"I'm on my way to meet my friend that I haven't seen for a long time and we are going to eat malatang."
Heejin spoke to the camera, briefly hinting at what she was going to do today in her vlog.
...
Heejin stood on her tiptoes to see over the heads of the bustling crowd of people entering the train station. She swayed to both sides to look for a certain someone that was supposed to meet her in a few minutes. A sudden group of people had approached the gates, meaning that a train had just stopped at this station, and the person Heejin was looking for was supposedly on that train.
"Where are you? Where are you?"
Red Heejin muttered to herself until she saw a girl tapping her train pass at the gate, causing Heejin to jump up and down excitedly capturing the girl's attention. The taller girl immediately ran to the Loona member carrying a foldable phone tripod in her hand.

Heejin jumped onto the girl, hugging her tightly.
"I can't believe you're back. I can finally talk to you in person again and not just on the phone!"
Heejin exclaimed to her friend.
"I missed you so much."
Yerin sighed, holding onto Heejin's hand.
The two talked for a bit, exchanging so many hugs before Heejin asked if Yerin was ok with her filming for her vlog.

"YAHHHH"
Heejin exclaimed to her vlog, showing the girl beside her. Except Yerin's face was blurred out for privacy reasons.
"Hiii."
Yerin waved to the vlog.
"Did you watch my vlogs?"
The older girl asked Yerin as they walked.
"Oh... um no."
"Fine then."
Heejin huffed, a disappointed look resting on her face.
"But I watched your 'Tam' log. Was it?"
The other girl said, hoping to make Heejin's frown disappear.
...
Heejin briefly switched off her vlog camera whilst the two friends made their way to the place they were going to eat at.
"You didn't tell the others you were here did you?"
The Loona member asked her old trainee friend that shook her head.
"You know. you should see her."
Heejin said, hoping that Yerin would get the hint about who she was talking about. Instead, she received a confused expression from the girl beside her.
"Kim Hyunjin."
The older girl gave the other a disdainful look.
Yerin had her lips parted as if to say 'oh' but no words came out.
"I'm sorry I'm making you keep this a secret from everyone else. It must be extremely difficult."
Yerin remarked, keeping her head low.
"To be honest. They'll find out after this vlog gets posted, but you'll be gone again by then."
Heejin confessed.
Yerin nodded slowly, imagining the other member's faces when they realised that she was here even if it was for only 4 days because she needed to collect something from her grandmother and bring it back to Sydney.
...
They had arrived at the Malatang place and picked out all the different ingredients that they wished to put in their soup before finding a table to sit at.
Heejin placed the tripod on the table, pressing the recording switch.

"Do you want bread?"
Heejin asked the girl sitting across from her, as she pulled a couple of bread selections from her bag.
"Don't tempt me."
Yerin exclaimed to the other girl.
"Just while we're waiting for the food."
Heejin laughed and passed the girl a small piece that she had ripped off.
"Is it good?"
Heejin looked at the girl that made a sound.
Yerin nodded enthusiastically causing both girls to laugh whilst looking directly at one another. The younger girl noticed a part of Heejin's hair going to one side, so she lightly stood up from her chair and leaned to the other side of the table to fix the girl's hair while she was deeply concentrated on eating the bread in front of her.
All of a sudden, Heejin lifted her head tilting it to the side a little.
"Am I cute?"
Heejin asked, making an adorable expression at the girl seated in front of her.
"Are you editing this out?"
Yerin smirked, although the camera couldn't see due to the angle only being pointed at Heejin.
"I'm just finding the main attraction point."
The idol commented.
...
The clip cut to when the two girls were beginning to eat the Malatang that had arrived.
Yerin smiled at the girl that was enjoying her food so much.
"You used to eat so well too. Even when you were on a diet, you always packed food and brought it wherever you went."
Yerin said, reminiscing the days when they were both together in the same company.
...
The two girls walked for a little bit around a nearby park after eating their hefty meal, before finding a bench to sit down at. Heejin pulled out her camera again and began to record after pulling Yerin into the frame. Yerin played with both their hair and began to braid them together after Heejin said to.
"You weren't going to tell me you were here either, were you?"
The older girl questioned again.
"No, but I'm glad my grandmother told you."
Yerin admitted.
"If you're glad. Wouldn't it be good to see the others too? Maybe Hyeju or Choerry, Yves unnie... Hyunjin?"
Heejin smirked when she got to the last suggestion.
...
That night, all Yerin could think about was whether Heejin was right. Not about seeing Hyunjin specifically but the members in general. She hesitantly shifted her thumbs over the keyboard on her phone. Another girl's contact name popped up on the screen as she slowly typed the letters.
After much thought, the line began to ring and a few moments later, someone had already picked up.

"Hello?"
Yerin gulped upon hearing the person's voice, still unsure of how to answer.
"Hello..?"
The person on the other end of the phone asked again, this time drawling the word out. There was a silence on the other end of the line before it cut out and left a beeping noise to indicate that the call had ended.
Yerin brushed her finger over the contact photo of the person. That voice. That was all she wanted to hear right now.

