A slowly advancing water droplet shot down to the dirt-covered ground, the walls narrow and unclean as fluorescent lights were bound to the walls, the light turning faint as you move further into the hallway. The air was humid and uncleanโ€”much like everything in there. Barely three people could walk side by side down the hallway, and so, Saitama and Genos made (Y/n) go behind them.

'Fucking pricks. Of course, they choose me, the cat lady. What a pile of cowards; afraid to die.' Frowning as she proceeded glaring behind both of their skulls, both Genos and Saitama sweat dropped as they felt her hateful glare itching the back of their heads.

Clearing his throat, Saitama resolved to say something to break the uncomfortable silence. No, that was a lie; it was to distract him from the eyes of death.

"I'm getting kinda fired up," Saitama remarked, glancing over to Genos, who walked right next to him, only to halt as he listened to Genos' gasp. The cyborg's face was alert. Slowing her walking to a stop, (Y/n) stared at the walking calculator in bewilderment, her hands still stuffed inside her jacket pockets as she crossed her fingers hoping that Genos' computer parts were experiencing a lagging juncture that would urge them back home.

"Huh?" Saitama breathed out, turning around to look at Genos' strange expression. "Let's just leave him hereโ€”or take him, but let's just retire." (Y/n) pleaded as she then began on trailing away, pulling Genos with her. Peering over his shoulder, Genos caught the back of (Y/n), hastily using his energy to make (Y/n) stop, which worked.

"What?" (Y/n) asked in an exhausted tone. Her figure drooped as she nonchalantly stared at the steely Genos. "Sensei, I sense living beings deeper in..." Jolting up in warning, Genos turned around to face the perplexed and uncaring Saitama, his raccoon's eyes flashing. "Master, two of them are approaching." Informing Saitama about the condition, (Y/n) sneered at learning this, the two beings in question being nobody but feeble in her mind.

"It's fine. We'll just slaughter them and go. I'm hungry." Yawning in her hand, (Y/n) hummed in dismay as Genos tightly hugged her, trying to conceal her using his body for the approaching threats. "Pardon me, Sensei, but I must protect you!" Genos passionately proclaimed as he lifted an arm towards the approaching foes while Saitama just stood in front of them, indifferent as he glanced down at the Shrek photo (Y/n) sent him.

'What a simp.' Saitama realized, turning off his phone as he looked over towards the threat. Further deep inside the hallway lights suddenly started turning off speedily, the sound of shattered glass crashing to the ground in thousands of pieces striking their ears immediately as Genos stiffened while (Y/n) just stood there, hugged, wishing nothing more than whatever was coming to just murder the guy.

Hearing the muffled voices of peopleโ€”because of being squeezed so closely against Genos, (Y/n tried to peek over her shoulder only for an abrupt gush of wind to push her aside from Genos, her body bumping against Saitama's just when Carnage Kabuto slammed Genos to the wall, cracking it.

"Genos?" Saitama called out his name in a questioning voice, Carnage Kabuto and Dr. Genus passing by them before shortly halting abruptly, their faces meeting in their path. Gawking at the strange position of Genus as his head was pressed into the wall, (Y/n) snickered, considering such a scene to be rather amusing.

'Dude be looking like someone from the La Rosa De Guadalupe after getting slapped. Dramatic ass.' Giggling, (Y/n) eventually looked away from Genos and towards Carnage Kabuto, blinking comically at his insane eyes staring at them, his form towering, with his lips set in a snarl. Catching the sight of someone in his grasp (Y/n) eyes trailed down to the figure only to falter back as she recognized who it was.

"Fuck..." (Y/n) mumbled, looking away as she tried to force herself as small as possible, only for that plan not to work once (Y/n) felt the non-threatening gaze of Dr. Genus. 'I'm so screwed.' Sweating profusely because of the male, (Y/n) didn't wish to put up her hoodie in suspect of what it might make the Doctor reminisce about.

Glancing over at the nervous (Y/n), Saitama tilted his head, baffled by her unusual change of personality. 'Is (Y/n) nervous?' Continuing looking at her face, Saitama faced away and up at Carnage Kabuto, immediately not appreciating them two.

"I am Carnage Kabuto! We got a combat experimenting room. Let's do this in there." Carnage Kabuto declared, pointing over him towards the other end of the hall from once the three came from. Poor sense of direction, dude.

Changing his face into seriousness, Saitama pulled (Y/n) towards him using the material of her jacket, this stunning (Y/n) who was already having an internal mental breakdown. "You turned Genos into a modern piece of art. Fights on!" Saitama shouted, his free hand rubbing the stretchy, shiny fabric of his red gloves.

Noticing the unforeseen action, calm flowed over her senses asโ€”for a split secondโ€”a gentle smile blossomed on her face, her eyes holding a small gleam of elation as she glanced away. Smiling smugly down at his prey, Carnage Kabuto snickered.

