{ethans pov}

I was going to surprise my girlfriend. I was so excited until I saw she was talking to another man. She quickly ran over and I felt relived. I knew she wasn't cheating on me just from her smile. I looked deeply into her eyes and thought I might have to break up with her if she gets the part. I knew she wouldn't like it but its the best thing for us.

{olivias pov} 

"Olivia are they going to tell you if you got the part today or in a couple weeks?" Ethan asked. "I think today which isn't actually normal." I answered. "Attention everyone we have made our decision on our nini. As you know this is josh and he will be telling you who got the part." Josh waved at everyone. "Hi everyone I just wanted to quickly say if you don't get the part that is ok and you all did amazing so I hope one day you all get at least one role." I thought about how kind he was. He was also so so so so cute. I slapped my self and hoped no one noticed. "The girl who got the part of nini is... Olivia Rodrigo!" I was so happy! Ethan hugged me. "Hey liv can we talk in another room pls?" I nodded and we went to another room. "Hey liv I'm I just want to say sorry in advance." He was getting me nervous. "I think we should take a break. Like I said I'm so sorry but i think its best for both of us, with you moving to salt lake we wouldn't last anyways." I started crying and ran out.

{Joshuas pov}

I was sitting there waiting for Olivia so we could talk when I saw her run out for the back room crying. Without even thinking I ran after her. "Olivia are you ok?" I asked her. "Josh I just met you, you wouldn't care anyways." All i could think of saying was "Of course I care, and you might have just met me but we are going to be spending every day together for 6 months." I reassured her. "Well you saw me run to my boy friends before right?" I nodded trying not to get upset. "Well he just broke up with me because I was moving to salt lake." I just hugged her. We hugged for what felt like forever until her stupid exboyfriend came in. "Hey liv I'm sorry please take me back. "No! Why would you ever think I would get back together with you after you broke up with me because I was moving." She screamed at Ethan. I just hugged her as he went out. I knew this was a bad moment for her but the hug was so amazing.

I know that usually you dont find out if you get a role until weeks are even months later but making so they found out the day of worked better for the story.