She was sitting in the living room of the house, all by herself. All that could be heard was the branches of trees hitting the window every so often due to the light breeze outside.

Incoming call...

Sliding her thumb across the answer button, she waited for someone to speak, but nothing.
No response or sound. Nothing.

10 mins passed and still, no word had been exchanged.

'Maybe it was a butt dial.'
Yerin thought and was about to hang up this time instead, but stopped when she heard someone sharply inhale.

"Do you really have nothing to say to me?"

The person finally spoke after what appeared to be 10 minutes of absolute silence.
...

"You didn't have to ghost me like this."

The Loona member had her phone on speaker as she spoke to the person that was yet to speak a word. She felt her chest tighten but refrained from saying the words she wanted to say.

"You promised Seo Yerin. You promised!"

She felt herself suddenly raise her voice as her emotions overwhelmed her more and more as the silence continued.

"SAY SOMETHING."

The girl slammed her hand on the table. Luckily no one else was home, so she could be as loud as she wanted. Kind of.

"Stop getting my hopes up constantly for, nothing."
"I'm in Korea."
Yerin sniffled.
"I just thought I would let you know."
...

Heejin turned on her camera again, ready to film a continuation of her vlog.
"Right now, I'm on my way to go visit the same friend who I had malatang with."
Heejin pulled out her old house key from when she used to live with Yerin and opened the door.
"I'm here!"
She called out into the house.
Heejin immediately found her way to a familiar part of the house but noticed that some new equipment had been installed. Yerin had installed a composing program in her room just after she arrived in Korea again. Yerin leaned over the very clueless Heejin that was at this point just messing around with practically anything she could lay her hands on and Yerin taught her how to use everything currently. After Heejin got the hang out of it, sort of, she decided to lay on her bed as Heejin continued to play around.
An hour or so had passed and Heejin began to play some of Loona's songs.

"It's such a good song right?"
Heejin turned around to ask the girl laying on the bed but instead got bluntly ignored jokingly.
Heejin continued to search for Loona's songs in the composition system.
"Watch it at home."
Yerin commented.
"I watch it at home a lot too."
Heejin responded, making them both laugh.

After spending the whole day together and finishing the vlog. Heejin decided to go back to her dorm for the night to practice with her members. She told Yerin that she would be back tomorrow morning so they could spend even more time together before Yerin had to leave for Australia again.
...
The minute she had knocked on the front door, she knew herself that there was no turning back. As soon as the door opened, their eyes met. The Loona member quickly tried to cover what was in her hands behind her back but failed. She hesitantly walked inside the younger girl's house, carefully taking her shoes off before standing in front of her long-time friend. She pulled a bouquet from behind her back to show to Yerin.

"Will you accept this?"

The member looked at the younger girl with doe-like eyes and pushed the flowers gently in Yerin's direction. All Yerin could do was glance at the flowers with emptiness, and with hot tears flooding down her cheeks already. She didn't want to look at the girl that was giving them to her.
It would only hurt more.

"Unnie. You really are such a good person."
Yerin muttered, finally averting her eyes from the floor and instead to the girl that already wore a disheartened expression.

"Then.."
The Loona member smiled for a split second thinking she had a slight glimmer of hope, only to be cut off.

"But the timing now just isn't good. I don't think I can have a beautiful relationship right now... and neither can you."

The Loona member dropped her arms to her side. The flowers no longer filled the gap between the two 'friends'.

"Is it perhaps because of another member?"
The older girl asked with a blank expression.
"Honestly, I can't say that it's not part of the reason."
Yerin gulped audibly.
"Are they why you came back?"
Yerin shook her head, tears continuing to roll down her cheeks.
"Are you disappointed in me...?"
Yerin asked the girl that didn't appear to be crying but instead gazed directly at her.
"Yes. But I already knew from the beginning that you would disappoint me. So something like this, won't make me get more disappointed."
The member spoke with honesty, although she felt her heart crumble.

"You're romanticising me right now-"
Yerin began.

"Then just... disappoint me more, because I like you so much that I don't know what to do."

"I like you, Seo Yerin. Sincerely."

The older girl confessed, seemingly looking at Yerin, still thinking about what to say.
"I understand how you feel. So don't be too hard on yourself, like I know you will."
She said, attempting to make the girl that had rejected her feel better about the situation.

"I'm sorry. For constantly disappointing you."
...
Yerin was supposedly back in Australia according to Heejin when the vlog video was uploaded. Heejin's video was only uploaded 7 minutes ago and there was already a wild banging on the door.

