Ray POV

Today was supposed to be Y/N's thirteenth birthday. It's been almost a year since we escaped and since Y/N got separated from us. She's probably training to become a mother or she's dead. 

It's all my mum's fault. 

We were escaping using the ropes and hangers to cross to the other side of the cliff. Everything was going smoothly until Y/N was going to cross. She was the last person to do so. Whilst she attached the hanger, mum appeared and pulled her away and took Y/N with her.

It's all mum's fault. 

Even though she's my biological mother, I just can't help but hate her.

She knew for a long time that I liked Y/N. She probably did what she did out of spite, cause she didn't want to lose completely. 

Thinking about everything that had happened, it all hurts so much.

I'm currently in a shelter with the rest of my family and some farm escapees we saved from a hunting ground called Goldy Pond. 

Despite the situation we're in, everyone is enjoying their time together whilst trying to contact William Minerva. They all have so much hope and determination to get to the human world. Everyone's so happy and I've just been here sitting on my bed, missing her, missing my Y/N.

I just can't let go of her. If she's alive, I'm not sure if I'll see her again once we go back to Grace Field to get Phil and the younger children. 

The only times I get out of my room are to take a shower and have breakfast with everyone. Emma always leaves me an extra plate of food after lunch or dinner at the door. She keeps telling me I should get out and stop worrying. She always says she has a feeling Y/N is alive and that she wouldn't give in to the demons so easily. 

I believe in Y/N and I've always trusted her, but what if she actually did die? How would I live knowing my most favourite person.. is dead?

Timeskip to when they went to Grace Field and defeated Peter Ratri

We reunited with all the children. Phil was crying happy tears as he hugged Emma and Sherry cried once she saw Norman. Gilda, Don, Anna and Nat made sure all of the children were okay and that they weren't hurt. I just watched everyone from afar, but I couldn't help but wonder where Y/N was. 

I suddenly heard a voice cry out my name.

I turned around to see a girl running up to me. Her (h/c), (h/l) hair was down and it flowed with the wind while she ran. She wore a black dress with an apron. Just like the outfit my mother wore. It didn't take me much seconds to realise, the figure was Y/N!

"Ray!" She exclaimed. Tears escaped her pretty (e/c) eyes. "I missed you Ray!"

She wrapped her arms around my neck allowing me to grab her waist and spin her around. I put her down and we cried in each other's arms for a while. 

"I missed you too." I told her.

Y/N explained that on the day of the escape, mother explained that the reason she pulled her behind was because she needed help. At the time, Isabella was still in the mother position and she could not do anything to protest and end the farm completely. Since mum knew Y/N was a mature and strong girl, she told her to train to become a mother so she could easily. If there could be a replacement mother for the plantation Isabella took care of, Isabella could become a grandma and betray Peter Ratri. Y/N agreed to this and they had each others' backs while my family and I were gone. Now, their plan has worked.

The two of us talked about what we did the past years and my mother suddenly approached us. I had no idea what to say to her, but she hugged me and apologised for not being there for me. She told me she loves me and she's proud of me for staying strong. I was glad now. Everything was perfect. We could all leave now and live happily in the human world. 

Y/N and I faced each other as we all prepared for our new life in a safer world.  She buried her head into my chest and whispered, "I love you, Ray."

I didn't kill off Isabella since I wanted a happy ending (plus Isabella's a cool mum)
