gon loves the beach; he did grow up on an island. he's the kind to spend most of his time in the water. just, don't task him with packing the bag. he's bound to forget at least 5 things. he also needs to be frequently reminded to reapply sunscreen. he really likes to snorkel and collect little treasures from the shallower end of the water

killua

killua also likes to snorkel, but only found that out by snorkeling with gon. he needs to be reminded the most... alongside gon... to reapply sunscreen. not because he forgets, but because he's so damn white. he's a ghost. he doesn't tan, he burns, and he burns fast as hell

kurapika

kurapika doesn't do all that much at the beach. he's the type to set up a chair under the shade and read the whole time. he was in charge of the cooler so he made sure they had plenty of water. he also brought gatorade (yellow and red) what book did he bring you might be wondering? he brought emma by jane austen.

leorio

leorio is such a dad. he made the lunch (ham and cheese sandwiches), he packed the bag, he loaded the car. he barely let anyone else lift a finger. he makes sure to store away all of gon and killuas treasures. he's the type to venture out further into the ocean and jump waves... except more often than not he eats shit and goes under the water. he does tan nicely,

hisoka

he's the type to suntan. 100%. however, he's super cautious of getting skin cancer, like he does not fuck around with his skin, so he's super cautious about when he puts sunscreen on and how much of it he uses. he has that like... idfk... tinfoil tanning shield thing. out of everyone, he tans the best. he goes from clown white to a lovely sun-kissed tan.

illumi

illumi has the same issue as killua, so he's not as keen on tanning as hisoka is, but he will sit next to hisoka and lay in the sun, but nicely covered by an umbrella. he's either making light conversation with hisoka or reading a book. his book is anything by stephen king, i'll have you know

chrollo

chrollo enjoys standing out at the shallowest end of the water, right where the waves crash, and just observing the scenery. he's probably beckoning other members of the troupe to join him. shalnark, shizuki, pakunoda, and maybe machi will join him. feitain, kortopi, and some of those others... absolutely not.

these 3 like shopping on the pier together. get ice cream cones, go to the surf shop and see what cute clothes they have, go to an oceanside restaurant for lunch. they gossip about the rest of the troupe the whole time.

feitan

the rest of the troupe had to drag feitan to the beach. it is probably his least favorite place to be. he wears black flip flips, black swim trunks, and a back, long sleeve rash guard. he spends nearly the whole time inside their little beach tent, staying cooped up in the shade. he got a good nap in, though

shalnark

shalnark is an avid enjoyer of the beach. he, like gon and killua, likes to swim around and pick up lost trinkets. he likes to play in the sand, too. sometimes he'll be building sandcastles. other times he'll be burying uvogin in the sand.

(no one buries uvo quite as good as kurapika does, though)