"YOU SAW YERIN AND TOLD NONE OF US?"
The door had barely swung open and was already filled with half of the members other than Heejin.
"That's so unfair Jeon Heejin!"
Yves whinged, shaking Heejin by the shoulders while Hyunjin, Hyeju, Choerry, Jinsol and Vivi crowded around Heejin's desktop computer that displayed the newly published video.
"AHHH this isn't fairrrrrr."
Choerry complained, her eyes glued to the monitor along with the 5 other members.
Jinsol specifically focused on the part where Yerin was seen leaning over the table to fix Heejin's hair when Heejin asked her if she looked cute. The older girl balled her hand into a fist discreetly and closed her eyes in hopes to calm herself down. But the familiar voice of the girl wouldn't fade away so easily.
...
A few other members were in the practice room when the latest vlog was uploaded. Although the face was blurred, they could clearly tell who the guest member was.

"I bet she didn't tell us so that she could keep Yerin all to herself."
Chuu huffed, crossing her arms in front of her chest.
"You're being pathetic. Heejin wouldn't do that... hmm wait. Actually. Maybe you're right."
Jungeun thought, siding with the normally smily girl.
"SHE DIDN'T EVEN BRING IZZY Unnie!"
Yeojin raised her voice, jumping up and down in place with Gowon sending her a pathetic look from the other side of the room.

Meanwhile, the member that was currently on hiatus for several months pressed the notification for the newly uploaded vlog on the group's shared YouTube channel.
"So you rejected me for Jeon Heejin.."
She whispered to herself laying on the couch in the middle of the living room, nothing but emptiness filling the whole house as she watched the vlog that gradually made her more and more envious. She glimpsed over at the flowers from that day that had been thrown onto the marble countertop untouched, that they were beginning to wither from lack of water and sunlight.
...
Incoming call... from.
-My baby wolf-

"I know you haven't left yet."
The girl spoke softly, so as to not scare her.
"...What gave it away?"
Yerin heaved a sigh, coming to the realisation that there was someone out there that knew her from back to front.
"Just you. I bet you're at a convenience store right now, eating cup ramen and drinking that disgusting soda water that no one else likes but you."
Yerin took the phone that she had pressed against her ear away for a second, pausing to see if she had heard Hyeju correctly, instead, she heard a slight chuckle from the older girl on the other end of the phone.
"Look up."
Yerin hesitantly gazed up to the window to see someone waving at her, the other hand holding a phone against her ear.
"That's a little stalker-ish unnie."
Yerin joked, whilst Hyeju stuck her tongue out playfully, smiles plastered on both their faces.
"I missed you."

Yerin found herself clicking the end call button upon hearing those words. Hyeju watched on as the girl shoved the phone in her pocket leaving everything else scattered on the table she was seated at in front of the window, before disappearing.
Within a few seconds, the bells hung on the exit of the door jangled, and a girl ran out heading straight towards the idol. First, she felt the taller girl swing her arms over her shoulder and hold onto her insanely tight, that she was beginning to struggle to breathe.
"I'm sorry for not telling you that I was here."
Yerin said, whispering into Hyeju's ear.
"Don't be sorry. We all understand that you needed time to settle back in. Heejin Unnie just beat the rest of us to you."
Hyeju said, her eyes flickering to Yerin's shoes and her eyes.
"We missed you. I missed you."
The Loona member confessed, a small smile tugging on the end of her lips.
...
It was only her and Hyeju currently in the dorm. No one else seemed to be home quite yet. Haseul was on hiatus for several months already and it made Yerin incredibly guilty after what happened only a few nights ago. The two girls were in the kitchen contemplating what to make for dinner for themselves since they didn't know when the others would be back. Just as they had finally decided on something, the sound of keys jangling was heard right outside the door, followed by a bunch of chattering. Yerin shuffled towards Hyeju as the front door was slowly pushed open with several girls walking through.

"Jinsoul."
Yerin whispered to herself, unaware of the girl beside her that had overheard as well. The older girl now had curly hair rather than the fringe she had the last time they had facetimed. All that was exchanged since March was the rare phone calls where they could hear one another's voice but the daily text messages never disappeared.

Hyeju sighed, her shoulders visibly lifting as she did cause Yerin to snap out of her trance and look away from the members that had just walked in the door and were yet to acknowledge her.
"Is everything ok?"
The younger girl questioned her friend.
"Be careful. With her."
Hyeju tilted her head in the direction of one of the eldest members that were untying her shoelaces near the door.
"What do you mean?"
Yerin asked, unsure of what Hyeju could possibly be trying to suggest.
"I mean... she's like- I don't want to say this because she's my Unnie. But she's a player and well you know, can be a jerk."
Hyeju whispered, seemingly the look on her face made Yerin believe that Hyeju wasn't sure if she should've told her or not.
Instead, Yerin nodded and rubbed Hyeju's shoulder.
"Thanks. For the warning... I guess."
"I could tell since- you know. Before you left."
Hyeju said as Yerin walked to the fridge.

