt pretty bad about completely cracking her phone screen up. he had of course known of tiffany before their little run in, i am who didn't know of her but before that he thought tiffany was fine but in person he thought she looked even better. he needed to know more about her, something was luring him in.

"sooo you just gonna act like we ain't saw you tryna shoot your shot huh?" bam asked looking over at jimmy.

"nigga i was not tryna shoot my shot" jimmy laughed shaking his head. it was true though he had no intention of running into tiffany like that.

"so what were you doing" tyler asked tilting his head and laughing.

"it's a long ass story but i wasn't tryna shoot my shot i swear" jimmy said putting his hands up in defense trying to hold back his laughter

"but aye lets just get back to this damn game and get the dub" jimmy laughed, patting both bam and tyler on the back.

about 30 mins later..

they had just ended the 3rd quarter and the heat were up by a good 7 points, the game was still close and the lakers still had time to catch up.

" ima need you guys to step it up when it comes to those defensive plays" coach spo yelled at the players.

"we can't keep letting davis and james get into the paint for those easy layups, play more rough and when it comes to our offensive plays keep doing what y'all doing." coach said

they were now well into the 4th quarter, the game was close heat 113 lakers 111

james goes up for the layup misses and draws the foul. lakers now at 113 to tie the game with only 10 seconds left on the clock. both teams left with zero timeouts.

"jimmy we're gonna get you ready for that open corner three man their not gonna see it coming" dragić whispers to jimmy.

jimmy just slowly nodded his head, he was a little nervous cause of tiffany but at that moment he just focused on needing to win, he knew he could make that three.

The game was tied with 10 seconds left and everyone was at the edge of their seats, the heat had possession of the ball and they just needed to score anything to win the game.

dragić passes the ball to adebayo who appears to be going in to drive but then passes it to butler in the corner! it is butler for the win, butler now shoots the three and it's IN!

JIMMY BUCKETS! coming in clutch with the buzzer beating three for the win!

the heat win it, 116 to 113..

the whole arena was in shock, yells and shouts of excitement coming from everywhere. tiffany was stood up with her hands in the air and mouth wide open

"oh shittt" she said in shock and looks over at tae who had the same shocked expression.

to say she was surprised was an understatement, jimmy was still celebrating with his team and the lakers were getting ready to head straight to the locker room.

"bitch what the fuck just happened" tae yelled into tiffany's ear over the loud crowd

tiffany was laughing her ass off, tae was drunk and whenever he was like this he was hilarious as hell.

"bitch we just fucking lost" tiffany yelled back at him trying to contain her laughter.

"oh my fucking god" tae yelled back laughing in his seat

jimmy was looking over in her direction, she had this adorable smile on her face and jimmy was just stuck in a trance looking at her when he decided to walk up to her to rub that sweet victory in her face.

"what i said, i was gonna beat ur teams ass" jimmy said while walking up to her rubbing his hands together

"that lucky ass shot" tiffany said jokingly

"that lucky ass shot made your team lose" he laughed

"yeah yeah sure, good game tho" tiffany said rolling her eyes sarcastically

"preciate it" he said smiling and nodding his head

that's when bam, tyler and kendrick nunn decided to step into their conversation.

"heyy tiffany it's nice of you, i'm bam, this is tyler, and that's kendrick" bam said with a huge smile on his face pointing to the rookies

"hii nice to meet y'all" tiffany said to the three of them with a laugh and shakes all three of their hands

jimmy just stood there giving them a little surprised look, wondering what they were up too.

"soooo we were wondering if you would be down to slide to jimmy's house over here in LA, he's doing a lil get together with only a few people" bam said while sending a grin jimmy's way.

tiffany looked confused as hell and she looked over at her best friend and he was looking at her with a smirk on his face.

"girl if you don't go ahead and get dicked down" he whispered to her.

well at least he thought it was a whisper since he was pretty much drunk, but in reality he really yelled it in her ear.

bam tilted his head at him and was laughing his ass off along with everyone else.

"anywaysss, but yeah what time jimmy?" tiffany said trying to contain her laughter

"um right after y'all leave here, just give me your number so i can send the address" jimmy said with a cheesy smile on his face.

