I kept on walking, not looking back. I just wanted to be alone. The river was not far from me. Once I reached it I sat down and took my shoes & socks off. My feet touched the surface of the cold water. My eyes closed as a nice breeze hit my face. I took a deep breath in and out a few times. "are you alright?" I hear a voice.  My eyes opened and I looked to see who was speaking. There behind me stood a half man half dog guy. I recognised him from when I first arrived here on Endless. "who are you?" I asked him. "the names Guy, Guy pleasant" he said. "and who might you be?" asked the man. "Y/N" I said. "Y/N, what a beautiful name. But may I ask what is a beautiful girl like you out here on your own? your friends with 12 aren't you?" he asked me. "I-well it's hard to explain" I said looking down with a sad look plastered on my face. "well how about you tell me" he said sitting down next to me. 

"well alright I'll tell you but I'm sorry if it gets a bit depressing" I told him. He looked at me and put a hand on my shoulder and smiled. "well after Reggie hit that ball really far it hit something in the forest and we went to go check out what broke. We found an abandoned convenience store and went to check it out. There were food products with our faces on them. We started to open the bags and it took us to our old memories. I tried to stop them from watching what was going to happen in mine but they didn't listen" I told Guy. "what was this memory?" he asked. "it.. was my younger self singing while drawing, my parents were arguing in the other room." "life when I was younger wasn't great. My father was abusive so my mother and I ran. He still hasn't found us I hope he never does" I said with tears in my eyes. "it must have been hard" he said with a comforting voice. I looked at him and slightly smiled. He reached for my face and wiped away my tears. "how about we go do something to cheer you up?" he said standing up. he reached his arm down to help me up. I took it and he helped pull me up. We walked around the island together and talked about fun moments to cheer me up. Guy was nice and It felt like I could talk to him about anything. He reminded me a lot of my cousin Shane. I could see why he was so popular. "Hey Y/N! Are you alright?" I hear a voice Behind me.

 I turned around to see Todd and Esther running up to me. "Oh hey guys. Where's Reggie?" i asked "it was her memory. It kind of reminded her of how mean people were to her when she was a kid" said Todd "and because that stupid store made you and Reggie sad we have made a promise to never go back there again" Esther finished for him. "Oh that's good i guess" i said with a blank face. "ahem" i heard Guy say catching out attention. "oh hello Guy" said Esther with a lovey dovey tone. "oh hey" said Todd. something weird was going on between them two. i can tell they don't really like each other. "i Reggie okay?" i asked breaking the silence. "I'm not entirely sure i think she just needs some alone time" Esther answered. "okay well i hope she feels better" i said. "what about you? are you okay?" Todd asked me. "i feel better all I need to do is just distract myself from it. so you don't need to worry about me" i told them. 

"alright well we are gonna go home now see you tomorrow" said Todd. "okay see you" i said as i waved to them as they teleported away. "now that they are finally gone let me show you something" Said Guy. i said okay and followed him he led me to a beautiful part of endless where the sun shone near a lake. "wow" i gasped in aw. who knew that this was ever here. "glad you like it, there is this song I'm working on but it feels like it's missing something" Guy said. "let me hear it" i said while sitting down. he started to play the song and sang along to it. it was a nice song but i could tell that something was missing from it. "hmm" i thought. "how about you add some singing in the background like a background singer." i suggested. "that's it but how am i going to do that?" he asked me. "you can get someone to sing in the background" i told him. "how about you sing?" he said looking at me. "what? um well yeah sure i guess" i replied in shock. "okay im going to play the song again and you can add in what you want okay?" he said. "Alright I'm ready" I said with confidence. he started to play and i added bits of harmony to the song. the song was finished and he looked happy because he found what was missing from his song. 

"Thank you Y/N. that was just what it needed"

little did Y/N know that someone was watching her. "found you" a voice whispered as they disappeared.

Hey. I changed up this chapter. I didn't want Guy to be a love interest because I wanted him and Y/N to have a bond like siblings, cousins or best friends.