The latter speaking to someone in the kitchen sparked the attention of the members that walked in only a minute ago.
"Yerin!"
The girl barely even had any time to turn around before she found herself almost getting pushed into the open fridge. Tackled into a hug by none other than Choerry.
"You didn't leave?"
The girl shook her head and wrapped her arms around her excited twin.
Jinsol watched the interaction play in front of her, with Jungeun standing behind analysing the way the older girl huffed with her arms folded in front of her chest while watching the two reunited younger ones.
The door opened once more to reveal several other girls. Including Chuu, Heejin, Vivi and Hyunjin.
"Why are you two just standing there looking at-"
Jinsol and Jungeun hadn't even turned around before they found all four girls rushing past them to get to the familiar girl.
"Hey Jeon Heejin get out of the way, you saw her only a few days ago."
Hyunjin pushed the girl that was running in front of her and stumbled into a chair to which Vivi and Chuu stuck their tongues out at the sulking girl.
Yerin's eyes widen upon seeing the smily girl running at full speed towards her. Choerry loosened her grip on Yerin and walked off to where Jinsol and Jungeun still stood until Jinsol hesitantly took a step closer to the girl she had called every night those past months before stopping again when she saw Yerin plant a kiss on a blushing Hyunjin's cheek.

Choerry noticing the normally confident Jinsol and smirked, before decided to head over to Hyeju who was watching the girls from over the kitchen counter.
"She's acting ... suspicious."
Choerry spoke, causing Hyeju to look away from Yerin and instead to the older of the two.
"Yerin knows."
Hyeju hinted at Choerry who instead gave a questioning glance at the Unnie that was in front of Jungeun that eventually moved to where Yerin was hugging and kissing Hyunjin, Heejin, Chuu and Vivi.
Hyeju sighed at the girl who didn't understand what she meant.
"I told Yerin about Jinsol unnie's... reputation."
Hyeju blankly said.
Choerry nodded her head slowly.
"Good that she's aware of it, but you shouldn't have."
"What?"
The younger girl's head whipped towards Choerry.
"It's not our call to make, especially if right now they both like one another."
The older girl spoke.
"But- she's going to get her heart broken and I'm not going to just sit there and wait for it to unfold."
Hyeju clenched her jaw, not believing what Choerry said. Why would she be defending Jinsol?
"I know but- wait a minute. Seo Yerin. You like her too."
Choerry eyes widened at her own assumption she had said out loud. Hyeju's eyes flickered to Yerin before she averted her gaze from Choerry, that gasped with her hand clamped over her mouth.

In the background, they could hear Yerin's laughter when Jungeun playfully tickled her side. The tallest member sighed upon opening the door, once she heard the loud laughing and bickering coming from her members.
"KIM LIP !! "
Yerin screeched, falling onto the floor with Jungeun and a few of the other members tickling her.
"Are you being informal maknae?!"
Jungeun gasped.

The familiar voice, made Yves lift her head from untying her shoes.
"YA ! Seriously you guys. What are you doing?"
Everyone froze in their place except Jinsol when hearing the current oldest member in the room's voice.
"For real you guys don't know how to act."
Jinsol commented, earning a slap on the back of the head by Yves.
"Neither do you. What is this dirt trail behind your shoes?"
Yves glared at Jinsol who looked away embarrassingly especially because Yerin was looking in her direction snickering.
The members that were tickling Yerin moments ago all stepped away from her, with Hyunjin and Heejin helping her up to her feet.
Yves stepped onto the wooden floor towards the youngest girl and pulled her into a tight hug with Yerin nuzzling her face in the crook of Yves' neck.

"Why does short hair look so good on you."
The younger girl pointed out, finally seeing Yves' hair for the first time ever since the 'So What' music video had come out. She remembered when seeing the music video for the first time, that she had to bite down into her fist in order to not scream upon seeing each of the Loona members appear on the screen since she was in a busy cafe waiting to pick up her cousin from school. Especially the moment when Yves appeared with short hair. 'So What' was the first comeback Loona had without Yerin being by their side to practice and support them in person. She had left Korea only a few days after the [XX] album was released, that being the reason why the other members were unable to accompany her to the airport due to being stuck in an interview.

"Are you staying for long?"

"Maybe. This time, I won't make promises I might not be able to keep."

...
A few days later, Yerin was on her way to visit the Blockberry Creative building when it suddenly began to rain. She had gotten a call from PD asking to speak with her, he must have heard from the Loona members that she was back.

Pulling the umbrella that she had in her tote bag out immediately after feeling a couple of drops of rain falling onto her skin and staining the white t-shirt she wore.

"Come on, hurry up."
The girl waiting at the stop light swayed back and forth on her heels, whilst holding a large table in her arms. The table was so big and heavy that it was beginning to slip out of her grip even more due to the rain. The unexpected rain was falling onto her, the sides of her hair beginning to stick to her face, making her close her eyes tightly and open them again to attempt to flinch the uncomfortable feeling off.

When all of a sudden, it stopped. The droplets of water on her skin were no longer there. Looking down at the sidewalk, she noticed a large shadow was instead cast over her.