"bett, i mean i got nothing better to do" tiffany smiled back

she was excited, she was really fuckin with jimmy's whole vibe and was really hoping that maybe he was too. most of the time whenever she met a fine basketball player it was nothing more than just a sneaky link except ben of course, she actually liked ben for the most part but these past few weeks everything about him just seemed off and it was usually like that when they hadn't seen each other in person. but going back to jimmy she could tell there was so much more to jimmy than what she was seeing.

she thought bam was cute too but she didn't really see them being anything more than friends.

this whole situation was odd to her she's really never been the type of person to start a conversation and meet new people, that sounded more like tae to her, she'll rather stay somewhere in the corner and let her best friend do all the talking but her being in the spotlight she needed to step out of her comfort zone more unfortunately.

tiffany and tae decided to wait until the guys finished up in the locker room and with their post game interviews so they could all leave together instead.

while they waited tiffany took a couple pictures here and there with fans in the vip/family section in the back. she didn't think of them as fans though she'll rather think of them as her supporters instead, calling them her fans just sounded arrogant to her. i mean they were the people who helped her be where she is now and she had so much love for them.

she decided to post a picture of her outfit tonight on instagram.

bam, jimmy and tyler finally finished up and tiffany made sure to say goodbye to bron and some of the other staff and teammates before heading out.

jimmy had gone in his own car and bam was in his with a couple other players. while tiffany and tae were slowly following behind them.

"girl u saw ben all up in your comments" tae said looking over at tiffany in the driver seat.

"nah what he said" she asked giving tae a quick glance but keeping her eyes on the road.

"just some thirsty ass shit on your post, this mf really just want some attention" tae said rolling his eyes.

"this man really just can't give up huh?" she said.

"the pussy must have him in love" tae laughed looking back down at his phone.

tiffany laughed "its his fault, niggas get the girl everybody wants and forget she STILL the girl everybody wants" she said shrugging her shoulders.

"preach" tae said while looking up and noticing tiffany's phone.

"girl what the fuck happened to your phone" tae yelled with a confused look on his face.

tiffany started laughing her ass off
"long story short i ran into jimmy and dropped it"

"aye wait a minute, don't you find it weird how we just met the nigga and we already pulling up to his house" tae asked

"i meannnn, shiii" she said dragging her words with a smirk on her face.

tae laughed "girl i can't with you"

about 25 mins later..

that's when they started approaching jimmy's large home and it wasn't far from tiffany's hidden hills mansion.

jimmy was the first to hop out of his car then came bam and the rest of the people with him out of bam's car. jimmy walked up to the driver side of tiffany's rolls royce to open up the door for her.

he opened the door for her and offered her his hand but she stepped out holding onto her car instead, rejecting jimmy's hand to help her out.

"ouchhh" he said putting a hand to his heart

"thank youu for trying tho" tiffany relied smiling, she liked playing a little hard to get.

"aye it's the least i can do" he said putting his hands up and closing her door.

"you know i'm just playing with you butler" she said as she patted his back

"yeah, yeah..." he laughed as he made his way to the entrance of his house.

almost everyone was already there just waiting for him and conversing with one another. there were a good 12 people there and he let them in and lead them straight to the living room handing out bottles of drinks, cards and playing music on the speakers to keep everyone busy.

tiffany was already having a good time getting closer with bam and just getting to know one another more.

"so why la?" bam asked

"why not" tiffany shrugged

bam laughed "ohhh come on now, you from miami why couldn't you go ahead and bless us"

she laughed looking down "well.. i've always been a laker" she shrugged

"i bleed purple and gold, but i fuck with the heat tho, miami will forever be home for me" she smiled

"i bet you love it over there" tiffany said pointing a finger into his chest

"hell yeahhh" bam laughed nodding his head dramatically

jimmy was starting to notice their long on going conversation and decided to walk up to them. he couldn't lie to himself seeing her getting close with another guy made him jealous for some reason, he knew he didn't even have a right to be jealous he just met the girl.

"aye wassup guys" jimmy said sitting down along side them

"heyy jimmy" tiffany smiled

"wassgood jimbo" bam said dapping him up

"you mind if i borrow her real quick" jimmy asked bam pointing to tiffany.

"yeah it's no problem brotha" bam said giving jimmy this cheesy smirk

"damnn since when was i an item to be borrowing" tiffany said standing up and putting her hands in the air

"sorryy i mean, can i talk to you real quick pleaseeee" he said as he puckered his bottom lip

"mhmm sure but only cause i fuck with you" she laughed playfully punching him in the chest.

jimmy celebrated with a little first in the air, acting like a little kid who's mom just said yes to mcdonald's.

"boy if you don't move alonggg" tiffany giggled.

jimmy grabbed her hand and led her to the kitchen where it was more quiet but to where they weren't in a completely empty room, that way she would be more comfortable he thought.

"tell me bout you, i mean that's why i invited you here, to get to know you"

tiffany raised her eyebrows "oh reallyyy butler"

"nahhhh" he said sarcastically tilting his head

"mann what you wanna know" she replied shaking her head and letting out a little giggle