Speeding inside a blinding white room, its prestige was vast and its stature gigantic. The walls were parted into immense pieces of rectangles for the walls, floors, and ceilings, as everything seemed spotless, never used. This illusion made all the bloodbaths, murders, and carnages that have transpired in this room seem nothing but a myth.

"Pretty big, eh?" Carnage Kabuto examined, his posture that of a silverback gorilla walking on the floor. Standing on the other side of the broad room (Y/n) yawned, checking her phone as the wallpaper of her cat made her smirk. For some reason, Saitama's cape started flowing beautifully as he stood far in front of Carnage Kabuto, his face from earlier still present.

"It's the biggest room in the facility. This is where they make us fight to test our combat abilities." Carnage Kabuto informed him of the irrelevant information, Saitama already wandering around aimlessly.

"Well then, let's start the killing-"

A spurt of fire went his way as it blocked him, the colors of the flames dark and light as it concealed his figure for a few seconds before letting up revealing that it did no damage to Carnage Kabuto, but it did to the clean, white flooring. "Oh?" Turning his head around to stare at the entrance, the weakened figure of Genos arrived. His figure slouched as he used the side of the opening to uphold his weight.

"Still alive, huh?" Carnage Kabuto examined, though Genos didn't reply as he swiftly rose his head high to look at the abomination straight in the eyes, his golden orbs glowing. Disappearing from his initial spot, Genos ran at tremendous speeds towards Carnage Kabuto, his expression determined as the only thing that he left behind him was a trial of picked-up wind.

Sending a high left-kick to Carnage Kabuto's chest, Genos grunted as he went back to the ground to prepare for a second attack, running in circles around the being while shooting a blast of explosions his way. Jumping high, Genos flew in the air for a few seconds before falling back down towards the ground. His fist intended to punch Carnage Kabuto as a surprise attack because of his earlier predicted attacks.

Raising his head to watch Genos, a large crazed smile spread across his face as his pupils dilated, red veins becoming more noticeable in his eyes. "You fool!" Carnage Kabuto mocked, only for Genos' face to stay the same as he declared his next attack: Machinegun Blows.

Countless rapid punches were trained on Carnage Kabuto as Genos also combined some explosions into the mix, making for a vigorous, repeated charge. Having enough of his ineffective attacks Carnage Kabuto opted to stop it as he punched Genos making the cyborg grunt in pain, falling to the ground before rolling on the ground at a swift pace, though (Y/n) grew bored with just sitting around and caught the male.

Catching him by the waist, (Y/n) brought him over towards where she rested and lay him next to her against the wall. Smoke came out of his body as he tried to stand up, sparks of electricity showing outside of his eyes as he tried to stand up.

"H-He got me... let me... take him-" Punching him on the stomach harshly, Genos grimaced as he glanced over at (Y/n)โ€”his senseiโ€”in bewilderment. Staring blankly ahead (Y/n) retreated her fist and slumped down further from the wall. "Stop being so needy. This isn't your fight, calculator, it's your Master's. Have some respect." (Y/n) explained in a harsh voice, her eyes never meeting his. Drawing his hand up, (Y/n) groaned as she looked away, setting a shield around herself.

'What a childish fool...'

Delivering a massive controlled explosion towards Carnage Kabuto, said being expanded his stomach as he manifested an impressive breath from his mouth, pushing back the attack and making it go towards the user. Staring in shock at the contour attack, Genos hurriedly looked over towards (Y/n) and shielded her body with his own, his eyes enlarging further as he heard what (Y/n) said next: "You call us your Sensei's, but you never wish to hear our words of wisdom."

The reversed attack quickly hit them, covering their bodies from view as the only thing that anyone outside of the attack could see was their black silhouettes, one resting down while the other is standing up with their arms outstretched as they stood in front of the other.

Enlarging his eyes in dread, Saitama grew unsettled for the female, recognizing that she was rather slow for everything, so that can probably also be said for reverse unexpected attacks. Taking a step forward, Saitama promptly withdrew, knowing accurately how angered (Y/n) gets whenever someone thinks that she can't hold her own for something.

Soon the attack subsided as (Y/n) slowly looked up at the drained Genos who started swaying before crashing down, causing (Y/n) to put down her shield and catch Genos' heavy metal weight. "You idiot popcorn, now you look like a clown because of your disregard." (Y/n) tsked, feeling too humiliated to laugh at the theme of the internet that is Genos.

Hearing the low laughing of Carnage Kabuto, (Y/n) turned her gaze up to meet his own, his lengthy tongue dangling out, making (Y/n) wince in revulsion. 'Nobody wants to see your tongue, boy. Get rid of it.' Bringing Genos closer to her (Y/n) sighed, finding there was nothing she can do since he was a machine. Even with some human parts, none of them were damaged, which meant that there was nothing that (Y/n) had to fix.

"You've gone and gotten my hopes up." Saitama commented on this making (Y/n) look over at him in question. "How does that motherfucker get your hopes up? All he does is make me want to flush shit-face over there down the toilet and burn it later." Gawking at the male, (Y/n) yawned; he was looking too much like one of those cocoa beans for her to be relaxed with her thought process.