Without hesitation, she lifted her head to see an umbrella in the grips of someone's hand and beside the handle was a girl who was the same height as her, with beautiful features from her hair, to her eyes to her nose to her lips even. Her side profile was what some might call perfection.

The girl who was still gripping the table as tightly as she could, bowed to the umbrella owner before facing back to the road.
Yerin leaned her head forward to look at the struggling girl's expression as she turned her head back.
"Do you need a hand?"
The girl with the umbrella looming over them asked.
"What?"
The brunette with her arms hugging around the table questioned, turning her head once more to catch a proper glimpse of the other girl.
"It looks heavy."
Yerin continued when she noticed the girl pause.
"No. No, it's alright."
The other girl was quick to deny the help.

The stop light after taking its precious time finally flickered to green.

"You go first."
The girl bowed once more to her again.
"Gosh. Thank you so much."
As the two girls walked across the road, Yerin focused on the ground to make sure that the girl beside her didn't accidentally slip or step on something. Once they reached the other side of the road, the girl immediately set the table down with no intention of picking it back up. Odd. Yerin thought, but let it slip from her mind.

"Which way are you going?"
She questioned the seemingly tired girl.
"If you're going this way, I can walk with you."
Yerin pointed in the direction that she was heading.
"I'm really okay."
The brunette spoke, shrugging her shoulders whilst holding her hands together.
"People will think badly of me, plus I'd be upset with myself too."
Yerin attempted to persuade the other girl.
The girl bent down, to try and pick up the table again but was stopped by a hand being put out in front of her.
"Let me help you."
"No. No, it's ok really."
She refused again.

She even has such a nice voice.

The other girl couldn't help but blush at the thought of the girl beside her holding the umbrella over both their heads. Yerin watched as the girl picked up the table again from the ground. A car came speeding past, close to both of them. She immediately put her hand protectively over the girl holding the table's shoulder and stepped behind her to stop her from getting hit by the large splash the car had created.

My crazy heart, calm down. She'll hear how fast you're beating.

She didn't know how it happened, but a few moments later she found herself looking at the girl beside her holding both the table and the umbrella.ย  Yerin listened when the girl told her to place the table in front of what appeared to be an old apartment complex.
"Thank you so much."
The girl in front of Yerin bowed once more.
"It was on my way anyways."
Yerin shrugged and took the other girl's hand, placing the handle of the umbrella in hers.
"Take the umbrella instead."
She was immediately met with the other girl wildly shaking her head, pushing the umbrella back to her.
"It's fine. I'm not going far anyway."
Yerin said and ran off into the rain before the other girl could say another word.

...
"Ya, I'm trying to sleep. Be quiet Soeun-ah."
The sleep-deprived trainee wearing a sleep mask muttered upon hearing the bedroom door close, but even after hearing those words, Soeun couldn't help the small smile creeping onto her face when remembering what happened earlier on that day.
...
This person is unavailable right now, please leave a detailed message after the to-
"Seriously. Now she's not even picking up her phone. Maybe she's just busy..."
Seo Yerin don't get ahead of yourself. Stop jumping to conclusions.
Yerin knocked the first few times but got no response. Someone has got to be here. None of them were in the practice room.
"Anyone home?"
Yerin called out after several failed knocking attempts.
Just as she was about to turn away, the lock clicked open and the door shifted open to reveal a girl with dishevelled hair, an extremely pale face with eye bags resting below her dark brown eyes.
"Unnie. Are you ok?"
Yerin immediately rushed to the girl that had opened the door for her.
"Go home Seo Yerin."
The other girl shrugged her off and weakly trudged back to her room after seeing Yerin shut the door. The younger girl couldn't help but look at the helpless Loona member with sorrowful eyes. Instead, she made her way into the kitchen to boil some hot water and pulled a tea bag out from the top cabinet.
She gently pushed the door open making a creaking sound, instead of finding the girl asleep she was sitting at her desk fiddling with her Lego pieces, continuing to cough endlessly.
"Unnie! You're sick, you shouldn't be playing with your Lego right now."
Although the girl had her back faced away from Yerin holding a mug of hot tea, she could just tell that the older girl was rolling her eyes.
"Cmon, go to bed. I have some tea for you."
Yerin put her hand gently on the girl's shoulder that was simply ignoring her.
"So now you can see me. Now you care about me."
Jinsol mumbled, continuing to play with her Lego pieces that were scattered across her desk.
"What?"
"Nothing. Nothing."
Yerin placed the mug of tea beside Jinsol, on her desk where she was seated at.
Instead of fighting even more with the girl that was already upset with her, Yerin just sat on Jinsol's bed just to keep her company even though they weren't talking to one another.
An hour or so passed with no word yet to be exchanged.
"Why are you even here in the first place?"
The older girl interrupted their silence, swivelling her chair to face Yerin that was laying down on her bed on her phone.
"Come, sit."
Yerin patted the spot on the bed for Jinsol to sit, and finally she stood up from her chair and weakly stumbled to her bed.
Yerin immediately draped the blanket over the girl that was still in denial of being sick.
"If you weren't so stubborn. You would've found out earlier."
Yerin scoffed, to which Jinsol just side-eyed her.
"I'm staying here. With you. Not here as in the dorm but I spoke to Pd-Nim this morning and well..."
Yerin inhaled deeply.
"I'm a trainee again. Apparently, someone from a different agency moved to BBC and there's potential to start a group."
Jinsol's eyes instantly got brighter, the colour on her face beginning to return and her being mad at Yerin had completely slipped from her mind and she was squeezing the younger girl in a tight hug.
The sudden change in the girl next to her left Yerin stunned but she rested her arm on the small of Jinsol's back.
"You and Choi Yoojung in the same group are going to be legendary."
"WAIT WHAT?!"
Yerin pushed Jinsol away, who immediately pouted at the sudden lack of contact.
"The person that moved is THE Choi Yoojung?!"
She asked and Jinsol nodded her head enthusiastically.
OH MY GOD

