Y/n's POV

It's probably been 9 months since me and Xiao started dating. (this is just an guess date i have no idea how long its been)

...

"Valentines.." I sighed looking down at my notepad which was supposed to have a bunch of idea for what I should do for Xiao. "Come on Y/n thinkkkk." Groaned in frustration, it had been 45 minutes of no progress.

2 days till Valentines day, I'd been counting. Counting down the days till I embarrass myself because my gift for Xiao. Won't be good enough. 

Xiao's POV:

"Chongyun are you sure this is what they want, what if they gets a better present and mine looks bad." I asked as we walked around the mall. 

"Trust me, the whole time you and Y/n had a crush on each other and weren't dating and still now, Venti and I are and forever will be your cupid and guardian angels." 

A pop figure. Y/n had wanted them for ages, they always complained that it was too expensive or that it was out of stock. I had preordered it for them. I contacted Chongyun the day before, asking if he could help me find something to go with Y/n's gift. It was better then picking Venti. As much as I admire his confidence... It's uhh you know what nevermind.

Chongyun had suggested flowers, but I have no idea what flowers they liked. And asking two days before is extremely suspicious.

Y/n's POV:

After a long time of Umm-ing and uhh-ing I decided to contact Hu Tao, After all she has known him for a long time. 

"OMGGG!!" Hu Tao shrieked in excitement as I let her into my dorm. 

"So I'm kinda stuck. I have no idea what to do for Xiao.. you know for-" I stated.

"VALENTINES DAYYYY!!!" She yelled. 

"Yes," I replied smiling, her energy was almost contagious. 

"Do you have anything so far??" She wondered, as she looked around the room trying to sight a gift or romantic letter.

"Uh.. I have a letter but it's for his birthday so I can't use it. Hu Tao I have nothing to work offf." I whined

"Why don't you make another letter." She suggested, "Maybe one about everything leading up till now??"

"I'd be too embarrassed to give it to him." I sighed.

"Have a gift to go with it and wrap the letter with the gift so you can't take it out." She excitedly replied.

"Well one thing is done it just leaves the gift.."

"Wow you really left this to the last minute." She commented. 

"Yea.." I mumbled. "Hey what about a gift basket with snacks and stuff.. I know it's kinda dumb but-" 

"OMG YES OKAY LETS GO." Hu Tao screamed, grabbing her bag and dragging me out the door.

...

-At the mall-

As wondered around the mall looking for the supplies needed, We saw two familiar figure walking towards the food court.

"shittttt, Hu Taoooo. Bro if they see us Xiao is gonna think I'm a bad personnn and break up with meeeeee." I whined. 

"Bro how do we know that Xiao isn't shopping with Chongyun?HMM" She agressively suggested.

"No no, they're walking towards the food court." I whispered.

"Whatever, shall we continue?" She proposed. 

Xiao's POV:

On our way to the food court we saw Y/n and Hu Tao. I quickly grabbed Chongyun before he wondered off to another valentines special popsicle stand. Who knew valentines popsicles were that popular.

"Do you think Y/n saw us?" Chongyun whispered whispered.

"No. I was aware of my surroundings.. And yours." I replied calmly.

"Okayy.. So can we go back for a popsicle?" Chongyun requested. 

"Okay, but stay alert!" I instructed. 

Y/n's POV:

After me and Hu Tao finished shopping we returned to the dorms and went our separate ways.

As I was finishing up the gift I looked over to my bed saw a photo of Xiao and I when we first met. "THAT'S IT!!" I shouted in excitement.

"I quickly printed out photos of us from all over the place and made a little book with notes and stickers in it. (0-0 if you couldn't tell by how bad this chapter is yes yes I am single)

Once I finished the book I wiped my face with my sleeved and packed everything for Valentine day. 

Valentines day - time skip 2 days

Xiao and I usually meet downstairs in the morning. Does it change considering it's Valentines day?? Do I need to give it to him at a certain time. All these thoughts clogged up my mind until my phone lit up.

Xiao's POV

I walked around the room anxiously waiting for Y/n to arrive.

"Can you stop walking in circles Xiao, I'm getting dizzy."Venti joked. 

"I'm just waiting for Y/n to arrive, and scared they won't like my gift." I explained.

"Hellooo?? Xiao? Venti?" I heard Y/n call from outside.

Uh I-.. I wanted- No damn it. I meant." I stuttered after opening the door for Y/n. "I mean, Happy Valentines day Y/n." I said as I grabbed my gift off the table nearby.

"AWWWWWWW!! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY XIAOOOOO!!" Y/n replied excitedly as they pulled me in for a hug. 

They opened the gift slowly unwrapping the poorly wrapped gift. "OMG XIAOOOOOO!!" They replied in awe. "This is so cuteee, I've wanted it for so longgg." They put the gift down on the bench and gave me a kiss.

"Oh and this is your gift..." They whispered as the grabbed it out of their bag slowly. "Sorry.. It's not very good." 

I looked through the book. It had screenshots of our first texts, some of the photos we took together and so nice notes and cute stickers.

"OH and I forget." They said turning around a grabbing something that was hidden behind the door. "It's.. It's a gift with a bunch of stuff you like and.. I wasn't sure if you had already made lunch but I made you almond tofu." They said smiling awkwardly. It was cute.

"Thank you.." I replied.

"Was it that bad??" Y/n sighed.

"No no, I- I just don't often receive gifts. And I think it's perfect." I smiled as I embraced them. 

"... OKAY OKAY BREAK IT OUT NOW.. WAIT!! DONT BREAK UP BUT I MEAN MOVE IT LOVER BIRDS WE GOT PLACES TO BE!!" Venti said as he squeezed between the two of us and walked out the door.