"What's the hold-up? Let's go! Bring everything you've got!" Carnage Kabuto ordered, his cocky expression being too much of a joke for (Y/n).

'Carnage Kabutoโ€”a demon incarnate. The strongest and most brutal creation of the House of Evolution. Let's see how youโ€”at your archaic stage of human developmentโ€”fare against a monster that is the final form of artificial evolution. Or will you be the trigger for a new evolution? I can't wait to find out!'

Peering over at the bleeding guy who she wanted to overlook earlier (Y/n) unexpectedly felt an emotion described as disappointment accumulate in the pit of her stomach. 'I see the only thing he was able to do with my help just made a plaything for Saitama. What a waste.' Tsking in frustration, (Y/n) looked away from him, quietly crying internally because of what she could have done with that money.

Taking a step forward, Saitama's cloak flew around smoothly as his expression turned rigid. "Oh, I see it! I see it! You're supposed to be strong." Carnage Kabuto speculated, doing finger guns towards him only for Saitama to dismiss his cockiness. "Don't disappoint me now. You're this place's ultimate weapon, right? You're clearly not the same as the guys from this morning. Look at you, just oozing with confidence." Saitama scrutinized closely, Carnage Kabuto in return just chuckled deeply.

Dashing away from Saitama's view, Carnage Kabuto cackled as he sped around behind Saitama, his fist outstretched as he went to punch Saitama, only for the individual to gasp in shock, instantly stumbling back as he withdrew to the other end of the room. Studying the expression of Saitama, a chill went up (Y/n) spine inducing her to smirk.

'Oh, what a feeling.'

Looking behind his shoulder in confusion, Saitama saw how Carnage Kabuto used his wings to fly away as he landed with a 'thud'. "What's are you doing? Hey."

Sweat profusely rolled down his body as his body was hitting the wall, his hands holding him as a panicked expression appeared on his face. 'If I'd attacked him just now, he'd have killed me.' The being's heart rate was beating at an alarming rate as it pounded against his rib cage, resounding to where he himself could hear it.

'Who the hell is this guy? He's leaving himself wide open, yet all my instincts are screaming, sending out danger signals!'

"Huh?"

"You bastard! How the hell did you get that strong?!"Carnage Kabuto howled out, his question intriguing others as they, too, wished to know. Instead, (Y/n) just scoffed. 'What a useless question, you buffoon.'

Breathing deeply as he tried to calm his heart rate, Saitama's face turned serious. "So you wanna know too? Okay, fine." Agreeing to answer his question, Saitama also directed it towards Genos. "You can listen as well, (Y/n)."

"Yeah, I'd rather not."

Gasping in surprise, Genos stared at his Master incredulously, not being that he was going to tell them something so special right then. 'He's going to tell us right now? The secret to Master's power...?' Genos thought, such a thing still not something rational in his mind.

"I'd like to know, too." Looking over towards Dr. Genus, Saitama hummed. "Who are you?" Questioning his importance, Dr. Genus replied: "I am Genus."

Tilting his head in confusion, Saitama finally decided to just say it. "Well, fine. Listen up."

'It's too risky! He can't let these guys know his secret!' Looking back over at Carnage Kabuto, he glanced back as Saitama began his speech.

"First, what's important is to make sure you stick to this intense training regimen." Saitama warned them, his face genuinely heroic. 'Training? Not modification surgery or genetic enhancement, but training?' Dr. Genus thought, his big brain doing backflips.

'What training...?'

"Listen, Genos. You just have to keep doing it. No matter how hard it gets. It took me three years to get this strong."

(Y/n) exhaled, a disheartened look crossing her features. 'Here comes: the Bullshit Training Regimen.'

"One hundred push-ups!"

"One hundred sit-ups!"

"One hundred squats!"

"Then a ten-kilometer run. Every single day!" Saitama exclaimed proudly. "And of course, make sure you eat three meals a day; just a banana in the morning is fine. But the most important thing is to never use the AC or heat in the summer or winter so that you can strengthen the mind."

"In the beginning, you'll wish you were dead. You might start thinking: what's the harm of taking a day off? But for me, in order to be a strong hero, no matter how tough it was, even if I was spitting blood; I never stopped. I kept doing squats even when my legs were so heavy they refused to move. Even when my arms started doing weird clicking noises, I kept doing push-ups."

"A year and a half later, I started to notice a difference. I was bald..."

'Sai looked way better with hair on, in my opinion.'

"... and I had become stronger! In other words, you gotta train like hell to the point where your hair falls out. That's the only way to become strong. The guys that are fooling around with the "new human race" and evolution junk will never make it this far. Human beings a strong because we have the ability to change ourselves." Once finishing, (Y/n) cackled.

'W-What?'

'Is this guy... for real?'

'Master...'

"You are so... full of crap!"

So, (Y/n) died.