Jinsol had eventually drifted off into slumber with her head rested on Yerin's chest and her arm slumped against the younger girl's hip bone.
"I missed this."
Yerin whispered, leaning down to gently plant a kiss on the sleeping girl's forehead.
"Whatever this is, between us."
...
It had been 3 or 4 days, maybe. Soeun was walking down the same street when she saw a familiar person with her hair tied up instead, jogging down the street of bustling pedestrians. Being caught up in herself, Soeun found herself discreetly jogging after her. She picked up the pace as the mysterious girl rounded a corner and entered a building she was unfamiliar with. The huge letters printed on the side were not visible to her yet, so she just curiously walked in.

"Is PD-nim here yet?"
"Not yet, you still have 10 mins."
The receptionist told the girl Soeun had been following into the building.
Soeun peeked her head in the slight gap where she had pushed open the door, before turning away as though nothing happened, because she saw the huge logo behind the reception desk.

Soeun kicked the leaves scattered along the path, trudging with her hands behind her back.
"Well, she's someone in Blockberry Creative. A manager for Loona maybe... they're the only group in that company."
Soeun continued to think to herself aloud.
"No wonder she was so charming and polite."
She exhaled a deep breath.
"Why does that make me feel so depressed though. Stupid Park Soeun. What did you even expect from someone as good-looking as that?"
...
"Miss Park Soeun"
The receptionist called her name and told her to follow closely behind her, as she was brought to an empty audition room excluding 5 people seated behind a table. One of them being her. Although she was yet to pay attention to Soeun because she was speaking to the person beside her.
Oh my god. She's speaking to THE Choi Yoojung.
Soeun felt her palms begin to sweat upon seeing one of her biggest inspirations. She wiped her hands on the sides of her pants.
"Ok. Miss Park Soeun."
The man spoke, everyone averting their attention to the only girl on the other side of the table, waiting to audition.
"Oh. Aren't you..."
The same girl lifted her finger, delicately pointing it towards her.
"Yes. I met you a few days ago."
Soeun instantly replied, bowing her head slightly.
"Right! Are your arms okay?"
Yerin asked, concerned, while the other two seated beside her sent questioning glances towards the two girls interacting.
"I'm fine. No need to worry."
Soeun said, a little too enthusiastically.
"That's good to hear."
The girl seated on the side of the table nodded her head, peaking at the sheet laid in front of her.
"Hmm. There must be something special between us then."
Yerin chuckled, amused by the fact that she was meeting Soeun again. In a situation like this.
"Right.. umm enough about us. Shall we start the audition? Pd-nim please take the lead on this one."
Yerin spoke to the man beside her.

"So you mentioned being a current trainee at Fave Entertainment. Previous experience then. That's good."
Yoojung spoke, more to the man whom Soeun came to know as the PD of BBC, rather than her.
"I remember you. On Mixnine?"
PD spoke, earning a nod from the girl auditioning whilst Yerin and Yoojung looked at one another coming to a realisation that the girl was in fact on the YG survival show many years ago alongside Heejin, Hyunjin and Haseul.
"I suggest since you are already part of an entertainment company, to give it some more thorough thought and if you really want to start here just email here."
Yerin stood up from her seat and passed Soeun a business card, and a reassuring smile.ย
...
"Ya. What's wrong with you since before?"
The girl sitting across from Yerin, cutting her bread in half asked the distracted brunette.
"Did you see a ghost or something in the audition room? You seem so distracted."
"It's nothing. I just remembered the person who auditioned."
"What is it?"
Hyunjin questioned, finally pulling apart half of the bread successfully.
"It was just such a weird coincidence that she showed up out of nowhere, especially since she is already from another company where Apink started."
"You must have been quite surprised."
Hyunjin acknowledged.
"I think you will be too if you noticed her."
Hyunjin hummed at Yerin's statement as if to say she was listening.
"She was on Mixnine with you."
"Oh?"
"Is she pretty?"
The Loona member leaned her head forward to ask, curiously awaiting Yerin's response.
"I don't know. I guess in my eyes she is. But shouldn't you be asking for her name?"
...
"Speaking of what's on your mind... don't force yourself to come to a conclusion. Based on my experience, time solves everything."
The trainee next to Soeun spoke.
"Whatever."
In order to get away from her one trainee friend, Soeun decided to take a walk. It just so happened that her feet seemed to decide to take her elsewhere.

