she was quite confused to be honest. it was dark outside already and they had spent more than two hours at the arcade, her trying to teach him, just for him to hand all books back now?

"huh? why are you giving all of them back? i thought it was one per lesson?"

"they're kinda heavy to carry around. . ." he answered looking away.

miyu smirked slightly in realisation. he was avoiding her gaze and making awkward expressions with a general awkward body language.

he was obviously lying.

miyu chuckled at how bad the boy was at lying but smiled nevertheless and took the books out of his hands.

"nice! thank you!"

miyu turned to put the books in her bag safely as they werent hers after all while dohwa mumbled a small "see you" before taking his leave.

looking back up at him walking away, miyu felt bad.

did she make him feel incompetent? first telling him that he has no talent at the videogame and then that he is bad at singing?

miyu isnt a person to intentionally make others feel bad. she felt annoyingly comfortable around him even and didn't realise her words could've hurt him.

"hey!" the girl yelled out.

dohwa turned his head around.

"when do you want to meet next?" she smiles playfully.

"i mean our lessons! there are still five left!"

a smirk formed on the guy's face.

"wow park miyu━ is this you asking me out?" he grins teasingly.

miyu scoffed with an amused smile.

"pfh━ i'll go out with you when you win in that zombie game for once! text me when you're free, blondie!"

the girl turned around to leave with a huge grin.

the boy turned the other way looking down with a gentle smile, 'i just have to win, huh?. . .'

the next day miyu had no school luckily, due to the weekend!

she was of course only going to study because of the exams but she did also have books to return.

the girl was already all panicked about not finding her books, so miyu was glad to have all of them now.

she woke up and spent the early morning with the dearest people to her, grandma and mina.

they ate breakfast together and then went into the garden, mina playing while miyu and her grandma were drinking cool drinks while conversing.

moments like these were worth the most to her.

soon she decided to take a shower and get ready to head to suae's house, unannounced at that, because yeah. . .

the girl got into some greyish black balmain pants paired with a cropped white short-sleved jacquemus top. adding some golden jewelery including rings, earrings and bracelets, miyu finished her look.

she then moved on to her hair, just blow-drying it.

as she finished that, miyu applied some lipgloss and took her bag filled with suae's book, exiting the house finally.

she was driven to the apartment which was rather far away from her house, walking couldn't have possibly been an option. . .

with the car miyu managed to get there in about ten minutes. she bid mr. han goodbye for the time even though he would probably be waiting for the girl right there.

as miyu entered the apartment building she got into the elevator and pressed the button to the certain floor.

after a few seconds she arrived at the destination and headed to the front door.

there she firstly scolded herself for thinking coming unannounced would be an good idea as the possibility of suae not even being home was there.

she rang the bell nontheless and heard steps approaching till the door opened to reveal the one and only. . .

yu raim?

"miyu?"

"raim?"

the girls looked at each other stunned till miyu realised that she shouldn't even be confused, this was her home after all!

miyu's lips turned into a smile.

"huh! did you say miyu?" she heard a voice inside say.

"no way park miyu is here!" another voice says.

raim's face turns into one of embarrassment.

"uh━ sorry i invited some of my friends here. . . to study, you know. come in!"

miyu nodded and took her shoes off, enetering the home.

she smiled at the two girls and two boys who's faces turned into ones of amazement.

"wah~ hey miyu!"

"miyu we thought you couldn't come!"

one of the guy's says. this did confuse miyu though.

she wasn't even invited?

"uh━ miyu! why are you here?" raim says interrupts.

the said girl took suae's books out of her bag and smiled slightly while saying, "i came to return suae's books actually. . ."

their faces turned deadpan.

suae again? they thought.

raim nodded slightly and signalized miyu fo follow. together they approached a door which raim knocked on first, an "come in!" was heard and she opened the door.

raim went out of the way as suae's panicked eyes met the ones of miyu's.

miyu smiled gently and waved at her.

raim closed the door leaving the two alone, or so she thought. . .

as the door closed a big figure appeard behind it and miyu almost yelled in surprise if it weren't for eunhyeok covering her mouth.

"what the fuck?!" miyu whisper-yelled.

"park miyu? what are you doing here?" suae acts as if everything was normal.

"your books! i came to give them to you. . . i found them━ yeah, i just happened to find them!"

suae's face lightened up and she grabbed the books out of the girls hands with a bright smile.

"thank you! thank you! thank you!"

miyu then turned to eunhyeok suspiciously, "what are you doing here, all mysterious and shit. . .?"

suae gulps down somehow loudly as eunhyeok scratches his neck awkwardly with a slight smile.

"you two are hiding something!"

"please! they dont know eunhyeok is here and it should stay that way!" suae beggs.

miyu smirks, "ou~ are you two━"

"no!" eunhyeok responded before miyu could finish. suae side-eyed him which made miyu laugh.

"alright i wont ask anything, i'll go then." she smiles again and turns to leave when the same boy says suddenly, "uhm you could just stay with us, right?"

he turned to look at suae for support. the girl nods simply.

she thought it could be a good opportunity to get more out of miyu and figure the girl out.

and so it happened!

miyu, suae and eunhyeok spent the day together.

of course miyu notified mr. han that he could go back for now.

miyu did all kinds of things as she was locked in there.

random work-outs, to which the other boy and girl laughed at her at when she tried to do push-ups but feel over everytime.

she is certain she saw one of them even record everything!

and finally her social battery ran out and she was leaned against suae's bed next to eunhyeok as suae was on top of her bed in a laying position.

the sun was setting and it was oddly quiet as miyu hadn't said anything in the past minutes after talking non-stop for over four to five hours.

