August...

"Alright honey you be safe okay? Make sure to call everyday and don't forget to tell us about your first day of school and make sure to-"

"Mom!" I say, laughing a little. I pull her into a hug, hugging her tightly one last time. "I'm gonna be fine."

"Oh I know..it's just too hard sometimes. I'm gonna miss you." she says, still hugging me close in her arms. 

"I know Mom, I'm gonna miss you more." I pull away, looking at my whole family. I walk over to my dad, going into his bear hug for one more time. "I love ya princess." 

"Love you too Dad." I then walk over to Bailey and Ethan, hugging Bailey first. "I'm gonna miss you." I say, pulling her into my arms.

"Yeah me too. Make sure to tell me any tea or if you wanna talk, I'm here." she says, wiping her tears away. "I will." I laugh, trying not to cry yet. I look at Ethan, who's all dressed up in his army uniform. 

"Thanks for visiting before you fly off to Afghanistan." I say, going into his arms. For some reason he feels taller, or just older. Maybe we're all getting old.

"Of course. Be good okay? Although, that shouldn't be too hard for you." he teases, giving me one last hug. "Hey!" Ethan calls out to Christian and Daniel, who are seated at the front steps. "You take care of her okay?"

"Of course man, anytime." Christian says, walking over to him doing their iconic handshake. It feels like yesterday when the 4 of us were all living in that house last year. "I'm so proud of you man." Christian tells him, giving him a pat on the back.

"And you!" Ethan points to Daniel, "I'm watching you." he teases, making us all laugh. We say our final goodbyes and give our last hugs. I wave goodbye to them as they drive away, already off into the distance. I turn around to Daniel and Christian who are by the front door, my sad smile slowly turning into a happy one.

"Welcome home!" Christian says excitedly. I laugh, run up to them hugging them both. I can't believe this'll be my home for the next 4 years of my life, it's like a dream come true. This time, I got to take Ethan's room and have my own bathroom. With Daniel and I going to school at the same time, the last thing we need is to fight over the bathroom in the mornings. 

I look around my new room to see the queen size bed, a desk, a tv, and a bigger closet. I open the door next to my closet to see my bathroom, all nice and clean. I push all the moving boxes to one side, trying to picture myself in here for the next 4 years. I then hear yelling come from the living room and I immediately rush out to see what it is. Or who it is...

"Where is she!?" One excited familiar voice says.

"We've been waiting!!" Another familiar voice says after.

"I can't believe she's actually living here!!" An even more excited voice says after. Just then more and more voices overlap each other and I can't tell who is who. I then walk in to see Zach, Jack, Jonah, Corbyn, Gabbie, and Anna in the living room, attacking Daniel with millions of questions. They all see me, Anna running over to me first, hugging me tight.

"You're here!!! You're actually here! Omg I can't believe it, you have no idea how excited I was when I heard you're attending UCLA." she says quickly. Ah, how much I missed this girl. I then hug Gabbie, already making plans to go out one of these days. Then I walk over to Zach and Jack, giving the each a hug. I can already tell how many french toast mornings the 3 of us are gonna have this year. Next, Jonah who gives me a student discount at Starbucks. Gotta love Jonah. I walk over to Corbyn who has a backpack on him. After I give him a hug, he hands me the backpack, telling me to open it.

"It's some textbooks you might need for the courses you're taking this year. I don't need them anymore so, they're all yours." I look at him, grateful. I remembered how Ethan always complained how expensive textbooks were, so these are lifesavers. "Thanks Bean!" I say, giving him one last hug. 

We all then hang out around the house, making a bonfire in the backyard. We ended up just relaxing the rest of the day, talking and catching up, nothing too crazy. Once the night was over, all our friends left and it was just me, Daniel, and Christian left in the house. 

"Welp, I'm gonna go shower." Christian announces randomly, making me and Daniel laugh. I walk into my room, searching through my boxes looking for my pajamas. I hear a knock at my door and turn around - Daniel.

"Hey what'cha looking for?" he says, leaning against the door frame.

"Pajamas." I say, a tiny bit annoyed that I can't seem to find any. He walks over to me, helping me get up from the floor. "Here I'll help you." he takes my hand, walking me to his room. I stay by his door as he goes into his closet and comes out with a hoodie and sweatpants, putting them both in my hands. A small smile appears on my face as I hold the clothes, already taking in the scent of them.

"Thanks." I say as he puts his arm around my shoulder, kissing my forehead. I walk back into my room, closing the door and quickly change. I almost forgot how comfortable his clothes were. I open the door, seeing Daniel waiting for me a couple feet from my door. "Hey stranger." he smirks, I walk over to him, wrapping my arms around his waist, my head on his chest as he leans against the wall. 

"Hey look," he says, pointing the ground. "Our rooms are about 5 feet away from each other. Which means, if you ever need me, I'm only 5 feet away. K stranger?" he teases, I keep my head on his chest, laughing a little. 

"Okay neighbor." I tell him, smiling, giving him a light kiss on the lips. 

So this is where we are.

Back to how we started.

It's funny how just about a year ago, my stay in LA was only a trip. Now, it's my new life.

And it all started with the blue eyed boy next door...

Who knows what College has in store for us, but I sure can't wait to find out...