"An email would've been easier but in person works fine as well I guess."
The PD brought her into his office, allowing for her to take a seat first before sitting in his own chair.
The two spoke for a while regarding a contract and PD mentioned his two other trainees without saying names.
"I'll have to call them in, or they could be in the building somewhere and they can handle the rest for now until everything is finalised. I'll be just a minute."
He spoke, before stepping out of his office to make the phone call to one of the trainees.

"It seems that Yoojung isn't currently here but Yerin is in the practice room, come with. I'll guide you there since it's your first time."
PD opened the door and spoke to Soeun who may have stood up a little too fast when PD had stepped in. The two made their way down the hallways and the lift in a silence that made Soeun shift uncomfortably almost. The awkward tension rose until PD stopped and opened the door allowing for Soeun to step in.

He gave one girl stretching on the ground a look of acknowledgment to which she immediately understood, stumbling onto her feet to the door.
"Oh Soeun, you've made your decision I'm guessing."
She chuckled.
The sound was music to Soeun's ears, the way the girl gave her a charming smile.
"Soeun?"
"Oh. Um yes. I was told by PD that a trainee called Yerin would-"
"That's me! I forgot that you don't know my name."
Yerin sheepishly rubbed her nape with her hand.
"Seo Yerin."
The other girl held out her hand in front of Soeun.

The world seemed to stop as clichรฉ as it sounded when Soeun shook the girl in front of her's hand. Before the moment was interrupted by someone moving the white sheet that split the shooting area from the actual place where people would practice.
"I'll ask Yerin if you guys can't decide then."
A girl wearing a cropped hoodie and cargo pants appeared from behind the sheet, locking eyes with her awkwardly.
Another celebrity. Don't panic Park Soeun. Make a good impression.
"Oh. You must be the trainee from Fave? Yerin wouldn't stop talking about it during lunch."
Hyunjin paused, whilst Yerin shyly turned her head away.
Soeun nodded, blushing at the Loona member's words.
"I'm a big fan of you sunbae-nim."
The newcomer bowed, full 90ยฐ making Yerin glance towards Hyunjin that appeared to not know what to do.
"No no, it's ok. Just call me unnie, after all, we were on MixNine together, I heard. What's your name, again?"
Yerin slowly walked over to the bread lover and stood beside her.
"Park Soeun. It's an honour to meet you."
"Aww, Breadjin unnie has a fan."
Yerin chuckled to which Hyunjin discreetly pinched the girl beside her so that Soeun wouldn't see.
"Nice to meet you!"
She didn't notice before, but a whole lot more people were standing in front of the white sheet now.
Soeun counted their heads to count 8 in her head excluding Hyunjin and Yerin.

"Go introduce yourself, start conversations and all that. You're one of us now."
Yerin smiled, patting Soeun comfortingly on the shoulder so that she would have the courage to walk over to the group of girls.
After Soeun had gone over to strike a very engaging conversation with Yves especially. Everyone found out that Soeun idolised Loona's dance line due to wanting to be the main dancer herself.

"You were right she is really pretty. Aww, look at that smile."
Hyunjin chuckled, both Yerin and her watching Soeun interact with the Loona members.
While the two were distracted, someone managed to snake their arms around her waist, lifting her up into the air so that her feet were barely touching the ground.
"Unnie!"
Yerin tapped on the girl's arm that was around her waist, before being let down carefully on the ground.
"What's with you two lately? Dating..?"
Hyunjin smirked and wiggled her eyebrows at the two couple like best friends.
"I wish they were. At least this way, this Unnie will shut up for once in her life."
Kim Lip waddled into the room, rolling her eyes at Jinsol who had a goofy smile plastered on her face.
"Ya. You're the one that doesn't shut up. Always talking 24/7 and being loud when people are trying to sleep!"
Jinsol snarked back, pointing a finger at Jungeun.
The two continued to bicker with Hyunjin and Yerin sighed beside them and walked towards the group talking to Soeun.
"So... who's your favourite out of us all, after getting to know us for a bit?"
Hyunjin questioned curiously, earning a slap on the arm from Yerin.
"Are they ok?"
Soeun suddenly interrupted, glancing over at Jinsol and Kim Lip that were raising their voices at one another.
"Yea. They're fine. Just give it like- 5 minutes."
Hyeju shrugged.
"Or just get Yerin to drag Jinsol Unnie away."
Choerry suggested to which everyone nodded, before looking in the direction of the girl that Jinsol likes.
"Fine."
She sighed and trudged over to the bickering duo.

