Backstage

Boram was seated in ITZY's waiting room, playing on her phone with her AirPods in, listening to her music softly as she waited for their turn to perform. The young teen was playing a game when a text notification popped on the top of her phone, a small smile plastered on her face as she quickly finishes her game to respond back. After replying, the girl puts away her AirPods and stood up, placing them in her bag before she spoke, fixing her hair. "Unnie! I'm going to see my friends!" Boram cheered, advancing towards the door as she waved goodbye to her members and manager.

"Okay but make sure to be back in time for our performance!" Yeji and their manager called out in unison as Boram nodded, escaping the room excitedly as she skipped down the halls, occasionally stopping and bowing when passing staff members of M!Countdown. Biting her lower lip in embarrassment, she slowly makes her way to MCND's waiting room, knocking on the door twice before rocking on her heels, waiting for the door to open.

"Ahnie!" a voice cheered, their arms wrapping themselves around the girl's waist before lifting her off the ground in a tight hug. Giggling, Boram wraps her arms around her friend's neck, returning his hug before he placed her back onto the ground. "You didn't respond to my text like you usually do," Huijun says, escorting her into his group's waiting room.

Chuckling, she nudges him before rushing to hug Minjae. "Shut up, I was playing a game. You can wait like a minute or two," she playfully glared at the boy before turning to Minjae with a bright smile. "Jae-jae! It's ya birthday tomorrow and we don't have school so happy birthday!" she cheered, hugging the tall male who sat on the couch. A smile finds its way onto Minjae's face, chuckling as he thanked her with a hug.

"Oh? Boram is here?" Castle J asked, exiting the dressing room with a confused face. The girl smiled and waved hello, greeting BIC and Win after having a small conversation with the leader. Greeting their staff as well before she returned to her friends, sitting beside Minjae on the couch as Huijun stood in front of them, a snack in his hands.

"So this is your second comeback, how does it feel?" the girl asked, leaning her back against the couch as she crossed her arms naturally. Her hair flowing over her shoulders as she subconsciously played with the ends of her lightly curled hair. "I think this is my favourite song you guys have released," she added with a soft smile.

"Is that so?" Huijun asked with a raised eyebrow before smiling. "And it feels good to be back on stage, we're doing more fun schedules later this week," he mentioned as Minjae nodded before turning to Boram.

"It seems you have a lot of lines this era, are you going to be okay?" the tall male asked concerned, both the two MCND members remember prior to promoting with her team, she had done solo promotions and was fairly confident during that time period. "Aren't you tired?" Minjae asked the girl.

Noticing the worry in their faces, Boram smiles brightly at her friends, her left hair finding its way to pet Minjae's head. "Don't worry about me! I'm fine and not tired at all!" she chuckled. The two males by her nodded, believing her words before they continued their conversation, chatting over random things ranging from their work to school to Minjae's crush on Gayoon and when he would ask the girl out on a date. "Let's take pictures outside," Boram smiled, Huijun and Minjae agreeing as they exited the room to take photos in the hallway.

"Hey you're still wearing that necklace from your birthday," Huijun pointed out, eyes glued on the safety pin charmed necklace that laid nicely around Boram's neck. Nodding, the girl's hand goes up to feel the charm before glancing down at it quickly. "Still no progress on who gave it to you?" sadly, she shook her head with a small pout. Patting her head encouragingly, a smile on his face to reassure the girl. "There there, he might be closer than you think," he chuckles as Boram nodded, a smile on her face.

Taking some more photos, the trio stood in the hallway chatting before Boram heard her name being called out. Turning to the voice, she sees Lia waving to her hurriedly. "Let's go! It's almost our turn on stage!" the older female ushered with a hand gesture making the younger girl chuckle. Waving goodbye, she jogs over to Lia, linking their arms as they paced walked to the stage to prepare for their stage.
