𝗔𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛𝗛. 𝗜 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗜'𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗿𝗲-𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝗱. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝗿𝗲-𝘄𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝗽.

"I may have a solution." Da-hye spoke up.

The Crown Prince noticed how everyone went quiet after Da-hye spoke. Perhaps it was because she said she had a solution. Or maybe it was because of that rumor that  was created when it was revealed that Da-hye would become a female mage. The rumor was that Da-hye was the reincarnation of Master Seo Gyeong's sister,  Seo Soon-mi, the first ever female mage.

"You see, Songrim is only worried that history will repeat itself." Da-hye said. "The ice stone will only cause chaos because of it's power, many people will desire it." Da-hye turned to look at Jin Mu. "Some who are in this very room right now." Da-hye said. "This is why it must be destroyed. Yes, this is not what Master Seo Gyeong might have wanted. But he is now dead, he's been dead for more than a century. Therefore, his will does not matter anymore." Da-hye explained.

Da-hye somehow repeated what Master Lee has said.

"Are you disrespecting Master Seo Gyeong, Young Lady Park?" Monk Ho-yeon asked. "What are you suggesting?"

Da-hye knew that almost everyone in this room believed  that Da-hye was the reincarnation of Lady Seo Soon-mi. Da-hye would use that to her advantage. 

"My intention is not to disrespect Master Seo Gyeong." Da-hye said. "However, everyone in this room knows that Master Seo Gyeong was no ordinary mage. He was the King's star. This leads me to believe, that he had some sort of attraction to the ice stone's power. That may be why he left one behind." Da-hye explained. "But, let's look at this from the point of view of someone else. Lady Seo Soon-mi, Master Seo Gyeong's younger sister. Even after Master Seo Gyeong died, it was said that Seo Soon-mi knew that the ice stone was in Jinyowon. It is even said that Lady Seo Soon-mi died trying to get rid of the ice stone." 

"What exactly is your point?" A mage asked.

"My point is that no matter if the ice stone is not in the hands of evil, it will still always cause chaos." Da-hye said. "Seo Soon-mi knew this, this is why she helped her brother get rid of the ice stones. She died trying to get rid of the evil things in this world so that Daeho could be a safe place." Da-hye explained. "Let her death not be in vain."

The room was silent for a few seconds, it looked like the mages were giving some thought to what Da-hye had said. Well, she did have a way with words.

Monk Ho-yeon stood up and was the first to speak. "If Songrim insists on opposing Jinyowon keeping the ice stone. Perhaps it would be better for a third party to take it." Monk Ho-yeon said. "So here is my proposal. How about keeping it at Gisan?"

Da-hye scoffed. There was no way this man was serious.

"Where did that idea come from?" A mage stood up. "Why should it be kept at Gisan? You and your family are low level mages."

"What did you say?" Monk Ho-yeon asked.

"You family has no right to keep the ice stone." All of the mages stood up except Songrim. "We will not allow it."

"We have no right?" Monk Ho-yeon asked. "My family has been around the longest in the history of Daeho." Monk Ho Yeon shouted. "So we have every right to protect the ice stone."

"Protect?" Da-hye scoffed. "How can you protect it when you are a low level mage?" Da-hye said as Monk Ho-yeon tried to take the ice stone.

The mage behind him stopped him. "How dare you try to touch it!"

"Are you trying to start a fight?!" Monk Ho-yeon asked as he pushed the mage.

"Speak for yourself!"

"What do you think you are doing?"

"Watch your tongue."

Da-hye rolled her eyes, how could these mages be so immature? Fighting over  a power that they know they cannot posses? 

"Who do you think you are?!"

Master Heo tried to stop the fight. 

"Hey, hey." Master Heo got in between them. "Hey, that is enough."

"Get out of the way!" Monk Ho-yeon shouted. He smacked Master Heo's head.

"Did you just hit me?!" Master Heo shouted. "Damn you, old man!" Master Heo grabbed him by his collar. "You little...." Master Heo started gathering energy on his hand. 

"Are you gathering energy?" Monk Ho-yeon asked. "Fine. Go ahead and attack me." Monk Ho-yeon created an energy shield in front of him.

"Do you think I will not be able to?" Master Heo asked.

"You are as impudent as you look!" Monk Ho-yeon said.

"Look who is talking." Master Heo said.

How were these old men not embarrassed to be fighting over this. They were proving Da-hye's point without trying to.

"Everyone, please settle down!" The leader shouted. But no one listened. And Lady Jin just had to rub it in.

"Everyone!" Lady Jin got up. "That is enough!"

"I will get back to you later!" The mages went back to their seats.

"Fine by me!"

"Allow me to speak." Lady Jin said. " Judging by everyone's opinions, it seems best that we use the ice stone left by Master Seo Gyeong for the benefit of everyone here." Lady Jin annouced.

Had she not heard what Da-hye said?

"Therefore, I, Jin Ho-Gyeong, the leader of Jinyowon, would like to make a suggestion." Lady Jin said. "How about giving the right to gather the Unanimous Assembly to Jinyowon instead of Songrim from now on?"

The room stayed quiet for a second. "If no one here is against the idea, I shall end the gathering here." Lady Jin said. "And as of this moment on, Jinyowon will take Songrim's place and take charge of holding the discussions regarding the ice stone."

But no one spoke up.  The Crown Prince has expected Da-hye to speak up but she just looked at Lady Jin with disgust.

"I will take that as a yes and end today's Unanimous Assembly." Lady Jin said. "As for the ice stone, it will remain inside Jinyowon."

The leader of Songrim stood up. "The right thing to do is to destroy the ice stone to prevent further quarrels."  The leader said.

"What gives Songrim the right to make that decision?" Lady Jin asked. "No one here agrees with it."

"The alchemy of souls has been performed, and that was possible because of the souls ejector created from that ice stone." The leader explained.

"First, you cast doubt on Cheonbugwan and the royal family." Lady Jin said. "And, now you are doing the same to Jinyowon."

"I will not allow the Unanimous Assembly to end like this." The leader said. "Lady Jin. I forbid you to take the ice stone outside of Songrim."

"Are you trying to go up against everyone here?" Lady Jin asked.

"No one is allowed to take the ice stone outside of Songrim."  The leader demanded. Songrim and Jeongjingak mages barged in ready to fight.  "I order you to fight and stop anyone who attempts to." The leader told the Songrim mages. The mages unsheathed their swords.