"you seem pretty smart miyu. . ." suae sighed.

the long-haired girl hummend slightly, "academic validation and shit."

the two chuckled slightly.

"i wish i was as smart as you two." the girl pouted, eunhyeok was quiet and miyu answered.

"i am not naturally smart either suae. its all hard work."

the cute girl turned to look at miyu now saying, "but i work hard too and dont get the same results!"

miyu sighed with an gentle smile, "mhm, i guess you just dont have the same pressure? you're parents on those pictures on the walls seem really sweet. they dont look like they'd pressure you."

suae nodded.

"they dont, you're right. they are really sweet. . ." suae took a moment to apprecaite her loving parents.

"you're lucky. if i get anything under an a, im basically an failure in my parents eyes. i might have an comfortable life and shit, but i feel like i have nothing at all."

eunhyeok turned his head to look at the girl next to him, he was quite stunned, the pictures of the day he saw her crying with a little girl, supposingly her sister, came into his mind.

suae's eyes turned wide. she expected her to make jokes and say that she was just built different or something, but this?

even telling them this was a thing that made her feel special.

"oh━ i'm sorry, really. i shouldn't have━"

"no suae. i am glad i got to share more of myself with you two. actually i never had anyone who i genuinely thought i could be friends with, besides ahyeon of course, but its different. i thought you were an amazing person, but i somehow fucked up and now i am afraid i look desperate or too flirty when i talk to you." miyu spoke out of her heart as she shut her eyes close.

something inside of suae was burning up. . .

the feeling of betrayal.

not that she was betrayed, well she was, but not by miyu.

its the fact that she was betraying the girl by including her in the affair plan.

and eunhyeok's heart clenched as he saw the genuine smile on her face. he had agreed to suae's plan at xland, trying not to think about the fact that he was about to be included in all that shit, that could possible hurt miyu if she found out.

found out that they were in fact just somehow using her.

the girl sighed as no one replied, taking out her phone and scrolling through her social media.

she realised that she hadn't posted anything for over two months now so she decided to find something interesting to post.

but she had nothing in her camera roll. . .

which meant that she had to take a picture now!

she looked at the person beside her and noticed him with some earphones.

she took one of them out and put it inside her ear to listen to the music he was listening to.

it was an romantic song surprisingly!

the girl grinned at him playfully as he looked away flustered.

miyu reached her phone out to take a perfect picture of the two.

eunhyeok was confused at first but went along with it anyway.

the girl smiled satesfied and immediately went onto her instagram to post it.

immediately her phone was blowing up with notifications.

so she put her phone down and stared at the boy who was still studying as it turned dark outside.

suae was sleeping, at least it seemed that way.

the girl leaned back against the bed and rested her eyes close for some time.

she didn't even know why she was here instead of studying at home and why she accepted staying.

she knew that if her parents were home for once, they'd beat her up for spending precious time like this.

it felt like hours passed and she didn't move out of her position only when she opened her eyes, she noticed that the guy next to her was staring.

at her.

he turned away, flustered that he was caught, thinking the girl was asleep already.

she chuckled and looked at suae who still looked like she was sleeping.

she nudged the boy and pointed at suae.

then looking at her phone, about a minute till midnight.

eunhyeok grabbed a blanket and put it on suae's body as miyu turned the lights out.

when they sat back down, suae's eyes shot up to look at the other two whos eyes were shut closed.

then just as if in sync they opened their eyes again to look at suae.

the girl stared back awkardly.

miyu checked her phone as everyone was quiet.

"happy birthday eunhyeok." she mumbled.

'how does she know. . .?' he thought as his head turned to her.

a few days ago at school, miyu happened to look over some files at the teachers office and noticed go eunhyeok's one at the top.

she saw that his birthday would be soon and made a mental note to not forget it.

even wanting to prepare a cake!

but somehow she happened to even be the first one to congratulate him.

suae remembered the conversation of raim and her friends earlier. they were talking about eunhyeok's biryhday.

"happy birthday. . .!" she also said.

"haha! i was the first one to congratulate you!" miyu smiled adorably.

it made eunhyeok's stoic facade break as he smiled too.

soon they decided to lay down to sleep, miyu and suae on the bed as eunhyeok on the floor.

suae suddenly got up again.

"i cant not celebrate a friends birthday properly!"

miyu chuckled and watched her get a piece of bought cake that eunhyeok got earlier this morning, putting a single candle on it, you cant call it a candle actually. . .

it was a plastic straw. with suae holding her phones camera light at the top to make it look like a candle.

now the three were sat on the bed in a circle. miyu with a playful smile, suae with an embarrassed expression and eunhyeok, well, with his usual face.

"i wont sing 'cuz i am too embarrassed to!" suae says awkwardly.

miyu smiled teasingly and whispered excitedly, "ou! i'll sing!"

the two deadpanned which made her smile falter and turn into a scowl, "alright. . ., you two are boring as fuck."

"make a wish and blow the candle out!" suae grinned.

eunhyeok put his hands together with a smile and closed his eyes.

"if you're done making your wish, blow it out!" miyu hurried him.

eunhyeok leaned in and blowed the "candle" out. in the same moment suae turned the light out so it would look like a real candle.

sitting in the middle, miyu looked in between the two deadpan as she felt like a third-wheel. the two were really close to each other staring into each others eyes, till suae said, "what do you think just like the real one right?"

he nodded, "yeah it is. . ."