Swear they are like a divorced couple 24/7. Do they just never get tired of fighting?

Yerin put her arm over Jinsol's shoulder, as everyone else looked on carefully from a distance.
"Unnie, just ignore her. Let's go eat."
Yerin spoke to Kim Lip, referring to Jinsol.
They immediately both stopped talking. One with a smile on her face while the other pouted.

"Guessing she told Jinsol to shut up and not Jungeun."
Yves suggested.
"Or maybe she told Jungeunie to just ignore Jinsol unnie."
Chuu said, hugging Yves tightly.
"Is this normal?"
Soeun curiously asked.
"What? Jinsol unnie and Jungeun unnie fighting?"
Yeojin questioned, glancing at the newcomer that was the same age as her.
"Yea... but also Yerin unnie stopping them."
Soeun corrected herself as she spoke.
"I mean yeah. Basically, whatever fight any of us get into, Yerin is normally the one that stops it. Also, you guys are the same age."
Heejin spoke up, giving Soeun a smile.
She's so kind and pretty. How could someone not like her?
"Everyone ready to go?"
Yerin asked from the doorway. A sulking Jinsol still standing in front of her.
...
Soeun and Yerin seemed to be getting along very quickly. Everyone was seated at the long table, waiting for the food so in the meantime several of them went to the arcade right in front.
Jinsol was going to ask Yerin but saw that she was already holding hands with Soeun and they were racing one another there.

"Jealous?"
Heejin shuffled into the chair beside Jinsol.
"That new girl. I've never seen Yerin smile like that with anybody. When Soeun was talking to earlier, it seemed like Yerin and her had already met long before she auditioned."
Heejin mentioned, staring at the pair laughing and playfully hitting each other in the distance.
"What are you trying to say? That they are dating?"
Jinsol scoffed, averting her eyes away from the duo.
Heejin shrugged.
"More like close friends, but I'm just saying, I wouldn't rule it out as an option. I wouldn't be that surprised."
...
"Hey, you guys! The food is out."
Kim Lip yelled to grab the attention of all the girls running around the small arcade.
Yerin pulled out a giant plushie from behind her back and placed it in front of where Jinsol was sitting.
"Why are you giving me this."
The Loona member asked from her seated position, looking up at Yerin standing beside Soeun.
"Keep it. You said you like this character."
Yerin smiled, patting the plushie character on the head and moving it closer to Jinsol.
"I don't like it anymore."
Jinsol huffed, pushing it into Yerin's arms.
"Oh. Is there something going on?"
Yerin asked, crouching to be at eye level with the girl
seated with the other Loona members.
Jinsol suddenly stood up, pushing her chair back. She was only a few centimetres shorter than Yerin usually, but she was wearing platform shoes that made her seem taller.
"I thought we were supposed to hang out like old times. Just you and Loona. Isn't that what you wanted? Why did you bring someone else along?"
Jinsol suddenly snapped. Kim Lip tugged on the older girl's arm to get her to sit down but Jinsol wouldn't budge. Instead, she yanked her arm away from her friend and stormed out of the restaurant.
Yerin looked at the group of girls that stopped eating when noticing her staring at them. She heaved a sigh.
"Sit down and eat something. Umm.. I'll be back soon. Sorry, it'll only be a second."
Yerin spoke to Soeun, pulling out a chair for her.
She ran out of the restaurant, glancing left and right.
She couldn't have gone far.
----

The following few days later.
After the rehearsal, everyone was leaving the room. Jinsol was the last person, with Yerin standing at the doorway, constantly blocking her path.
"Move."
As Jinsol stepped to the side, Yerin consecutively followed her movements. The older girl, beginning to get frustrated, threw her head back.
"To be honest. I don't get why you're upset. You didn't need to ghost me."
----
Eventually, that same day, they were strolling near the Blockberry Creative building when they discovered a nearby park, and Jinsol was sitting on the swing while Yerin was gently pushing her with her hand over Jinsol's. Jinsol suddenly stopped; her eyes flickered to their hands before she stood up quickly.
"I should head back to my studio."
"I'll take you home."
Yerin immediately offered.
The older girl turned around to face Yerin; her eyebrow lifted slightly as she stared at the girl standing before her.
"You're acting a little weird today. You got something to say?"
Yerin gulped audibly,
"It's just that we never got to finish our conversation before."
Jinsol shrugged in response.
"I shouldn't have acted the way I did. Sorry, besides it's fine. We always act like this when we 'fight.' We act as though nothing ever happened."
Yerin faced down towards the ground.
"Sorry for bringing someone when we were supposed to spend time as a group."
"But why aren't you sorry for not telling me about her?"
Jinsol scowled.
"Hey! That's unfair, it's not like we're dating."
"Then what's your relationship with her?"
The girl on the other end remained in silence, unable to explain herself.
"I'm going now."
