Brian couldn't have been more stupid, but you admired that about him. Even in the most bland of situations (like sitting in detention) he could make you laugh. Even if it meant him getting bullied, he would do whatever stupid thing he could think of just to make you laugh. It always warmed his heart when he saw your happiness. So, when he saw two pens sitting on the table he figured he would pretend to be a walrus.
