yeongji looked in the mirror, checking her outfit, checking and straightening out her sweatshirt, cleaning her glasses, looking at her mary janes for the nth time— she wanted to make sure that she looked presentable for the seven-hundredth time.

mingyu yelled from the downstairs floor of her house.

"OKAY YOU IDIOT
IM COMING!"

yeongji yelled back, grabbing her handbag and keys and running down the stairs.

"be safe you two!!"

"i will o mother

mom
"and bring back
leftovers because you
know damn well i'm
not cooking tomorrow,"

yeongjis mom whispered to her. yeongji chuckled and nodded, checking herself one time in the mirror.

seungkwan had already pulled up to yeongji s driveway, honking the horn which made yeongji jump slightly.

"and that's our cue
to leave,"

she said, kissing her mom on the cheek and practically running out of the doorway.

"OI YEONGJI YOU
FORGOT YOUR PURSE!!"

yeongji zipped back into her house, grabbing her purse from the counter and then running out of the home again. mingyu trailed behind her, closing the door and locking it with his house key.

yeongjis mouth had DROPPED at the sight of seungcheols house. it was practically HUGE, mansion like almost with the size.

the architecture was reminisce of old money and renaissance architecture— the columns of the house's entrance were practically lined with growing vines that stretched up from the grass. the driveway was circular with a fountain in the middle of it, leading up to the marble staircase where two large doors with golden doorknobs.

soonyoung let them inside, leading them to the living room where practically everyone else was, either playing a game of pool, watching the tv, or just talking.

mingyu teased, vernons cheeks quickly turning pink.

mingyu laughed, ruffling vernons hair.

"HEY GUYS! THE FOOD IS

everyone practically rushed to the dining room, already calling their seats next to each other. yeongji sat in between mingyu and wonwoo, the two already cooking up a plan to embarrass mingyu while they all hung out at the dinner table to eat.

the dinner table itself was alresdy set up, food in the center of the long table with table wear already set up in front of everyones seats.

start eating, i guess
we should say thanks?"

"i guess i'm thankful for
being able to make new
friends this year—"

the opportunities i
was able to pursue
this year and this summer,
as well as being able
to make a new friend!!"

everyone went around the table saying thanks, ending it off with yeongji.

thankful that mingyu
broke his phone-"

"HEY!"

"BECAUSE i was
able to meet all of
you lovely people
this summer. mingyu,
please break your

everyone nodded happily, conversation already erupting amongst them.
